[Completed] Can someone help root ivew i785q tablet? aka hipstreet i8 - XDA Assist

I have a tablet I cannot root. It is branded hipstreet i8 but is also listed as an iview i785q. I have been searching and can only find listings on where to buy it. I have tried every tutorial and app i could find still no luck. Also I am interested in installing windows 8 on it. I have the android version they also sell a windows 8 version but they were out of stock lol Plus its more fun doing it if its possible to.

Here's the thing, not every device has support fit a root exploit. And low end or uncommon brands generally fall into that category. Chances are there's no way to do it.
You can however ask for support here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2259645
Good luck

[Completed] [Q] How to Re-install Android on my phone?

I have a Spice stellar Jazz [Spice MI 353] low end phone running Android 2.3.5
Its an small Indian company phone so I am unable to find guide/tut to do it. I want to install New Android Version. Maybe some with better look and features.
Cant find information to upgrade and tweak this phone. Help Thanks
Well being unable to find anything out here for your device is not a surprise at all. The thing is, when you buy these uncommon low end devices there's often no support. Probably never will be either.
You can ask your question here if you like but I wouldn't get my hopes up

[Completed] Applying Custom ROM on a "No-name" budget Tablet.

I really really hope this is the right place to be asking this, I don't want to flood a place i,ve only just discovered, but I've tried to figure this out on my own and have had little luck, So some insight would be very much appreciated.
So The situation is: I have a budget tablet that came pre-installed with adware and (i think) malware. I've heard of people fixing these sort of things by "Rooting" the tablet and removing the issue. Well my tablet came Pre-rooted, so after looking around some more, i found out about Customs ROMs. Further investigation revealed that most customs ROMS don't support my kind of Tablet, Which is a Tagital (That's where the no-name comes in) T10 10.1 inch tablet. My purchase of this tablet was mostly my fault, as i bought on impulse and didn't look at the reviews at all, which blatantly expose the issues with the tablet.
Now, what I'd like to know is: Is there a way for me to apply a custom ROM even though my tablet is unsupported? I'd like to avoid returning this tablet, so i'd like to get the best out of the situation.

[Completed] Buying advice: Asus ZenFone 2

I am in the market for a new cell phone to replace my current Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini. Given my budget, I have nearly settled on the Asus ZenFone 2. At $299 for an upper-middle tier cell phone with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM, it seems like a solid bet. The only real downfall I have discovered from my research thus far is the ZenUI which overlays the stock Android experience and the massive amount of bloatware that comes pre-installed on the phone.
If I were able to safely get rid of the bloatware and make the phone more like a pure stock Android experience, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
I consider myself fairly able to work with technology, although I have never actually rooted, flashed, or otherwise modded a cell phone. So, I am looking for some guidance. Do you think the ZenFone2 warrants a purchase in spite of the concerns outlined? If no, do you have any suitable reocmmendations in that budget range? More importantly, do you think I would be able to modify the phone to get rid of bloatware and make it a more stock Android experience?
Sorry if this questions has been asked previously. As I mentioned, I am very new to this, certainly new to the forums, and just looking for guidance. Thanks!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Asus Zenfone 2 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2 which would be a good starting place. I suggest you ask your question with all relevant details in the general forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general where experts familiar with that device will be best able to advise you.
Good luck!

[Completed] Questions on proper way to dual boot a '2-in-1' tablet

Hello, I recently obtained a brand new Nextbook Ares 11 (11.6" Quad-Core 2-in-1 Tablet). While it has been factory installed with lollipop which runs quite smooth with consideration to the keyboard, I would like to be able to dual boot this device with windows xp or newer. I have certain windows applications I use for work and could benefit greatly if I had them on this tablet. I really hate to sacrifice andriod though, its actually out of the question...Life without andriod just isnt living... I have seen a few videos and sites that clearly show this done, but ive yet to find any instructions/details/software so Ive decided to post on here. I figured if you guys cant help then you can point me to a thread or website that can. Thanks for your time and help, ill attach two pictures with stats of the device.

[Completed] lg k3 lslg450avb IS NOT LISTED anywhere for root exploit type

this is a repeat thread of how to root LG K3 lslg450avb, the other thread was totally ignored by the snub moderator who didnt even read the question.
one more time and keep out of this thread until it gets assisted dear mod
The LG K3 LSLG450AVB is not listed on xda forums device root list and there is no documentation other than the scummy root sites that make money from it are willing to claim any phone that you search is on their list
So can some one elaborate, how do you communicate with a boot loaded in an lg device? the k3 is a 30 dollar phone so it is probabbly a switched up version of an older chipset since companies are cheap and like to reuse parts
If it matters, boost mobile, and i think all k3s use micro sim right
If some one could help that'd be great, i dont get much electrucity where i live so an unlocked machine that also gets internet would kinda help a negro out here, thx and have a nice day

Greetings and welcome to assist. Unfortunately no one has managed to achieve root for your device yet that is why there is no documentation for it. Attempts to root your device are being discussed here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/to-root-lg-k3-t3423584
unless someone manages to achieve root there is little we can do
