Hello everyone, my brother just made a big mistake when install custom rom and now he broke his core
The device couldn't enter normal mode, it's always enter CWM. I tried to fix it with flashing but the device couldn't enter the downloading mode, when i press vol down + home + power, it tooks time to enter, and when i pressed vol up, it back to cwm.
What should i do then?

Go to cwm, Select reboot>Download. Download mode reboot option is there in Twrp recovery

I can't find it. Can you tell me more specific? Because i'm already use the USB JIG, when i plug it, the samsung logo was appear with yellow triangle below it. What i suppose to do?
If u have usb jig,the phone should have automatically booted to download mode! Try this- plug usb jig>hold volume down+home+power button(if it doesnt work try holding volume up button) If it doesnt solve,please take it a good repair shop

Now, I'd like to go on recoveery mode.... how is it possible ? Previously when holding the start button, there was an 'reboot using recovery mode' option was there but it is no longer there.
Anybody know how to reboot in recovery mode so I could continue and install the updates ?

you just need to restart your phone while holding the vol up and down rockers...this will bring you into recovery (i.e CWM)
if u want download mode (aka odin mode), simply restarting and holding down volume and power will do that as well

I've rebooted hodding volume buttons and it worked......
After that, when I hold the on/off button to reboot, the Recovery option is now available.

Hi - I just installed CM7 in Samsung Galaxy S4G T959V and i want to reboot the phone in recovery mode so that i can install CM9. But unfortunately i am unable to reboot the phone in recovery mode. I tried pressing the Volume Up/Down key and Power key together to boot into recovery and it does not work. I went inside the Rom Manager and tried the option boot into recovery mode and still no luck. Can somebody guide me how to go inside recovery mode in CM7. Appreciate your help
Hold down the power button, press Reboot and pick Recovery.

First off uninstall rom manager.
Make sure you are holding both volume buttons together.
If you have adb installed on your pc, plug the phone into your computer and type this.

Hi everybody.
i couldn't enter recovery and downloading mode.
(it showed emergency dloald mode instead of downloading screen and ramdup mode instead of recovery mode )
but my rom was working well till i reseted into downloading via power menu options and installed a stuck rom via odin.
now it's stucking in bootanimation and dosen't load.and i can't enter recovery and downloading mod.

what can i do?
you need flash recovery with odin again.
Stuck at bootanimation!! That means u still got it bro. Remove & reinsert battery. Then
* Press Home & Power buttons together for recovery mode, or
* Press Home & Volume down & Power buttons together for download mode.
But u need to remember the fact that once ur phone enters downloading mode, then it will not enter recovery mode even by Home & Power buttons. But it can always enter download mode by Home & Volume down & Power buttons combo.
So, try to enter in download mode & then flash stock f/w thereafter.

i flashed twrp recovery with odin 3
and in odin it says pass
[i cheked auto rebot and f. reset time box in odin]
when odin says pass phone get reboot
and when i power off to get boot into twrp
first i see installing system update
then says no command
then Then goes to android system recovery
[android recovery work]
but Why i can not enter twrp?!

and i tried with 2 different version of odin and flash it 3 4 times!
and i had unlocked the bootloader [oem unlock]
and also i had turned on the usb debugging before flashing twrp ]

the right way
power + home + vol up
By holding the "home button + vol -" keep holding until you see twrp
OR
Depending on the carrier you have sometimes the recovery mode the first time is the hard reset screen.
Before you do this back up your device
if you installing it right, hold the "home button + vol -" when you booting it up once you see it your manufacturer logo, let go of your home button then press it again, keep holding the vol -.
Now, you should now should see the hard reset screen, use the volume key to move and now press yes for everything and then twrp will boot up.
Disclaimer i don't have this device
I have a J500F version, found the solution.
Uncheck Auto Reboot in Odin, then do the "installing", after that unplug your device and just simply remove the battery, then replace it.
If you're done then Volume up + Home + Power button will get you into TWRP.

i flash a boot logo this morning but unfortunaly my phone boot loop with black screen and vibarate without any logo....i just cant go into download mode only, how to go into recovery? i tried vol up + power botton with no luck:crying::crying::crying:
