Is anyone else experiencing sound quality issues on voice calls? Noticed it this weekend, I'm running stock with the latest update XNPH44S.
I'm usually using a Bluetooth headset so didn't notice it until I had to make a phone call without my headset this week. Person I was talking to said the volume was out, I had to put the call on speakerphone before they could hear me.

I am having trouble with my Razr Maxx.
Whenever I listening to audio on my phone, and I receive an incoming call, instead of the ringtone playing I hear whatever I am listening to over my speakerphone. I thought this may have just been an issue with my Bluetooth stereo headset, but it happens when my wired headphones are in as well.
The issue is not the ringtone itself either because I changed the ringtone to SILENT, and it did the same thing when I got a call.
This has been happening for a few weeks now.
I tried clearing data\cache from the stock call app, same issue.
My phone is rooted but there is no custom rom installed.
Audio source doesn't matter either, it happens when im listening to Google Music or a BeyondPod or watching a downloaded video.
This is a little annoying since I work in a cubicle and out of the sound of thousands of keystrokes being typed Dan Patrick's voice is blasted through my speakerphone because I received an incoming call.
I had Blacklist installed so I uninstalled it but this did not fix the issue.
I want to try everything else before a full restore, any suggestions?

Guys I encountered a strange problem on my phone.
The sound output has completely stopped working, i.e, the speaker doesn't play any kind of sound now (no songs, no notification sounds, no ringtones, absolutely NOTHING!).
Also, when I make a call, I'm unable to hear the dial tone. And I am not able to even listen to the other person's voice during call.
It was fine in the morning today, until I connected my phone to a speaker to play a song. After that the sound stopped working. Has it got to do anything with the fact that I connected to the speakers? Because when my friends connected their phones to the same speaker, they encountered no problems whatsoever.
P.S : Whenever I play a song, or any audio in my phone now, i get a small "hsss" sound near the speaker. I get a similar sound when I call anyone.
Someone PLEASE solve this problem for me ! I need to answer calls and it's a very big problem for me if I can't get it fixed soon

When doing a phone call the other person only listen me if using LOUDSPEAKER, if I used the normal calling, the microphone is very low for the others...
Hey all, yesterday I noticed that I'm no longer hearing sound during phone calls, and I can confirm that speakerphone also did not work. The person on the other end couldn't hear me either. Microphone still works with Google Assistant. Speakers still work as normal. I'm wondering if anybody has had this issue and knows of a fix? Thanks
I've been having issues where no one can hear me on speakerphone. This also leads video calls like Facebook Messenger not having my audio go out.
Has anyone had this issues? Any possible fixes?
