[Q] Moving a paid program to another account - MX Player

Hi. Can I somehow move a paid MX Player Pro to my wife's account? We shared the same tablet before, and the program was in my account, but actually it was she who used it. Now I bought a tablet for myself, and she can't use it from her account, though I don't need it. Is there any way to cancel my own purchase and transfer an app to other person's Google account?

There is no such options available on Google Play. License is per account. You can use it any number of accounts. So, it's valid as long as you keep your mail id logged in.

New LIVE account

In the process of moving from an old email to a new email. I have now set up my new phone using my new live account. I've purchased many apps under my old account. Is it possible to reinstall without purchasing again?

I don't think so, since your device is registered to your live ID by using the activation key provided with your device. You should contact winphonesupport on twitter.
Try this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080702144259AAwo9bf. This should allow you to associate your new email with your old gamertag which is linked to your purchases.

[Q] New Market

So did anyone else notice that the new Market has an account setting? Allows me to select different accounts. Does this finally mean that I can merge two accounts worth of apps? Family style?

Im not sure if you can merge 2 accounts, They have to have a way of preventing people from signing into a family members account and downloading apps that were bought thru said account. If not then it poses a serious problem for app developers and devs getting paid correctly. Unfortunately I dont have another account to test it on..
Sent from my SCH-I510 using XDA App
"Your application purchases are tied to your Google Account and can be installed an unlimited amount of times on any device." See:
http://www.google.com/support/androidmarket/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=113410
It works for watching movies rented on another account, too:

Keep in mind you do still have to add the additional Google account(s) to the phone, meaning the device will have access to all other Google services including Gmail.
so lets say I added my gmail account to my wifes phone and downloaded all the apps I have paid for to her phone..couldnt I just delete my gmail from her phone after and her phone would still have all my apps on it?
The documentation doesn't say, but most likely yes, and it'd be real easy to test it. Just add your account, download an app, remove the account, and see what happens.
Keep in mind, though, that without the associated Google account you won't be able to update those apps -- which is an enormous downside in the long run.

I plan on just having a family account to buy apps on, and then add that to all the phones. But it use to be that it had to be the main account.. I haven't purchased any apps yet, recent iphone switcher, but now it appears to not have to be the main account... which is awesome cause google talk only worked with the main.

[Q] How to exclude device from Google account without having it?

Hello,
I recently borrowed tablet that I needed to create app for some company, that was the chief's son tablet. I did the job, gived it back and was sure that i logged out from my google account. But right now on my google account in "my apps" I see thousand of free apps and I am scared that this kid will start buying paid games on my credit card. I contacted chief via e-mail, but till now there is no answer. Cannot contact him personally because right now I am not in the city.
So is there any way to exclude one of devices from my google account via web browser on my computer?
Can't you just change your Google password instead?
Well, I didn't thought about this, actually I can do it if there is no other way. I do not know how complicated it will be, because I have this two-step verification login etc.
I don't believe there is any other way of simply deleting a device from your Google account.

Breaking Single Sign On? (Amazon App Store and others)

Hey,
I am using Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 SPH-L720T on Nc6 (4.4.2) cfauto rooted/twrp....
Is there an app to break or disallow apps from using single sign on?
My desire arises from having one account (an old one) on Amazon Appstore that I have purchased lots of paid apps on, but somewhere along the line I created another Amazon account and bought Prime, so the suite of Amazon apps with their sso functionality now requires me to basically sign in and out of everything all the time (especially when I want to use an app that's associated with the old Amazon account)
If I use an app from old account while signed into one of Amazon suite with new account (Amazon.com app, kindle reader, etc...) it says I don't own app prompting me to sign into old account all over.
Major pain in the arse!
*And yes I have called Amazon to see if they'd combine the accounts. I don't know why they can't. It seems like merging two accounts would be common sense functionality.
So.... Can anyone help? Do we have any developers who have worked on this? If not, is breaking sso even possible? How?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] How to switch between two Google accounts with payment methods.

Hi,
Have a Galaxy S4 with a standard Android 5.0 build on it. All working well.
I have a Google Play store account with a credit card assigned.
I also have another Google Play store account which I have added a $30.00 Google play store voucher to.
When I want to purchase a Google play resource, it always selects the primary Google account with the credit card assigned to it.
Is there any way to select the 'second' account with the $30.00 Google Play voucher for payment of app/purchase?
I'm thinking I could remove the Google Play account with the credit card, leaving only the second account with the voucher, but wondering if there is a cleaner way of accessing the $30.00 voucher card account., without having to delete accounts.
Thanks for any thoughts/help.

I believe you must sign out of the first from settings>accounts>Google. Then sign in with your other account.

Hmm.. that's what I was thinking too. But was hoping you could "magically" switch between accounts without having to "remove" the primary credit card account. and then add it again later. It would/could seriously trash an Android device if the primary account has purchased many apps like Titanium Backup, Droidmail, Business Calendar and etc.
If lucky, at best those apps will just not work during the switch, at worst.....
Before I really thought about this, I thought is was a good/easy way for "significant other" to buy stuff on the voucher card and not have to concern myself about using the credit card account.
I believe, without ever having done it, a primary account can have multiple payment options.
Thus the primary account could have both the credit card and the voucher.
BUT, the voucher was just for one person and not the other little monkeys that use the 'primary' account for all there 'generic/common' paid applications.

You could try to just add the other account to your device. Settings>accounts>add account>Google.
Then see if you get the option to switch between the two.
