[Completed] [Q] How to speed up LG G2 performance? (without root) - XDA Assist

Hi!
Just bought LG G2 16GB no-brand (european version), GREAT DEVICE
But I wanted to push it to the limit so I started searching on the internet some guide to speed up it, but I didn't find nothing usefull :silly:
So, I'm asking to you guys how to speed the hell up my LG G2!
I have everything up-to-date, already disabled LG MLT from service menù... and now I dont know what to do to speed up my great phone a little more (obviously, without root... dont ask me why )
Thanks!
(sorry for some grammatical errors)

Hi,
This is the place to ask questions on your device.
> LG G2 > G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [HELP THREAD][Noob Friendly] LG G2 Ask any question
You should know, that without root, you can't alter anything system related..... So there isn't much you can do here. Turn off as many services and features as you can... That's about all you can do with no root.
Good luck!

Thank you. Thread closed.

Hi,
You need to ask this in LG G2's dedicated Q and A thread where other G2 users will help you out!
> LG G2 > G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [HELP THREAD][Noob Friendly] LG G2 Ask any question
Don't worry, it's not as serious as you think, you'll be up and running in no time!
Please note that the above thread I've given you is for the International LG G2. If you have a carrier specific G2, please say so, so that I can guide you accordingly!

[Completed] [Q] Need help with bricked LG D415

Hey guys I'm new here and I'm not so sure if this is where I have to post this but here I go. I have an LG D415 and I'm stuck on a bootloop. I've been searching around but haven't found an answer... I only have access to fastboot, adb for some reason isn't working sorry for not elaborating but that's pretty much it.
Hi,
You will definitely need to elaborate if you want more accurate assistance... What is running on your device, Root?, what happened just before... Did you flash something.... Etc...
Gather that info, then post here in your device section,
> LG Optimus L90 > Optimus L90 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

[Completed] [Q] Broken Phone (mostly)

I had rooted the LG G3 D855 a while ago and I wanted to get the lollipop update so I unrooted the phone and tried to update it but it didn't work. After that I said since I did that why don't I go to lollipop so I found a rom here on XDA that worked. I downloaded the files but realized I needed root again and searched for a way to root it. Long story short I tried both root programs there and after a factory reset I am left with no home screen at all, no keyboard, and no way to launch almost any app. Is there any way to install a rom without root?
Hi,
You don't need root to flash roms... What you need is a custom recovery.
Here is a dedicated help thread in your device section that you can ask for help in,

[Completed] [Q] Low storage on rooted G2

Good afternoon
I have a rooted G2 on the AT&T network. No matter what custom ROM I use my phone shows my memory at 80,85% used up.Then once I add my apps it goes up to like 90% used. This forces me to pick and choose what apps to load as I don`t want to make my phone slow from low storage.System data shows at around 18gb,over half of my phones 32gb.Can anyone please tell me why this happens and if there is any way to free up more space on my phone? My Android version is 4.4.2 and my Kernel is 3.4.102 and I`m currently running Cloudy G3 2.0 ROM
Hi,
The system files alone can take up a lot of space. But you have a lot of space left. And Android handles ram very well. So I think you have no cause for worry.
But if you want to ask the experts who own your device, you can ask about this here,
> LG G2 > G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [HELP THREAD][Noob Friendly] LG G2 Ask any question
Good luck!

Hi,
You can ask for help in the thread you downloaded the rom from. Not having gapps installed could be an issue too.
Good luck!

Here is your devices Development section. I don't know which rom exactly that installed, so you can find it here and ask for help in the thread. ?

If that doesn't help, or you have future questions about your device, here is where to ask,
