Hi,
I faced problems while unlocking the bootloader of my HTC One S. After getting the identifier token and submitting it at the HTC Dev website, the token was not getting accepted and I was not able to move further with my unlocking process.
Can anyone let me know why i may be facing this problem? Also if there are any solution for this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Hi people! I'm fairly new to rooting and stuff so i got a problem. At step 8, when i was told to enter the command, it says it cannot load Unlock_code.bin which i have no idea why. I'm on Win 7 with everything that is needed installed and updated. Please help!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I'm not sure what HTC device you have. You mention step 8 which leads me to believe you are following a guide on XDA. I would ask your question in that thread.
Good luck and welcome to XDA.

i have an htc one m8 with verizon on lollipop 5.0.1 and when i submit my token id it says unlocking bootloader failed. it also gives this error message: Error Code: 172.
Error Reason: CID Not Allowed (MID not exist in Model Rule). i have no idea why it does this, i copied the token correctly. Could someone please help me, i really want to root my phone
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. The best place to get an answer is in your device's specific forum. They are the experts on the device. here is a link to that forum, http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one-m8

Hello all.
I want to unlock my HTC one m7 bootloader (I have already done this on an other HTC one)
But when going to htcdev.com I get a warning that the website connection is not private\unsave.
Should I ignore this? Don't want to get in any trouble.

As a senior member on the site, I would think you should know your way around by now. Xda Assist is here to help navigate the site, not for support or questions.
Please see this sticky about the purpose of Assist, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2764768
Try again in your device sections Q&A. :good:
Good luck!

Hey guys, I have an OPPO AX5 and for the past couple of days I've been trying to find a way to root my device with no luck, there is also no information about unlocking the bootloader either. Does anyone know any way to root this device (without bricking it) and unlock the bootloader, I really want to get a custom ROM on here as the version of Coloros it has is terrible. Some help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
Hey have you had any luck with unlocking the bootloader/root as i have a firehose file for the oppo ax5
