[Completed] [Q] SDCard access problem - XDA Assist

Hello XDA Devs!
I have recently bought a DOOGEE DG310 and i have a problem. I searched on the forum and on google but got no answer.
I installed Complete Linux Installer but I can't start debian or any other OS. It says: Image file not found. I confirm that the file is there with ES File Explorer. The path is mnt/sdcard2/debian/debian.img I also tried other places like storage/sdcard1/debian/debian.img and many others, includind internal and external (sdcard) memory.
Interestingly, I noticed something weird. In terminal emulator, I can browse to the file BUT, when i become root with su command, I can't see the entire sdcard/internal memory. I am running android 4.4.2 rooted (with SuperSU)
Any suggestions?

Please post in [Ask Any Question][Newbie Friendly] so that the right experts may be of help.
I'd think, the sdcard2 in the path is not what it'd expect. Try identifying path through /storage folder to your file.

I fixed it. If you have the same problem, here's how I did it:
First I installed latest version of supersu (2.25 beta in my case). It did work one time but the problem got back in no time Then i found solution: in supersu APP there is an option you must disable for many root apps to work. You must disable separate mounting points!

[Completed] Link2SD app links lost after reboot BUT second partition is mounted correctly

Hello XDA, I hope you can help me with this issue that is driving me crazy. Before you redirect to the search bar I must tell you I searched in all the threads with similar topics for a fix to no avail, all of them had as common denominator not being able to mount the second partition on reboot, which is not my case.
Followed instructions on: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1614700
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini GT-I9091, Android 4.2.2 Stock ROM Rooted.
Second partion: Ext2 2GB
Link2SD paid version
After I create a link for an app (checking all 4 options), once I reboot the device, the apps simply "dissapear": no icon inside app cage, Link2SD doesn't displays them within external, linked or internal apps, and If I choose the option: Clear second partition, Link2SD will identify all the app's files that I tried to link and tell me they are not relevant!! For some reason, two apps DID link successfully and remained like that after rebooting, but I did nothing different to this two apps compared to the others: QuickOffice and BCC news. On boot, the displays shows no notification or warning about not being able to mount the second partition and the mount script creation showed no issues. What on earth could be causing this? Any support is really appreciated!
Hi!
All the detail you've provided is awesome!!
But you will need to ask in their Xda thread. Found here...

[Completed] [Q] HTC One M9 - Root apps won't work (root available)

Device: HTC One (M9)
I tried to root my smartphone including unlocking bootloader and so on...
I used the tutorial linked down below.
https://youtu.be/rOHN8byHAzk
I had no issue during the process. The only thing that didn't work was the recovery of the file "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip". Therefor I used the beta file (BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip) and with that it worked!
After recovering with the beta file i had the app SuperUS pre installed. I used the app "Root Checker Basic" to verify that the root access is available and it was!
After that I started to install further root apps like "Emoji Switcher" for instance. I realised that the root apps didn't work. They had access and there were no errors by executing the apps or executing the action but it simply noting happend, even after restarting and as well after recovering the phone again.
Does anyone have a conclusion? Would appreciate any help!
A small thing is also.. I noticed that by downloading apps from the play store (multiple downloads) it sometimes happens that the error 923 pops up. A restart of the device helped for a while.
My last try was to reset the phone. After that the app syncing worked fluently but the root apps still didn't work.
Thanks and kind regards

[Completed] Cannot find files to flash in CWM or TWRP

Hello, I have just recently received a second lenovo k3 note phone, the first one I was able to root and install a custom recovery and rom using Jin Lins guide on youtube using king root and flashify without any issues:
The second phone I have received has given me a few problems. At first I tried the same simple guide above, but as I opened the file browser software to install flashify and king root, all the file explorers gave me errors that they couldn't find an application to open the apk files etc.
I then decided to install custom recovery and root the phone through the more traditional super SU guide by root junky on youtube.
Everything worked fine, I rebooted into CWM, I went into the install from zip option, here I was supposed to find the super SU zip that I had placed in the internal storage of my phone, but I didn't find it and CWM kept giving me a can't mount SD card error.
I then decided to try TWRP instead by flashing it img file through command line, and again, when I goto the install section, it lists a bunch of folders but I cannot find the rom and super SU zip files I had uploaded to the internal storage which are visible through file explorer. When I try and back up the device, I recieve various can't mount errors of storage and sd card. Also I actually ended up running the application check root and it seems the phone might already have been rooted.
The native software on the Chinese phone is horrible and I would love to use some faster stock rom, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have screen shots but XDA won't let me post them so early.

[Completed] Deleted all my .odex files in system root folder. No Boot, No recovery.

I've already posted this in another part of the forum, but I really need to figure out whether this is a fixable issue or not so i know whether or not to get a new phone... any help would be much appreciated!
It started with me half-assed reading the below post, and then horribly executing what i thought i had read...

So (and i know, i messed up) I Deleted all of .odex files with fx root explorer in the main system root folder(stupid!)… phone now starts to boot and gets stuck on android screen and stays there.
So far no recovery options will come up (have tried all start-up button combinations)
And all attempts to connect via usb have failed.
I do have proper drivers installed (installed from lg website)
And I have tried doing a hard reset (phone resets, android recovery robot image with open access panel on chest flashes briefly, then the phone resets again, back to square 1. does not continue to loop.)
I realize i did not follow your directions precisely, and would like to know if you can help me restore my phone, or at least tell me if i have completely ruined it?
It's an LG G Stylo from cricket.
It is rooted (via kingroot)
as mentioned, last known activity before loss of file system access was me deleting ALL .odex files found in a search of system root folder using fx root explorer.
thanks in advance for any reply you or anyone else might have

[HELP] Renamed /system/xbin, lost root, no firmware for Mstar TV

History here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-tv/android-sticks/help-how-to-root-mstar-android-tv-t3345397
Before you think, what an idiot, allow me to accept that yes I am in this case. And moving on from there:
I successfully rooted my MStar Android TV with "KingRoot4.1-release-20150703-for-xda"
After I installed busybox, the television lost it's ability to connect with WIFI but thankfully LAN is working.
I searched the internet and came to understand that busybox is the culprit. I remember it asked me to install in /system/xbin. So I thought I'd replace the /system/xbin files with a copy from another same rooted TV. I thought I should backup the current files just incase and (here comes the idiot part) I renamed the xbin folder to xbin123.
Now, I've lost root and wifi both. KingRoot won't work without WIFI for somereason and I can't su from xbin123 directory as it gives an error. I have tried setting path to the directory but that doesn't work either.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.
Please keep in mind that the TV doesn't connect with laptop via USB. And I don't have the firmware for the TV either :-/
