How to Update Tweaked ROM in Micromax A117
will we have to root the phone to update this rom, if yes tell the detailed steps to do this process as iam new to rooting and updating the new rom

i have downloded the V4_19.11.2014 from mounlsky but evertime wen i switch off nad on my a117 iam getting charged for micromax registration......
in V3 version gllery is not displaying all videos and ringtones

previously i flashed your sony xperia z3 rom after using that i came back to your stock tweaked rom v3 but the sony xpreia z3 wallpaper at the boot of the phone is still there what should i do to remove that plz reply

Hi .. I am pretty new in doing mods to Mediatek devices.. i have a xolo q3000.. i rooted it,, however when i try going into recovery mode.. the xolo logo fades and screen goes dead.. after somwtime the phone runs normally.. i have a xperia rom for my phone and i am unable to use it.. please help with the black dead screeyn and the rom thingy.

which recovery u flashed?
How u going into recovery mod?
i used get in it manually.. then msg of installation aborted comes. I used flashify the last time after which i cannot get into recovery mode, i've used droid tools to get into recovery also mobileuncle tools

just installed LegoIce Fusion v5 on my canvas 2 its truly amazing very fast and good interface, there is no lag, only one problem is that otg doesnt support is there any way, and one more thing is that there is multi window option is it just an option or it works becoz i tried it but it doesn't work, otherwise the rom is superb

Bro, the multi window option works but it only opens the app...it cannot open two apps at the same time(split view). So u can use xhalo mod for Samsung like multi window.

im trying to install custom rom on my micromax canvas 2 plus but its failed everytime showing error message as installation aborted. and i dont find install from sdcard option in recovery mode. i can able to see apply update from sd card option. I can able to install firmware upgrade through SP tool but not able to install any custom rom. Kindly help to me install the same with correct recovery.img file and step by step guide to install the same.. ive searched several blog and youtube videos. nothing is working for me.... i dont know where im missing.....kindly help.
note; sometimes its not entering into recovery mode...it jus goes to reboot again and again so im everytime installing my stock rom to avoid this using sp flash tool

i changed the rom to suvi ROM series 4.2x and now everything is working fine just little lags in games but its OK
if possible then suggest some lag free ROM

And if you want a bug free and lag free ROM then try VIP ROM by pradeepmaddy.
It is capable of playing high end games too....
try it once...

Wifi Not Working
Wifi is not properly working as well as low speaker phone voice...gps switch not working properly.. while changing language it doesn't switch to other language it needs restart.... these are some bugs which i found..apart from this this is best ROM...

Patch is not working

I tried V2 Patch 2 times but it is not working and always give installation aborted error. Please fix this so that we can enjoy this rom.

First of all i would like to thank rohit for this awesome rom and ui ....
But i am facing some bugs those are as follows:
1) Dolby plus will not start it will show up like unfortunately, dolby has stopped.
2) R- settings is not at all working for ex: I will check on the ram progress bar after i close the settings it will be automatically unchecked.
Apart from these i am not facing any problem so, kindly reply asap and fix the above bugs. once again thank you .

First of all its not my ROM...
And second you should repartition ur system and then flash the rom...
There is a thread for repartition your system partition by Faiz. You should use the method before installing this ROM...

DO U HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF CWM. IF U DONT THEN FLASH THE LATEST (6.0.50)THEN FLASH THE ROM.:good:

Copy system/lib/libcameracustom.so from any other 4.2.2 ROM and paste it in your system. Set permissions and reboot.

Great ROM. Have only one issue for me!
This ROM can be named as the best rom I've ever used on this device in terms of performance and looks. Gives a decent battery life and when clocked carefully, will give you awesome performance as well! The Xperia launcher is better than the epic launcher in my opinion. Inbuilt Greenify donation pack is a gem! Thank you developers for adding the donation pack.
The only issue I face is when trying to play videos on YouTube via the YouTube app (browser plays YouTube videos well)
The videos lag and only the sound plays on even after the full video is buffered! Please try to provide a patch for this issue. Except that, this ROM is excellent. Thanks a lot for the devs for an awesome Lollipop experience in our A110.
