Neither Bluetooth or GPS worked. But I was able to look around: homescreen, settings, setting a new wallpaper.
I hope to see the first CM 11 nightlies next week!
4.4.1 aosp or cm would be a great christmas gift for us all

Quick/smooth, I couldn't extensively test the performance since I didn't have access to Internet or Play Store
I just compiled it quick on my Ubuntu VM and put the ZIP on my phone and tried it quickly before leaving.

No, omni will possibly be official in future. They already merged needed patches for our device and i9082. But the frameworks patch can't be included in their sources, so I need a native vibration fix first

aha!! so after a while we have to change cm11 to omni rom in case we want to "follow" the cool? (with the term "in future" i meant that sometime you would stop support the cm11 building ) right?

Precisely what happening here. Everyone releasing their own version of ROM and each of them has some or other problem. It would be a lot better if developers come together to release a single stable ROM that can take MIUI7 down for good.

Before the blaming games begin you need to understand that developers are only one part of the equation. The users not providing logs for errors is the other part. If you have users regularly providing logs for errors, most of the problems would have already been solved.
dont forget the developers arent working with the updated sources they need. Its quite amazing that we even have developers who still work on this device despite xiaomi not releasing these sources.

You can try the cyanogenmod threads that you have here, depending on the branch. But its likely that there will be no fix available since most of the users choose not to send logs. So if you have issues with the port, getting logs is imperative. a lot of the developers don't have the phone to develop with although they do(help with our phone) so because the system is similar to the ones that they use.

Oh, ok then. Thanks anyway.
I'm having this on my Nexus4 and it's a great Nougat experience.
Unfortunately, i have zero knowledge on how to port this to OPO or any other device.

Would help testing such ROM if a dev picks it up.

Obviously I'm not expecting one to one port of code.
But I'm guessing the NitrogenOS rom branches can be mixed with the OPO device branches so to make that rom ported.
Just like other ROMs, right?
Simply I never done that and none of the 'build yourself' guides i tried worked out for me.

Would like very much to see the manifest and changes you've done to make it happen.
I tried some stuff myself but failed to get it to build for bacon.
II want to move from Android 6.0.1 to Android 7.1 Nougat on my Oneplus One and before I wanted to know what ROM I recommend, since I have read that the most famous are RR Resurrection Remix, TugaPower and CM official. I am interested in the battery and the camera above all.
Resurrection is awesome...try it and see for yourself.
but best judge for any ROM is You Yourself. so try yourself .
All these developers are greatest for OPO, so all are bestest of best, so its you who has the deciding edge to run what .....

Omni7. Just pure awesomeness!!!
There's a test build in g+ but it is a solid build with great battery life, great camera and many great features!
So much looking forward for Omni7 nightlies!
I'm on CM14.1 and it's really smooth and stable so far.
I didn't test other ROMs, but this one is good.
My only complaint with Nougat is that there is no Xposed Framework yet, so I can't use Amplify and my battery is a little worse. Still decent though.
14.1 is nightly built, right?
am on 13.0, should I go for nightly built?
sorry just got this Oneplus One hands down from a friend, still new to CM. its on 13.0 SNAPSHOT but with TWRP recovery, is it normal? should I gets back to stock recovery before flashing 14.1 nightly or what should I do?
again newbie on this, afraid doing something wrong and brick the phone,
tia and more power
