Sensation s-on with white screen & htc logo

Hi experts
I ´ve been reading a lot before writting here but I can´t find a solution for my problem. I still stuck in a white screen with HTL logo.
I am S-ON with I know is a problem, PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-ON RL, HBOOT 1.27.000, UNLOCKED, ...
I´ve got ClockWorkMod Recovery and really....don´t know what else I can do....
I hope you can please please please help me.

It happend to me aswell when I wanted to flash an ICS rom over a GB rom. I learned that i had to flash the ICS 3.32 firmware before the rom. I did just that and now it working better then ever. Go to www.senseomaniac.mobi. The firmeware and ICS roms are there. So easy to install. There is sense 4 roms aswell.

My sensation is also S-ON. I think ultimate solution is to flash boot.img of the rom you are installing using fastboot but you should flash 4EXT recovery. and select ENABLE SMART-FLASH before you start installing any rom. This will automatically write boot.img file from ROM and you need not flash boot.img file while installing rom.

Your problem is clearly visible and the solution is pretty straight forward too
(which I've linked before)
Now I'll briefly explain the steps..
First flash the rom you want from Recovery (also keep a copy of rom zip file in pc)
Then go to bootloader and connect your device to pc
Open the rom zip file from pc.. Extract and Copy the boot.img (generally in kernel folder of the zip) to your adb/fastboot folder
Then open command prompt from the adb/fastboot folder ( if windows hold shift + right click - open command window here)
Then type this
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then reboot using
fastboot reboot
If it still not resolved let me know

Copy the rom zip file to your sdcard (do it via card reader) then insert sdcard card and boot to recovery.. There
Select install from sdcard.. And select the rom zip file.. That will install the rom
Edit: or follow the guide I've linked in my first post of this thread completely to the letter..
Then do the rest as explained earlier

Follow the flashing roms with S-ON guide, also its best to change your recovery to 4EXT

no not from recovery but from bootloader ..and read the guide ive linked you ..its targeted for noobs ..you have difficulties in understanding basic terms so i suggest you to follow the guide ive linked

Hello there,
I've had the same problem with my Sensation after Flashing the Elegancia ICS Sense4 ROM.
How i fixed it:
Go to Bootloader -->Recovery (I use ""recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.0.9-pyramid.img""
Then Wipe cache and system.
Flash your ROM, but dont change any settings there (if there is a option to wipe data, press "NO")
Thats how it worked with my device.
Otherwise install the firmware you need for your ROM.

just follow this guide and flash a new rom ..everything explained there in detail ..just follow that and let me know if you are still failing to boot after flashing a rom according to that guide

Untill here everything is fine. I already have 4EXT Recovery!
I check as the guide says the firmware in CMD and is: (bootloader) version-main: 3.32.162.11
But when arrive to this step and try to install SUPERWIPE then 4EXT says:
Installing: /sdcard/Android_Revolution_HD_Super_Wipe_sensation.zip
Finding update package…
Opening update package…
E:Can´t open /sdcard/Android_Revolution_HD_Super_Wipe_sensation.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted.
I download this from: http://goo.gl/jmi4r as the guide says.
To let you know right now I´ve in my SDCARD this:
A folder called 4ext with 4 files: 4ext.prop, config, theme.prop and version

Bad download of superwipe zip.. Re download it again.. Or just use inbuilt 4EXT wipe ( 4EXT - > wipe | format - > format all partitions except sdcard) instead of superwipe

Follow through the steps and when it asks you to install a custom kernel it would be preferable to select YES, when Installing stock Kernel it is possible you will have Wifi problems. (see Step 3)

If during boot you are stuck on the white HTC screen, perform step Extra 1 and your problem should be resolved.

_Now it chage!....It starts with the white Screen with the logo...few seconds...then restart...again the white screen with logo and starts 4EXT...
So something´s better is´nt it?
But what´s the nextr step?

EDIT: MAybe I have to choose another boot.img from some other kernel even when it was the one I choose in the ROM installation?

[Q] miui v4 installation failed. help or advices please.

in first sorry for my three year old children english.
my problem:
i had miui v4 official french rom running on my DS. i tried to upgrade it to 3.2.1 version.
instalation is ok but when i reboot after the HTC logo my phone reboot in recovery.
i had hboot 2.00.2002 so i decided to change for 7.00.1002 with the same issue.
Now, after a lot of reading in this forum and other, my bootloader is:
locked
saga pvt eng s-off rl (so normally i don't have to flash boot.img after the rom but i tried it with the same issue)
Hboot-7.00.2002 (pg8810000)
Radio-3831.17.00.310
eMMc-boot

Just in case for information, after this issue, if i re-install my current version 2.9.11 i have the same issue like as if i restore my backup. the only one solution i found to have my phone weak up propertly is format all partiton exept sd, then re-install 2.9.11, then restore my backup.
if i type:

my phone say: ....sony....... ...blablablasony .... (so i think i have a sony panel)
i tried to install jelly time rom whith success that confirm me i have a sony panel i think.
so, i need your help to find a solution with this miui update.
last i tried to install the same version but download on miuiandroid - miui.com and miui.us with the same issue.
if any have a idea...

Have you tried to full wipe your partitions and then install the 3.2.1 Miui? I had no issue doing that. Probably you can't flash the 3.2.1 version on the 2.9.11 since they are very far in time one another.
I don't get why you have a "locked" bootloader and still S-OFF, but since you are able to flash roms I would say it isn't an issue.

dnt use CWM recovery ,, use 4ext recovery , and full wipe , then install miui , it should work 99.88 percent!

Sorry i tried cmw (because it is in the tuto for install miui) with no sucess but i always used 4ext touch lastest version

[Q] Porblem with Sensation XE

I tried to install new rom for my device for the first time
first i unlocked bootloader from HTC site.
and i use this recovery : Recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-pyramid.img.
then tried to install this rom : Sensation_Android_4.0.4_Sense_4.1_Firmware_v1.6.0
after i did this steps the device didn't open , after power on it stay on HTC logo and don't open
and i can't do anything
please any help to open my device

Hi,
Look HERE
In a nutshell,you need to install 4 EXT recovery .
In recovery go to wipe,and use the "Format all partitions except sd card"
Then use the "Smartflash" just before flashing the ROM.

the only thing i can tell you is download the latest version of 4ext and then flash again the rom
otherwise redownload the rom

i have redownload rom, updated recovery and nothing helps what else can i do ?

try to wipe dalvik + cache from recovery

i was whiping everything already ... its the first time when i have that error since i have my first htc g1

damn... the same problem after flashing from fresh sdcard
have no idea what can slove it ... someone writes that reflashing boot.img can help but how

the command is fastboot flash boot boot.img
connect the device in your pc and put it in fastboot mode
put the boot.img of the rom in your adb and fastboot folder
in that folder open a cmd and type the command i wrote above

The boot.img is located inside the rom zip

shi** it doesnt work is there any way to replace that process (dialer/phone) ? maybe this will fix my problem
phyramide is working fine without simcard or in a airplane mode

all vipers rooms on my phyramide have the same problem all the time maybe firmware can be bad ?

did you try other roms except vipers's one?

yep, other roms works fine, only the vipers have problem
few weeks ago i have a vipers room and it works corectly then i have to flash stock rom (RUU). after that i want to flash vipers rom again and i have that crash ... its annoying...

give it a try again
flash a ruu.exe and then come back for any viperS rom
note: no need to return to S-ON

I have a HTC one S S4
i started like this

then i followed the instructions on thislink http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2445392 hoping to get to android 4.2.2 everything was going ok i had the error 90 i reflash at the end i couldent continue cause my internal sd was 48 mb i searched for how to fix that problem and i tried to do the operations of yooouuri in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45621060#post45621060 whit no result, then i decided to do very smartly a wipe off all on the phone dont ask me what i was thinking it was going to happen the good news that i didnt do at all a backup whit TRWP TWRP_2.6.1.0_ville_4.2.2 now i am stuckt i dunno what to do i cant find a RUU that works
any suggestion?

Try to install the TWRP version from my signature. It enables storage mounting for hboot 2.16 in recovery mode. Be sure that you use the dm version. Maybe then you regain your storage and a new rom can be flashed. Otherwise follow the instructions here or here for downgrading to hboot 2.15. It's not the fastest way for downgrading but it's safe if you follow the instructions.
