[APP][4.0+] A better password tool - Android Apps and Games

Hello All,
I just released yet another password management tool, but with some good features, including:
- Automatic synchronization (using your Google Drive space. This is the main reason I started to build it at all!)
- Password auto generation (The second reason I started to build it!)
- 256-bits AES encryption
- Material theme, running through 4.0 to 5.0 (immersive status bar requires 4.4+)
- Data import and export (Can import aWallet CSV file)
- Categories to group your data
- Light and Dark themes at your disposal.
- Auto lock on entering background, if you set it in settings.
I cannot post a link yet, so here is a shortened URL of play store: goo.gl/ep5h8K
Thank you very much for sharing any comments/feedbacks.

[APP][WIDGET][2.2+]Network Host Monitor

Network Host Monitor is a tool to monitor availability of servers, routers, sites, blogs, etc. You just need to specify the address (URL or IP), set the type (Ping, GET) and the interval for checking.
This application supports various check types: TCP Ping and ICMP Echo, HTTP Get and running custom remote scripts. In last case tool can check answer for a specified word or phrase. HTTP Head request (for code 200) also supported.
Host Monitor interface supports notifications, widget, sound and LED indication. You can specify alert condition - e.g. always, or only if errors, or if status changed, etc. App can save, show and export logs in various formats, and provides statistics feature.
Tool interface supports both phone and tablet modes. You can set preferred layout mode in preferences.
List of major features:
Checking through host resolve, console ping, HTTP GET or HEAD requests
Customizable notifications, and rich preferences/settings

Hello. Thank you for bug report. Can you send the link which you tried to download?
Needs a dark theme option and yes torrent + magnet link imports from browsers such as Firefox Nightly needs fixing. Have to shutdown the client 1st before tapping to fetch. As for the rest of the minimal settings approach, +10 points to the dev good job keep it up.

I ca't change download location to SD card, I get error. "Unable to use selected folder"
Promising. I'll keep watching this thread but for now I'll stick with Zeta Torrent.
You guys use jlibtorrent, right?
it's worth adding that all these features are made possible by the BitTorrent open source library JLibtorrent (a wrapper of libtorrent), created and maintained by the FrostWire team, which also contributes weekly to libtorrent
Cheers.
Nice app.
replaced utorrent with this :good:

I can add search engine using a list of known trackers, but since there is a problem with tracker blocks in some countries, this becomes quite problematic.
Would it be possible for this to work without using WebView ? Now it will just crash without it.

I have two ideas about streaming support: make it universal for any file formats, or specialized for video with subtitles (in fact the app will itself determine these files in the torrent). Seems to work well.

This is my first Android app and my first larger programming project in a while so the code might be a little bad right now. I appreciate every tip/fix I can get, so any developer with more experience can feel free to look at the code and criticize me

Sadly not, OTP Authenticator has no backup function (as far as I know) and stores the accounts in the same encrypted way that andOTP uses. So you can't access the data outside of the app.
But I will look into it again next week, maybe there is some way I'm not seeing yet.
v0.2.3
New version up: 0.2.3
See the 2nd post for the changes.
Its Simple smooth good looking and open source. :fingers-crossed:
Good job friend . :good:
Hello,
I have a problem with the app.
It was recommended to me by a friend yesterday. I like the idea of a backup option, so I tried the software.
Everything seemed to work so I switched all my 2FA´s to this app and created a backup.
Today I open die app and nothing is shown.
Had a similar problem yesterday, but after hitting the back button all entrys were shown.
Now hitting the back button ends the app.
Restoring the backup doesn´t help either. List seems empty.
Any ideas how to fix this issue?
This would be quite annoying and really problematic if I´d be unable to fix this.
Thanks in advance.
System:
LG G4 - LinageOS 14.1 - Android 7.1.2
andOTP installed via google play store
Suggestion to allow users to assign images to each account, or put them in categories or maybe a find function for those people that have a lot of accounts that support otp. Its easier to quickly browse through images and recall what account the image is associated to instead of looking through account names which can be tedious when managing a high number of accounts.

Could you head over to GitHub and post a logcat there: https://github.com/flocke/andOTP/issues/16
It seems like there are a few people with that issue but I was unable to reproduce it myself so far.

It's already requested here: https://github.com/flocke/andOTP/issues/14
Since it will take some work to implement this properly and it's not a feature necessary for the app to work properly it is very low on my priority list. A search function already exists, just hit the search icon in the toolbar.
Great work, thank you!
Hello
thankyou for this wonderful app,i've been searching for a opensource two-factor authentication app and i found this
i've a doubt what is openkeychain chain used for? is it for encrypted backups? if so will it backup to my Gdrive? or locally? and how to do encrypted backups?
thankyou
@nick1467 As you expected, OpenKeychain can be used to encrypt the backups. There are three backup methods: plaintext, password protected (AES encryption) and enceypted with OpenPGP (using OpenKeychain).
The backups are all local, if you want them on GDrive you have to manually synchronize them.
Hi,
I didn't know that this app has a thread. Just coming to say thank you. Working just fine for me!!!
So if I understand the warning right, the encrypted backups can only be restored to the same phone or if I get a new phone I can restore with the encrypted backups?

Adaptive icons
Hey everybody!
Your opinion is needed for re-working the current icon to support the new Adaptive Icons introduced in Android 8.0!
Please head over to GitHub and submit your vote on this poll: https://github.com/flocke/andOTP/issues/65
Just some small teasers for the next release
Thanks to @RichyHBM for implementing this.
I tried to import my JSON backup (from FreeOTP+ app) but nothing happens.
What's wrong?

Why Fennec?
Well, everything is simple here, this is my favorite animal, probably you like it. ^_^
But only my paws can't draw, and I don't have a graphic tablet yet, but at least I try.
I hope that you do not delete the application because of several of my drawings. Or delete? Then write, I will not be offended.
Fenneky — application mascot, also Fennec, there are no specific drawings of him yet, but if you have free time and desire you can draw and publish it in this thread under the spoiler,
any ideas are accepted, all your drawings will be collected in one post, of course with your nicknames. Perhaps some will be added to the app.
I understand that the application is not popular, perhaps no one will do this at all, but I will write just in case.
If you have read to here, you are well done! And here is a picture of the present (from Google):

Yes, Android Q has old storage restrictions.
New (Scoped Storage) will be in Android R. The application may need multiple permissions to access memory. It is possible. (This is according to the documentation, in practice it will not be possible to test it yet, only next year.)

This is fantastic, I love foxes and the program works nicely. Please continue to develop, fellow fox friend.
More fennekky!
Thank you, KitsuneFoxy! I have some ideas about it and want to make more applications. But so far there is no motivation to do this. But I will continue to support this application for as long as I can. I would like more activity and suggestions from users, so that I can devote more time to this. Thanks for your support!

You're very welcome for the support! Its a nice easy program to use with big icons.
Well, I do have one issue with fennekky
It says it can't find root, though it has permissions to do so in magisk. Total commander works finding root, (i did a test)
I understand that without important input from others its not going to help with the development.
I also would like to suggest that it could be possible for it to have an auto discovery mode for devices on the network. If it doesn't already have that feature! Perhaps the ability to send files to a network printer for printing?
Perhaps the ability to create different file types. I also always like to easily copy paste, the toolbar that comes up is nice, perhaps add create new folder or file onto that tool bar.
You could perhaps add a small popup on start asking the user for feedback and suggestions here too, instead of just google play.
