Hi i would appreciate if someone could help me asap!
Firstly, i've tried 2 methods to root my optimus 4X hd running 4.1.2 JB, but to no avail
The first method i've tried is from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2180688
the problem is when i double click the ROOT.bat file, nothing happens. the command thing pops up for less than a second saying
: adb is not recognised as an internal or external command...
The second method i've tried is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818502
After installing the systembackuptest app, when i open it, the app just force closes saying 'Unfortunately, Systembackuptest has stopped.'
Please help me im really new at this and would appreciate step by step guide. thanks

Make sure to install the current LG drivers on your PC, and make sure debugging is turned on as well.

Yes I've done both of that. I've followed the instructions step by step. Could it be possibly because of my software version? Will it work if I restore my phone to factory settings
Anyone have any clue?
I have the same problem can somebody solve this?

Sorted now... this is what worked for me
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2180688
Hey guys, I havent posted on here for a very long time because I've always been able to save my own a** by reading this forum but now I really am stuck and cannot get my phone to turn on!
I flashed a clean rom and it worked for a couple days. Then I restarted the phone and now its in a bootloop! After that I tried to flash the primatygpt.img and that put me in a fastboot lock. so I flashed all the other IMG files associated with the d800 10d (http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/D800/Stock_Firmware/10d_partitions) version and I got it out of fastboot mode. Now Im stuck in download mode and cannot go anywhere else! If I try to use th LG Flashing tool, it fails after 15 seconds and I cannot get back into fastboot to flash another IMG or any IMG for that matter. Did I permanently brick my phone?
Please anyone help me!
Phone Is AT&T LG G2 D800
Thanks!
Update
Just an update,
the LG Flash Tool keeps giving me ERROR: laf Partition has Changed
I think I really screwed up and I dont know how to partition it back to how it was. its a 32 GB D800.
Can anyone please help me! my phone is in download mode and i cannot get it out. i can restart the phone. the lg logo comes up and then goes straight into download mode. Please, Im desperate. i am without a phone and have been at it all morning til now.
Please anyone! ive searched up and down this entire forum and found nothing. Ive even sesarched google and other forums but nothing seems to work and ive followed the instructions on how to return to stock step by step to no avail!
I can get into the stock recovery but when i hit reset, it takes me right back to download mode.

lg g2
i have same problem like you
In the same boat....
I have the same issue...possible fix via dd commands while in ubuntu...sadly not familar with the phones partitions or the commands to restore Laf to the correct partition. Been digging around on xda for related material. So we need to find out the mapping of the partitions for the LG G2 then we can assess this partition error.
did you get this fixed? im in same boat.
Did you fixed this problem ?
Did you fixed this problem ? I encountered the same error as you. I can not do anything in Download mode. Could you provide some hints or solution?

I was stuck myself in download mode, but just follow these steps on the thread and you'll be fine. I had a few failed attempts until it was able to
boot back to stock.

Well I don't know exactly how to for your device, but in general it is the procedure

If you actually read my post, assuming you DIDN'T, I DID this and it DOESN'T FULLY remove the root (still says rooted in restore boot menu, about phone, and download boot menu)
Flasher
I used the LG flasher (RD tool/uptestex) and it stops at 2% with type param error, then i tried the lg tool from THEIR website and it freezes it's DLing new software, in Firmware Update for all of these (+ button when booting) and I have triple checked I have all the drivers etc.
So i tried the one click root method, and now my phone is stuck at the lg loading screen, is it possible if anyone can get me the stock rom for the lg h443, or possibly one that will work.

Hello everyone,
´
I tried installing Kingo Root on my radio - after finishing with "rooting" the device, it rebooted. Now it is stuck at booting logo.
What to do?
I've tried booting to recovery and resetting everything.. Didn't work, but I can't seem to find a simple and specific guide on how to fix this either!
Please, please help. All I wanted was to root the device and install Malaysk in the hopes of getting better bluetooth sound quality.........
thanks in advance...

You didn't need to root your device first. Simply flashing Malaysk would have provided you with a rooted ROM.
If you can get to recovery now, I would just suggest doing a wipe-all and flash Malaysk.
Thanks but I found out myself. I did what you suggested though - and it worked. So all is good.
