I have a Sony Xperia Tipo which i bought in feb 2013.. but for past couple of months, its performance has detroriated considerably. so i need a way to root the phone..plz help

Am using Sony Xperia J since Feb 2013....and after updating to JellyBean xperia J keeps on crashing randomly.....while talking on call it crashes...while charging it crashes.....while browsing it crashes etc..etc...it crashes 4 to 5 times a day.....pls suggest any solution if there are any....thanks in Advance....
Anyone has tried this solutions to use leds? It's for xperia U, but i think it can be user on xperia J too
