I can't find clear answer. I've got D838 16gb version and software D83810d-HKG-XX.
Do I can install firmware from e.g. Singapore version on my phone? Is there any hardware reason to don't do this (and I'm not talking about 16gb vs 32gb or model worth TV tuner&antenna and model without - F350 vs D383?).
Do someone checked it by yourself? Or everyone scare about it? Please give me the answer, bcoz I want to do this, but from other side want to be sure it's near safe.
BDW, towelroor not working, any a advice, again?

Hi to everyone,
A friend of mine is travelling to the USA in a few days, and I will ask him to bring me an unlocked Moto G. Now my questions are:
1) Which are the diferences between the US and the International versions in regards to the software updates?
2) Does the US celullar version receives the android update before the International one ?
3) If I bought the international version, would I still be able to flash the GPE rom in it ?
Thank you in advance
1) I think none
2) I think so
3) You should be able to do this with xt1032 and xt1033 with The others im not sure.

Get the "Global" (XT1032) model.
Seems both the retail "US" and "Global" models sold in the USA get their updates at the same time.
"US Cellular" is the name of an American carrier, be careful not to mix things up.
The GPE is an XT1032 and there are conversion guides on here for that exact purpose.
Thank you both, you have clarified me lots of things. now I know which exact model I should ask my friend to bring me. Thank you again.
Cheers

I'm looking to get a G Flex 2 and both models are same priced at the moment, looking towards the H950 more as it has more ram and storage memory but I saw the H959 is getting the updates more faster just in case.
So which model do you guys suggest?
Thanks
H950 because 3GB RAM.
H955-Always International model is better (may have official bootloader unlock from LG) and more devs working on it
H950-A extra gig of RAM but ATT...Spyware,Bloatware,No TOT, I have this model because the price but i don't recommend it
H959-2Gb Ram/32Gb Memory Maybe a good option I don't know
isn't it possible to remove all bloatware by flashing new rom on H959 through KDZ?
isn't it possible to remove all bloatware by flashing new rom on H959 through KDZ?
Im considering about overall details as 4G signal type / Android Updates or any other details.
thank you
nothing special on both we have 4G, updates maybe soon we get Marshmallow and the best in this list by specs is H959 because they have 3GB Ram & 32 internal storage, H955 only have 2GB of RAM and 16/32 internal storage (market depending)...F510 i dont have sure but is the same of H959 but Korean model, nothing more!

really are confuse for have a lot of variations, i seach more about this and i see H955 is only 2GB of RAM PERIOD but see some websites saying it have 32 internal storage! ???
F510 from what i see have 2 variations: 2/3GB RAm and 16/32 internal storage.
H959 with 2/3GB RAM and only 32 internal.
search well what you want...there all the same, all have Snapdragon 810, all have 4G, are exactly the same specs, only differences is the RAM and internal storage.
i share your confusion in determining which is which as i am having an issue with Flex 2 its H955 32GB 2GB and i cant find the proper KDZ all i can find is 16GB 2GB KDZ if you have any updates please tell me

go to: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?firmware=1
and search your firmware by IMEI and i am sure you will find it there.
i did try your recommendation my imei gives wrong model H959 and when i flash the result kdz i get 32GB without Network connectivity
IMHO, it's all depend on where are you using the phone. There are many different variants even the same model #. And only US AT&T H950 have 3 GB RAM. My H959 which I got is TWN variant and 32 GB 2 GB using in US TMO. So only getting H+ no 4G LTE which I mainly using WiFi. I chose this model because I don't want the hassle of AT&T getting the firmware updates and I want the Flamingo Red. Rooting and KDZ back to stock is easy for this variant.

15c is the latest version for the 955 international, for unknow reasons swiss had an upgrade to 15e but there are no changelog nor new features, you dont need to worry, and android 6 seems finally on his way to us so just wait for the major update
@superdioz you are wrong, I have 955 International and i have v15e.
@CoolCid, follow this guide to update your H955 with KDZ method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=59019689 and here's v15e KDZ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=65332622

sorry, not only swiss but also poland an maybe other countries but most of us have 15c, you can check yourself the latest versione for your specific phone (using your imei):
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=YOUR_IMEI_HERE
V15e is for Switzerland, but H955 is International model so it's no problem. You are right, you can't update your phone with update center, but you can flash v15e Switzerland

yes, my point was that 15c and 15e haven't major differences so dont make sense for a newbie to mess up flashing a "wrong" version since MM is coming soon (hopefully)

oh ok, i was assuming that because poland gets updates before all other countries and i remeber someone around the forum getting 15e in another county than swiss
Hi folks,
could anybody tell me whether there is a Dual SIM version of Moto Z4 and if yes, where I can buy it? Thanks!

There is NOT one. Only single SIM variants in USA and Canada
Do you know whether there's a Chinese Z4 version like for Z3 (without "Play")? Z3 for US market is only Single SIM, but Chinese version is Dual SIM (with even more RAM). Maybe, it's the same with Z4...?
I've checked but there doesn't appear to be a Chinese version
