Why does it need Internet connection and my location? Looks suspicious.

I would have purchased the pro version, but the permissions it asks for include location and full internet access.
Sorry, I don't buy programs that ask for those permissions.
If you will remove the crapware and malware from the pro version, I'd be happy to buy it.

Hm...I can't see the video here at work, but I'd still rather have a version that didn't have all that stuff. I'd be happier with just allowing the app to save the files someplace that a dedicated app can get to it for doing those functions.
Guess I've become a minimalist after having to fix my wife's phone so many times. I no longer like apps that appear to require more permissions than are obviously necessary to accomplish the task. This looks like it might be a great app, and I'd be happy to pay the cash for it, but only if it's an offline app that saves files locally for other, dedicated apps to synchronize with whatever service you desire.

Okay, update: I had a friend check the video. It looks to him like the author is using a Chinese-language phone.
I'm a security professional. Perhaps you didn't read about the Android Trojans that have been found on Chinese apps last week by Lookout. Also perhaps you don't know that China has a cyber-warfare unit that actively attempts to compromise systems in other countries. Heck, look at what they did to Google!
Again, sorry, but I'm not going to put an app on my phone that's asking for all of those permissions.
Dev, I'm sure that you've put a lot of time and effort into your app. I'd love to purchase it, if you'll put out a version that doesn't ask for those other permissions, so that I'd feel safe in using it.

Update
Quick Note is now opensource. I have attached the source files in the below post. Just wanted yall to know i did this on my spare time which i taught myself simple coding via YouTube videos so please forgive me if my
code and logic is "messy." Was trying to implement google drive backup API for online backing and syncing across devices as well as material design. Once again thanks for all the support and again forgive me for all the "coding hacks and ratches" and hope you guys can make this something great.

Great App
Hey man this app is really simple. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of others but this app does what it says a simple quick note taking app.
Just wanted to say great job and any chance of adding text styling to notes like bold italic underline and maybe some more customization features..

I've been looking for an app like this for a long time, just one request I'd really think would be awesome, don't know how complicated can it be but a widget like Any.Do where you can see the list and interact with it really would make this app perfect, sorry for my English and if I asked too much it's just an idea. Simple with modern design just miss for me the way to synchronize with Google or any other address or a cloud to retrieve easily under any different device

Hey guys thanks for all the positive feedback and suggestions and a really special thanks to whoever featured me on the xda portal thingy
As for all the suggestions i I shall implement most of these in the coming updates but the more tedious tasks such as backup to the cloud and the widget shall take some time as both school and work takes up most of my time.
Oh and it current doesn't have that s-pen support thingy, will look into that.

Ah, thank you, nice to read! I have been hesitating a lot between this and some flat design, but tried this for a change. It is harder to implement but i hope it will give the app some originality

It's seems to be a good professional expense manager application and i agree with shahonseven : "it's nicely designed" .The fact is that I'm looking an app that manage personal and professional expenses separately. Do you think it could be a next feature ?

Well, it takes some time. You need 5-6 different sizes of each background for different resolutions/dpi, same for icons, and keep in mind that devices vary too on their X/Y ratio.

Good idea to replace a browser I think, I'm using something almost similar in justsearch from fdroid. You should maybe consider adding a shortcut. For example to launch justsearch I tap and hold the power button (OnePlus feature) for a second...

I have added the ability to create widgets for the home screen. Wasn't sure if this would be needed as well. Do you feel more people will use it? Sounds like a nice thing to have.

Can you make the app as a browser provider so that any link we click online unintentionally or want to search something private( ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ), It would not go to our search history and stay private.
Also, you can make the homescreen more clean looking by moving the app settings/preferences to a 3 dot menu.
Also make the toolbars a bit smaller. They look too big on my device.

I would definitely do it. I love JustSearch so i would consider shufting to Yours completely for sure.
JustSearch works as a replacement of Google assistant.

Introduction
Sometimes I forget how long I haven't met some of my friends. And I don't want to forget that. So I've made «Friends».
«Friends» is a journal-based app. You write about your interactions with friends and app tells you how long you haven't met them. When the magic number of days passes, entries turn from grey white, which should (in my design) encourage you to interact again.

App future and contribution
As I said, «Friends» is my first android app. I want it to help people. And I have little experience in that. So I would be glad to receive help or advice on the next things.
Design
I am using an almost default android theme. It's ok for starters, but I want my app to be nice and beautiful.
Are there any good guides on mobile app design? What colour should I use instead of that bleak green? In-app animations are must, or not?
Features
Have any ideas on that else «Friends» might do to benefit users? Don't hesitate, tell me.
Wording and app name
I wrote most of the in-app text in a hurry. Sometimes better wordings come to my mind and I apply them. If some in-app text doesn't feel right for you, tell me.
Also, the name. I'm still in search of the good one. «In touch»? «Quality time»? «Call your mom»? If you have any ideas, I'm all ears.
Promotion
So far, I've shown «Friends» to my, well, friends and some corners of the runet. But I want more. My friends recommended to write at reddit, medium, dev.to and I'm planning to do so. Heard that there is such a thing as «landing page». Might do that too.
Would love to hear anything on single-handed promotion. What steps you've taken, where to go first and all that.
In search of The User
How do you think, who might benefit from my app?
Some of my polyamorous friends are enjoying it and that's sweet. I think support groups might find it useful, but am not sure. Networkers? Huge family members? Folks who need to check on their clients from time to time?
How can I connect to all these wonderful people? Are there any organizations or campaigns I might get in touch with?

Added a night mode. What do you think about it?
Also changed app icon color from bleak green to the same shade of yellow as used in app. Love the color, but now it doesn't feel connected to day mode of an app.
