No.1 MI4 Unboxing and antutu test review--xiaomi mi4 clone - Android General

No.1 brand is a Chinese brand which produces the clones of famous and hot smartphones around the world, last time, we have introduced the great Oneplus One clone, No.1 Plus, now it turns to Xiaomi mi4 clone named as No.1 Mi4. First, i was so shocked by the extremely lookalike about its apperance. We man also remember its No.1 v phone i6 as best iphone 6 clone which enjoys great popularity now. But today, let's appreciate its high performance of No.1 Mi4. Can it beat Xiaomi mi4 in apperance and functions? Times has changed, just see what have amazed us.
First, i have to admire what No.1 bring us. Because for many users, Xiaomi Mi4 is really kind of expensive that we can't afford, sometimes, i like the design of xiaomi mi4. Therefore, a new lover to copy xiaomi mi4 has been created. It's No.1 MI4. This smartphone has 5inch HD IPS screen with 1280*720pixels screen resolution. I am very satisfied with the screen resolution, letting me watch movies without limit and problem. Meanwhile, it can record 1080p video. My life has become more colorful now.
Second, when i consider and buy a smartphone, i would like to have a try a high-end chipset, NO.1 MI4 has mtk6582 quad core 1.3ghz processor, which runs faster than what i thought. But if it was powered by Octa core or it could produce Octa core version, it would be better to attract me. Anyway, there is no problem in playing games, searching the Internet and doing other Apps.
Third, for me, the internal memory is very important, if it had RAM 512MB, i would not choose this smartphone and share with you. Fortunately, it has RAM 1GB ROM 16GB, so that i can download the simple apps to enrich my smartphone. By the way, what's your favorite game right now?
Fourth, in term of dual camera, i think the overall pixels are not so bad. It supports 8MP and 5MP front camera. I love photographying, especially when i spend a holiday. I like to take out my phone to shoot the beautiful scenery, people and things in life. Because these are really my treasure in my life.
Others i think are extremely signicant is GPS function, mulit languages function and so on. Sometimes, i go to a strange road and can't find the way, then GPS plays an important role now. And it's so nice that it can support multilanguage to fix the language barrior.
In all, No.1 MI4 is an amazing smartphone to make a great breakthrough. Although it can't match Xiaomi mi4 in view of specs, the overall performance and price are able to give you a wide attention to have a good experience. Any way, action speaks louder than words.

Xiaomi Mi4 is a very good mobile phone, but I waited a month, still did not buy Xiaomi Mi4, now I nearly bought Huawei honor 6.

Meizu MX4 Real and overall review

Meizu has released its latest smartphone, Meizu MX4, and it will also announce Meizu MX4 Pro soon. But today, i would like to make a deep review about Meizu MX4 first. This smartphone has become the flaship device in the market right now. Meizu MX4 is said to be the best rival of Xiaomi MI4. As you know, Xiaomi, Meizu, Huawei, Oppo and ZTE are all Chinese famous brand. You can also share the feeling about this smartphone.
Design and apperance
Meizu MX4 packs a 1920 * 1152 Pixel SHARP JDI Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Screen , with the dimension of 5.67 x 2.96 x 0.35 inches (144 x 75.2 x 8.9 mm), From the screen size, it can be the most suitable size for us to hold. If it sported a large screen more than 5.36inch, it would increase the some unacceptable comments from users. Therefore, I like the screen size , meanwhile, i have tested the screen quality, it has also nice screen color. Which i would like to use the smartphone to wathc the videos. Hope you can have the same feeling with me.
Powerful Hardware :MTK6595 Octa Core 2.2Ghz
Meizu MX4 is the first smartphone which is powered by MTK6595 Octa Core 2.2Ghz processor, before the MTK6595 chipset came out, many manufacturers and users have predicted which brand will be the first one using MTK6595 Octa core 2.2 GHz processor, now Meizu has revealed the answer for you. About the speed, i really can't express my joy about it more. It's so fast and swift compared with MTK6592 Octa core 1.7GHz, when i play the 3D games, there is no need to wait for more than 20seconds. I can log in the games without any stop. Believe or not, just have a try.
As for the internal memory, it is not RAM 3GB but RAM 2GB, and it has two versions that one is RAM 2GB ROM 32GB, the other is RAM 2GB ROM 16gb, i am the one who is inclined to use the ROM 32GB. which has the larger storage which let me download and store numerous full high definition videos.
20.7MP Rear Camera
As for me, a cool camera is very important, Meizu MX4 has 20.7MP rear camera which is the finest camera i have ever seen compared with other smartphone. It utilizes Sony’s latest high-end Exmor RS sensor, coming in at 1/2.3″ and 20.7 megapixels this sensor not only picks up a ton of detail but it picks up a ton of light too. Although the front camera has only 2MP, the rear camera is really eye-catching. I will take more pictures about the back camera.
3100mAh Battery(Bulit-in)
Last time, you must remember THL has released the most durable battery with 5000mAh, now Meizu MX4 has also 3100mAh battery built in the smartphone. Standby in particular is absolutely amazing on the MX4, when i play the gmaes by this smartphone, it can support more than 8 hours working time. I really can't believe it.
Support 4G LTE network , GPS, and Multilanguage function
Besides those nice features, Meizu MX4 can also support multilanguage, which can beat those Lenovo smartphone without multilanguage function. And 4G LTE network let me enjoy the fast speed to search the Internet. Especially play it on subway. GPS function can help me guide my way when i have a travel, or when i shop on a strange road.
In conclusion, i love this Meizu MX4 smartphone with the good price. Hope you can also have a nice experience with me.
Well first of all I would like personally to thank you for the review. I was thinking to buy this phone and by this great review, I am more likely to buy it sooner than I thought. The thing is tho, 4G LTE network works in all European countries with all Cell phone Brands or how you call it? I mean like Vodafone, Orange, O2, Cosmote, Wind etc...? And I would like to ask something else too(since you own the phone already) does it support LED notifications? I saw a video on youtube but I am not sure if it's real or fake. Thanks in advance.
Internal phone storage
I currently have a ZTE Nubia Z5S NX503A, 32GB version. When I recieved it, I found out it had just a 2GB internal phone storage and around 24GB SD-storage. None of the storage locations are able to be physicaly removed or replaced. As a standard, Google Play Store installs apps to this internal phone storage, but this gets very quickly filled up. Anyone know how this is with the Meizu MX4 Pro?
I love meizu mx4 and pro. Planing to buy it.. Little bit concern about customs charge.. I am living India.. Did anyone already buy from India ?

As well know, except for the MEIZU MX4, Huawei Ascend Mate7 and the Xiaomi Mi4 are both the latest popular Chines mobiles, so how do you think of the three mobile phones?

New WA brand OnePlus One killer?

Hey guys,
I came across this new brand called WA on the internet. They seem to launch a new phone for just $146 with a 5.5" inch full-hd display, 1.7GHz Octa-core 64-bit processor (Mediatek) and 2GB RAM. Camera is 13 megapixels and comes from Sony. It also has full 4G support. Does anybody know more about this phone or brand because it seems that there is not a lot know about this brand outside of China. What do you guys think, a decent OnePlus alternative?
Mysterious WA smartphone
After reading about the fake antutu scores posted based on octa core tablets, I do wonder just how good this is, I have a oneplus one and absolutely love the thing, but sadly after reading about the cube talk x9 and all. The other tablets that were hard-coded to give scores that were double the truth, I do worry, I love doing business in China, so I hope this phone is the real. Deal.
I think it will be hard to beat the OnePlus as the phone is just that good. Next to that it has been extremely silent about this new device...

[Q] Chinese Budget Mid-Range phones - Help me to choose ! ;)

Hey guys,
I would like to start a discussion that would aggregate meta-data available on the Chinese budget phones under £200 with mid-range specs, firstly in order to help me ,but also others to decide the correct one as there is scarcity of reviews and lots of them are paid for stubs and contain lots of misleading data.
I have spent last two weeks researching on my leisure the best possible option for the chinese budget mid-range purchase. I have been hoping to get a device priced well under £200 that would field a solid camera, 4G (800mhz) ,superb hardware perf. CPU, GPU and GPS, have solid battery 2700mh+ (ideally with quick charge function) have appealing design and ideally max up to 5" of display size with the Lollipop upgradeability.
I have seen and read lots of reviews including yours and concluded on following:
- Mediatek did really break out of its shackles and these new 64bit SoCs ARM A53 Cortex with 6732 and 6752 are real deal breakers, so I have found a plenty of quad core 5" phones that satisfy my hunger for the performance stuffed by features - >
- Kingzone N3 Plus , Elephone P6000 (and possibly P3000s) , Lenovo P70 and also a bit more expensive Zopo ZP920 magic.
--- > now from what I have seen about these devices they are united under one oblivious problem that I cannot simply overlook despite being on low budget. And that is the overall quality of their cameras. Here we can easily conclude that they generally suck, although Zopo Zp920 is one of the favourites together with ZTE Blade S6 ,but here had battery life really swept all my hopes into oblivion. One of the issues I ve found here is that almost every budget manufacturer simply loves to overstate the resolution capability of these phones, I have been digging deeper just to find out that Elephone and Kingzone simply equip their devices with a lower quality Omnivision or Sony (ElE has even issued two different sensors for the same phone due to shortage of stock) that are really just 8Mpx interpolated to 13 MPx. I have not seen many useful reviews for N3 Plus despite it's appealing design and functions comparable to P3000s, but I assume the camera problem will be exactly the same (as it is with the alleged overstated battery capacity). Despite this problematic, I have found out that the camera on P6000 is kind of controversial.
P6000 is slacked as most of the same priced phones for underperformance in low light situations., however, I have found several contrasting reviews that even claim that its low light/night images are even better that on the famous Xiaomi Mi4. From pics I ve seen I wonder whether the varying quality can be a result of different sensors used or for example that pictures have been taken on its native 8MPx res rather then extrapolated 13MPx . I am writing this really because, P6000 seems to be after all my best choice together with its 32bit brother P3000s. I have tried to look out for some comparison between these two especially camera wise (talking about rear cameras, as I am not really that concerned about the front ones), but I failed. Problem is that Ele nor reviewers really state what sensors are these phones using. But P6000 seems (at least from some outdoors pictures) quite sharper and with better dynamic range, but I am still undecided.
Is camera on these phones also fixable software wise as I am not really into vanilla camera apps.
Now first questions on you. Firstly, do you know about any device currently priced under £200 that would match my criteria or at least that would have really exceptional camera for this price range ? Is Elephone P6000 superior to P3000s in terms of performance and camera or are they pretty much comparable ? Also how much of difference we talking in terms of GPU between Mali T450-M4 and T760 M2 ? It seems that finding a solid camera that would boast at least with pretty standard Exmor 214 sensor with a solid battery life is almost impossible, or I have largely overlooked something.
I also understand that if camera wise my 5" quest would prove unsuccessful I will have to go phablet wise and I am although kinda reluctantly to do so. Here I have researched my field on comparable level.
My finalists are Jiayu S3 , Kingzone Z1 and Eco E04 Aurora (P7000 and M1 are excluded as they re not supporting my LTE band 20) On E04 side I am quite baffled as it initially looked as a superb device , but many responses pointed out its inaccurate GPS and also camera seems to be exaggerated as 16MPx with unknown sensor model. I have seen some really great shots, but also some not very good - again probably due to extrapolation perhaps. Also it only comes with 2GB at the moment and without NFC support. So in phablet side S3 seems to be the king - yet, I have seen some really crap videos took on this devices, where reviewer admitted that this is a firmware error and that fix is on its way, so the S3 leaves me with the only really big concern and that is the battery recharge time that is apparently the slowest around here (up to 4hrs !!! ) which again made my enthusiasm cease. And then we have here Kingzone Z1. Apart from only HD display, it is stuffed with features and seems to be a direct competitor for all 5.5s of its price range. However, despite being out there are no reviews that I can hold on, so for me this device also represents a great unknown.
Equally, I have been checking camera comparison for the upper-midrange flagships like Meizu Mx4 and OnePlusOne just to find out that not even these guys despite their renown are capable of great shots under low-light conditions.
Also I am in a preference of 64bit processors especially the new Mediatek 6732 and 6752. I am ready for your tips and advices, also if you can bring in links to some camera comparisons among these phones and more in depth reviews I d be glad. Also will happy if you bring up some real data about camera sensors and other modules that are under suspicion to be lies presented by manufacturers.
And if you own any of the phones mentioned, state a brief overview about their pro/cons.
Waiting forward to your responses
Thanks

I recently discovered Xiaomi and think I will never go back! Good quality and low prices
I have RedMi Note 4G which is a fairly perfect phone for its price range. Never had a problem. It hasn't 800 MHz LTE though, but it's worth checking out other Xiaomi phones too.
---------- Post added at 01:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:03 AM ----------
Also, I would reccomend avoid mediatek devices if you can. They are generally poorer in video performance than Qualcomm / Intel ones. I had a huawei G700, while specs say it's a great phone in my experience it was not. Lags and slowness was frequent issues.
Mediatek also has a bad reputation in open source community, modding/upgrading/installing recovery and custom ROMs would be impossible or at least harder.
I am very happy with my Xiaomi and maybe you could be too!

I got a Xiaomi Mi Note (Dual Sim and dual 4G) from China recently, which is fast (3G RAM), smooth (iphone style ROM) and good quality and just a little over £200.
But please bear in mind that it only supports FDD-LTE B3/B7, which means if your carrier is Vodafone UK (I'm in the UK by the way) you can not use LTE outside of London,Manchester and Birmingham.
(I don't have permission to post an outside link yet, but if wiki 'LTE-Advanced' you can see Vodafone UK is using B20 throughout the UK and B7 in 3 cities an the moment)
Only 3 and EE use LTE B3/B7.

In the end I went with Jiyau S3 Advanced, bout £160 and I cannot complain. Flashed it into Flyme OS and man this machine rocks the socks ! The resurrection of Mediatek - this 64bit M6752 Octacore smites Snapdragon 610 with an easy apparently.
Also camerawise - Sony Exmor IMAX 214 RS really delivers the promise - Removable battery makes it a dream. After 2 weeks of research, I am only happy I did not fell for anyother device, - plus supports Band 20 /800 Mhz @4G so it's GiffGaff & O2 ready.
Xiaomi phones are pretty good in many aspects. I'm planning on getting one in the near future. Some of my friends have Xiaomi devices and so far they haven't had any complaints.

Good for you. I'm still looking for the solution to unlcok LTE B20 on my Xiaomi MI Note LTE...
This post is not working for me...:crying:
yea, i'd look into the xiaomi options. it's surely gonna be my next purchase, although im also a bit of a lenovo fan.
now i have a jiayu g2f, i spent about 100 dollars on it at the time. i can say that it beats the quality of my previous(samsung) phones. In speed it is definately similar to my tab4 10.1. only thing is that it heats a bit more.
so like was mentioned, i'd also look into the jiayu s3 if i was you.
You can choose Huawei
I am a chinese and now i am in china ,I think Huawei is a good choice.Huawei have many patents and their devices is so good. Now i am using Huawei honor 6.(my english is so bad,if i had a misspelling, please pardon me)

The real smartphone king

In 2018 many new budget oriented smartphones were launched but lets see who is the real smartphone king. many big companies have are launching their budget smartphones but only few of them have actually proved themselves as mightiest.
in today's discussion i am going to say which smartphone has really good at it's price point.
I will list down top 3 budget smartphones (i.e upto 15,000 ruppes)
1. REDMI NOTE 5 PRO
The real beast still remains the redmi note 5 pro since it gives true value for money.
the phone feature's latest qualcomm snapdragon 636 octacore processor, 4GB ram and has dual rear facing camera i.e 12MP + 5MP dual camera
Sony primary sensor, 1.25μm pixels and 20MP front facing camera with led flash light and face unlock . Though the rear facing camera look's like iphone x but still result's pretty good. it also has 6 inch FHD+ display with new 18:9 aspect ratio and comes with massive 4000mah battery capacity.
however the smartphone higher GB varient i.e for 6GB ram, the pricing is still high.
2.ASUS ZENFONE MAX PRO M1.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is just like the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but includes stock Android. The same hardware that makes the Xiaomi phone on the best performers at that price, is also there on the Zenfone Max Pro M1(i.e snapdragon 636 octacore processors) .But the flavour is stock Android 8.1 Oreo. Apart from that you get a sturdy build quality and decent 16-megapixel dual cameras at the back. Easily one of the best phones under Rs 15,000.
3.OPPO REALME 1.
this year oppo is launching quite unique and attractive products. This year now oppo has has launched it's new brand realme and it's one of the product realme 1 is one othe best smartphone of 2018
The Realme 1 is a new entrant in the mid-range market and it hopes to topple the best by offering a maxed-out spec sheet which includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and Mediatek helio p60 processor which is even good than qualcomm snapdragon 636 processors. But because of missing fingerprint scanner and dual rear camera setup,i have placed it in 3rd position. But all that firepower surely makes the Realme 1 one of the best phones under Rs 15,000.

Infinix Note 10 Pro launched in India

Infinix has finally launched this Note 10 series in India and the best smartphone in this series is Infinix Note 10 Pro with Helio G95 processor and 256GB storage. What do you think?
5,000 mAh batteries are becoming very common these days in budget phones. With a mediatek gaming chipset and a 90Hz refresh rate, this phone is even more awesome
I think this is excellent with the kind of features it contains at a low cost. The Helio G95 chipset along with 8GB RAM would really foster gaming.
The note 10 pro seems like a seriously good budget phone with a good mediatek chip
Yeah, really good storage at the low cost and even the choice of Mediatek gaming chipset seems good enough.
i feel Infinix always knows which features will attract customers. going with a 90Hz refresh rate, an awesome display and a helio gaming SoC really paid off.
Got one, surprisingly good phone.
Got 8gb ram 128gb rom but using a 512gb sd card means more than enough storage.
SoC is quite good, almost as fast as my Note 20 Ultra, and it seems to handle most media thrown at it.
Camera is pretty decent but again (compared to a flagship) not the best out there. This may be due to the camera app itself and with some tweaking might be OK...
The biggest difference in camera is Night mode. The Note 20 shines, quite literally as photo's I take with it are generally quite bright with minimal light levels. The Infinix Note 10 Pro, isn't... Same time and conditions give me black photo's with some light sources. Again might be camera needs tweaking but not sure how much time and effort Infinux will put into this.
Video is good in a pinch but doesn't look like it has the best stabilisation and when taking a little lag is noticeable.
Overall, XOS is fairly good but there are some little surprises inside , not necessarily good ones either. Settings search doesn't so much find the setting I want but the App Info for it. I tend to use search for finding settings a lot as it is easier and faster than going through a long list of items to find something buried 3 menu's in. This may improve as XOS matures, hopefully...
Overall it's a good mid ranger but if you come from something like Samsung then you may find the experience a bit more hairpulling.
Would recommend though as it is good value for money, $350 AUD when something similar from Samsung would be around $800 - $1000...
Oh, and it comes with a headphone jack (no headphones supplied).
In box - Infinux Note 10 Pro, Charger (not sure what countries but not Australian), USB C cable, Case (TPL gel), Sim extraction tool and documentation. After careful inspection I also found a tempered glass screen protector in the box too...
Hope this helps...
