Hi.
You need to asl this in the S4 Active's dedicated Q and A section over here:
> Samsung Galaxy S 4 Active > Galaxy S 4 Active Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good Luck!
Thank you. Thread closed!
I turn off my mobile computer, charge the battery only normal shutdown as if nothing happened even turn on the LED. Now when I turn left at the black screen where it says Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and off. Not to enter the recovery mode, just enter the download mode and when I try to charge the ROM again with ODIN hanging on initializing and there does not advance.
Bring it to a technical service and I suggest that the logic board is damaged you must replace it, but this still can not believe this team.
I appreciate your comments and any solution that they can give me.
Has the Official ROM 4.4.2, the last update was automatically through OTA.
Hi there,
All about your device is in this thread:
[INDEX][REPO] Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android ROM/Kernel/Xposed/Themes/Apps [09 feb]
I guess you need to flash stock firmware but for relevant answers please register an account on XDA and ask directly here:
Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck
Help! I tried to root my samsung galaxy s6 (sm-g20f, Netherlands no sim lock) but it freezes on startup.
All it says are the regular things samsung galaxy s6 Powered by android. But now it also says, in red letters: recovery is not seandroid enforcing.
I still can get it in Odin mode. But when I try to install new firmware odin says: can't open the serial(com) port. For rooting i have used CF auto root and the program Odin.
How can I get it back to life? Maby I'm using the wrong firmware? Yesssss I fixed it, using smart switch.
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
Your thread will be moved to the Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum so you can receive specialized help. There are experts there who can help you out. It would help other users if you could describe what root method did you use and the steps/procedures you have done.
Good Luck! - gsstudios
Now today I have been maybe a bit stupid. I have deleted my o.s. using twrp. How can I get a new one on my phone?
I'm currently running 4.4.2 with root on Samsung note 3 N900A. I've unlocked the device so I'd like to know how to update to 5.0 without losing the unlock. I've never flashed roms before but if I have to will I lose the unlock? I can't switch to AT&T since i'm in Australia.
Thanks

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Luckily, upgrading/changing ROM's does not affect the SIM (un)lock status. If you are SIM unlocked (btw, by the model number of your phone, you have the AT&T version), upgrading will not change that status.
This thread will provide your OTA details:
> AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > AT&T Galaxy Note 3 General > [ROM][Guide][FULL ODIN FILES][ATT][OC1][OTA with KEEP ROOT][Soft Brick FIX]
Post 4 is convoluted, it should help on rooting the phone for Lollipop if the above leaves you with an unrooted phone (and if you wanted root - I imagine so, to freeze/get rid of the AT&T bloat).
> AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Att Note 3 on Lollipop
Any questions, can ask in either of the above mentioned threads, once you have an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi
I tried to follow along with the instructions but there wasn't enough information for me to follow along. I was unable to understand what tools and applications were being used and ended up wiping my entire device.
If there is a more detailed set of instructions that would be great. I am also unable to use Odin as I have a mac. Tried running it in vmware but I just keep getting errors.
Thanks

If you are using a Mac, scope this thread out:
> AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > AT&T Galaxy Note 3 General > [12/29] Restore for MJ5 --Doesn't trip Knox and optionally provides root
Heimdall is crossplatform. Read the thread, then ask there how the steps will be different for your situation (Mac of course; also detail what the exact Android version & build number you are coming from - found in settings -> about phone - to make sure there are no conflicts)
I won't know the answer to that question - they will.
Hope this helps.
