[Q] Probably bricked Xperia L C2015 - Sony Xperia L

Hello everyone,
I tried to install new ROM for my SXL. It has locked BL. When I had to "deodex" or something like that after reboot phone has only lovely Orange brand logo on screen When I press the volume buttons or power on/off button, phone only vibrates.
Used also Flashtool for Xperia, but it only shows "Your phone is locked".
Pls, help me I am newbie, but I want to update this ****, my brand don't even get any updates for these phones.
C2015 Rooted 4.1.2

So can't you access fastboot? Other than fastboot, a JTAG box would work.

I can't.
I heard something about JTAG, but it's too expensive for me. I need to send my phone to service? :crying:

Can't Reboot Xperia x10 mini pro into recovery!

I rooted my device "Xperia x10 mini pro" using 'Unlock Root', unlocked Bootloader, installed BusyBox and Root Explorer. Installed xRecovey, CMW Recovery and whatever it was required to REBOOT into recovery.
Switched Off my phone & pressed back button when Sony Ericsson logo appeared but nothing happened. It didn't into recovery.
I am so disappointed now and don't know what to do to get into recovery
It would be a great help if you could let me out from my problem.
Thank You

Hello
Hello, Did you manage to put the sony x10 mini pro into recovery??
I have same problem, please get back
Thanks
try to press the volume down button intermittently during the boot .. thats how i get into the recovery (CWM) in my mini pro (SK17i) .. but since urs is X10 mini pro im not so sure if my method will work for ur fone ! theres no harm in trying
You have to keep smashing the back button until the recovery appears.

hold power and vol up button and release power after it turned on if you come into recovery mode your done : )
None of these methods work for me.
I rooted the phone, unlocked the bootloader, have xrecovery on it, I was even using the custom rom for a while, but when I tried to restart and enter recovery, I couldn't.
Now my rom will not even start up normally, and I can't get FlashTool to force it into recovery since the phone has to be turned on for flashtools to do that.
Am I seriously going to have to do the whole rooting procedure all over again?
EDIT: Solved omfg You really have to keep SMASHING that Back button, holding it does nothing!
Thnx, and God bless HTC.

or u can hold VOL UP and POWER button for more than 10 seconds ... fon will vibrate 3 times and it will POWER OFF completely. Then u can switch it ON normally using POWER button and on sony logo press VOL UP button to boot into recovery mode. From here u can flash any custom ROM...
OR u can just flash stock firmware using flashtool....
Hope this helps...

I tried to search for that phone, but I found that every information about that phone is in russian language. but I can't understand Russian.
so I tried to find something in English about that phone. all I could get was this link:-
4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=520024&st=200
which tells how you could flash a custom Rom, (which is not officially for this phone but for some other phone) if you are rooted.
But as this Rom is not for this phone , it contains bugs like you would not be able to open the camera etc.
so you can access the above link and read about it.
tell me what happens!!

I sent it to warranty, i think that will help, because it says root ruins warranty, right? But how can they tell it's rooted when it's not turning on?
Btw, how could i flash a custom rom on that phone, if i can't get into recovery mode? I flashed one on my HTC One V and i first had to intall the custom recovery, so i don't know how i'm to flash it on this phone. P.S. I checked google ''chainfire3d bricked my phone'' and i get an answer that its because its not compatible with Jelly Bean, **** why im never reading app descriptions? and why are they not putting an real warning that its not compatible with some android versions???? So i read some people say that i can delete the chainfire3d's driver manually through the SDK Manager, so i tried that, but in the cmd it didn't find my device, because it says that it was unplugged, and it was actually plugged but it was like turned off because i couldnt turn it on, so i guess thats why that failed for me I have all the right phone's driver intalled in my computer so that couldn't be the problem. if someone can tell me how i can get it to be ''PLUGGED IN'' when phone is actually off, but the USB cable is plugged?

Just stopping at the boot animation, but it shows me anyway it's unplugged, even when its on the boot animation. P.S. i somehow got it to recovery mode, i cleaned the cache and did factory reset, but it still just stops at the boot animation.
The fact that there is a boot animation means that phone is not bricked hard.Usually pressing vol up and power button or volume up down and power and holding it for some more seconds brings up download mode or the default recovery. Never try to root phone without cwm recovery it just means that if something goes wrong then your phone is ruined. But I think that warranty will probably find out that you are rooted if they can find the recovery or access the partitions of the phone

Iespējams ka tur ir risinājums.
can you boot your phone in flashmode? use flashtool to flash stock rom, then root again

PLEASE HELP! Very concerned have hard bricked phone!

Hi Guys,
So the story is that I was updating my Xperia Z3 (details below) from TWRP 2.8.6 to 'twrp-3.0.2-0-yuga' using the instructions androidnewsbox.com/2016/02/08/how-to-install-and-update-to-twrp-3-0-0 and after flashing the new TWRP the phone can no longer enter recovery mode and I get no other booting/loading screens.
I had 100% battery when I started the process.
It does still do the little vibrate thing when I hold down the power button but nothing happens after that.
When I plug it into the PC the LED flashes red, then green then goes off.
Reading the instructions twrp.me/devices/sonyxperiaz.html I did use the 'install' function not the 'recovery' function. Is that likely to be the mistake I made? If so is there any way to recover?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Model: D6653
Previous TWRP: 2.8.6
Android version: 5.0.2
Software version: 23.1.A.0.726
Use flashtool to reflash a new system image (ftf). You're using stock so probably your kernel doesn't support FOTA-Kernel partition flashing.
Great to hear back from someone.
Unfortunately I don't think that I can just flash a new ftf using flashtool as I cant get into fastboot mode.
I have been working through the following online tutorial
engineerthink.com/blog/2015/11/how-to-unbrick-hard-bricked-android-phone/
I have installed the USB drivers on my PC from here
androidmtk.com/download-sony-xperia-usb-driver
And i can get the ftf file from here (mine is 1288-6090)
xpericheck.com/device/D6653
Unfortunately I am unable to put the phone into fastboot mode by holding down the power and down buttons. Nothing happens.
The tutorial above also tells me "If phone not going to Fastboot mode than connect it to PC by USB. Hold Volume Up and Power button until you get company logo or backlight."
This also does nothing and I get no backlight or company logo.
FYI if it helps about a year ago I rooted my phone using a tutorial very similar to this
oneandroid.gs/root-xperia-z3/
I will keep working on the problem and post any updates as they come up.

First hard shut down your phone by using combo, after that, download the ftf for your phone (1288-6090 is the customization, what you need is an ftf that its compatible with your phone model, download flash tools, install the drivers that come with it, and using xperifirm (Included in flashtools) you download the firmware) After you have all settled up, proceed to flash your phone, select firmware and then it'll ask you to connect your phone in flash mode not fastboot mode, you can do that by pressing vol up + power (press them and while pressing them connect the usb to the pc). Then the flashing process will start. You can find many tutorials around here in xda. Do not use external tutorials, go find stuff here. It's way more reliable as many are made just for your phone.
Hi and thanks again.
This gives me plenty to learn about and go forward with thanks heaps.

Yes that one, If you press it enough (about 5-10 secs) the phone will shutdown and It wont try to restart. This is what you need first.

No, only when connecting the phone to start flashing the system software, you will see a green light in the notification led that will then shut off and flashing process will start.

This is a great almost-up-to-date guide http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/03/1...peria-lollipop-using-xperifirm-and-flashtool/
XperiFirm is included in flashtools now so you don't have to download it, but to get your firmware you have to do the same steps but opening xperifirm from inside flashtool.
You can download flashtool here http://www.flashtool.net/downloads.php
Seems to be a success!
Thanks heaps for all your great assistance.

Hi H3llcat,
Jumping through some hoops with the D6653 myself... did you get it to boot up? Not sure how far you went with it, if still an issue charge it back up and let's try a couple of things; I realize it'll just be sitting there all dumb and dark like, but do it anyway. So let us know.

Bricked phone after flashing boot

So I flashed my devices bootloader with the wrong boot image and now the phone is completely bricked, when I power it on it shows the Sony Xperia screen then after proceeds to a screen with a dead android. PC won't recognise the device, when I connect it it says USB device malfunctioning and I'm pretty much lost in what I need to do. Please help, thanks.
UPDATE: Now the phone won't even turn on at all, tried holding Power button, Volume Up and Down. Probably just bricked the phone even more
UPDATE: Solved the problem, not sure how but managed somehow

You have your own thread. Please don't just post anywhere.
At OP: Can you reproduce how what you did or which program/tools you used? Would be interesting.
