Yeah, it's kind of an obscure phone but i've recently gotten it.
Trying to root it but only think i found so far on the internet after hours of searching is this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/samsung-galaxy-2-sm-g130-t2878827)
I've done what was told to do there and supersu still says there's no Superuser binary...
Help please?
Hi,
I would likely be best to ask for help in that thread you've linked. Otherwise you can start your own here...
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Make sure you flash the superuser zip with Odin. That's the step that installs the binaries.
Good luck!

In which box do i insert the Superuser.zip in odin?
This is for a different device, Samsung still, but completely different. So please do not use any files from this thread or device section. But the instructions would be mostly similar.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2195283
Now if you need further help, please post your questions in the thread you linked originally, or the section I linked in post 2.
XDA Assist is here to help members navigate the site, not for support.
Again, good luck! ?
Thank you. Thread closed.

Downloaded CF-Auto-Root-wilcoxlte-wilcoxltexx-smg3815 and Odin 3.10.0, followed the instructions at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33305784&postcount=2 and everything seemed to work fine, but when I try to open SuperSU I get "There is no SuperSU binary installed [...]"
Tried looking it up on this forum, but didn't seem to find any specific solution to the problem
Would appreciate any assistance
Hi there,
We don't have a dedicated forum for this device, but you can ask in one of this 2 forums:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
or
> General discussion > Questions and Answers
Also, you can read/ask in the following threads:
[Q] Can anybody help me root my Samsung Galaxy Express 2?
Root galaxy express 2 (sm-g3815)
Good luck
Thanks for the reply. Posted this thread here because it seemed to be the most relevant from the forum index, but I guess I'll repost it in one of the other forums later if necessary
Read through both of the threads you linked and all they seem to say is "Use CF Auto-root", which I've already done
Thread closed, thank you.
How can I get a rom that will flash on my Sgh t399n galaxy light. Klies locks up, and I have yet to get a Rom that Odin likes.
Hi,
You don't flash roms with Odin. You need a custom recovery, and you flash roms from there. Unfortunately I can not find anything relevant to your device on XDA and there's no section for your device... So you will need to ask for help with that here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
You will need to register on XDA to post there.
Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.
Hi, I've bought a Chinese tablet; http://www.tabletspecsreview.com/ippo-v12-affordable-10-1-inch-kitkat-tablet-specs-review/
My problem is that it doesn't have root permissions. It came with superSu pre-installed but it updated itself via play store and i cannot update the binaries. I tries both normal method and via recovery but since it has an unknown recovery by the manufacturer it failed to install. I searched for various methods on how to root like vroot, towelroot, and many others but in vain. Could someone direct me on how to proceed.
Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device. You will need to ask for help here,

Okay thanks I'll ask for help there.
well I posted there but nobody seems to care...disappointing
I wouldn't put it that way. You need to remember, the older or less popular a device is, the fewer people who own it. Even fewer that own it and come to XDA. Unanswered threads aren't usually from members not bothering to answer.... It's more likely no one knows how to help.
In these cases, a google search of make and model number would likely be a good idea. ?
Hope you find answers. Thread closed.
Hello friends,
I have a broadcom based device which I would like to reset to its original stock rom. I am running Windows 8 64 bit. When I am installing the drivers mentioned in forumms on xda, it fails. Now i am stuck with a partially working device. Can anyone tell me what should I do to make these drivers work? Kindly check the attached image.
Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device and issue.
I see you've already asked about this in one thread. If that doesn't help you, you can ask for help here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
Thanks for reply

Thank you, there is a thread seperately dedicated for Lava X604. I have messaged the author of thread also, I just want to get the broadcom drivers running so I can reinstall the stock firmware. Any help would be nice.
Then you can post in the thread you discovered, or the section I linked. ?
Please I have a samsung j1 sm-j100m device that I really would like to root, I looked many places and several methods to root, although I followed the instructions I had no success in rooting it.
Could anyone help me please?
Hi there,
Sorry but I don't find anythind specific to your device. You can try one of the generic root methods at the top of the list here:
XDA Root Directory
If that doesn't help, you will need to ask for help here :
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck

I have checked the topic of the the generic methods and tried all of them, but still no success.
I will try posting a Question on troubleshooting section.
Thanks for your help!!!
Ok then.
