[Completed] [Q] How to make full backup? - XDA Assist

i m new here. i use Sony Xperia Z1 . My PCC doesnt help to make backup. So i need to know how could i make full backup(complete backup) of my mobile including all apps data, internal data. Is there any softwares or apps which could do it?
help me out

Hi,
Normally you would need a custom recovery to make a full backup of your system and apps.
Or, with root, you can backup your user apps and data with titanium backup.
Backing up your stuff like pics, music and things on your internal SD partition is simple, just transfer them to your PC regularly.
That all said..... for help on any of that, or other suggestions... Please ask in your device section,
> Sony Xperia Z1 > Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

You can try "helium" from the play store for user app backup. It doesn't require root.

Thanks a LOT

[Completed] Help Restoring Text from Nandroid on early Version

I have a Moto X with an unlocked bootloader and rooted using TWRP/SuperSU. I performed a nandroid of 4.4.2 before I returned to stock and took the 4.4.4 OTA. I have Titanium B/U PRO and extracted the Phone/Messenging Storage (data only) with Migrate System Data checked in preferences.
The result is my texts are restored and I can send text fine but I can't receive texts. Why would restoring my text messages data only mess with my ability to receive texts?
I have gone back and forth b/t my 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 nandroids with no problems and I can verify that my texting app works fine to receive text in 4.4.4 until I restore my text messages from my 4.4.2 nandroid.
Is there anything I should be checking to see what is being changed when Titanium restores my texts? I've posted on the Moto X forum but no response.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
Hi,
I see you know exactly where your device section is and use it often. Please ask for help there, as XDA Assist is here to help members navigate the site, not for support. ?
Good luck!

yeah, but I am not getting any help there. Is there anywhere else on XDA I should try as this may not be specific to the device. Maybe General Q&A?
You can post in general Q&A if you wish.
But Assist is not the place for those that know their way around, and these threads aren't for troubleshooting or discussion. ?

[Completed] [Q] htc valente hard bricked

Hi.
I'm new here so pardon any error...
i was trying to unlock the network using a tutorial i found online.
but after editing the "mmcblk0p4" file the phone shuts down and won't come on. i tried plugging it to pc and it shows a "qhusb_dload" driver window. i tried using linux also and it shows it in qdl mode.
I don't know what to do because i''ve tried so many options adb and fastboot can't detect the phone. any useful information will be appreciated.
thanks.
Hi,
Devices that show up as "QSUSB_DLOAD" are usually beyond repair at home. Usually need a service center to fix them.
But feel free to ask for other ideas here..

Good luck!

thanks.
is there no way to fix the bootloader through the terminal because that was what caused the issue. i can read my partition from there and i found some code that worked on the evo4g but i don't know if it could work on this one.
Like I said, on some devices "QSUSB_DLOAD" is fatal... But asking in the section I linked may help you get other suggestions.

On a Samsung for example... That state is a guaranteed trip to a service center. They have the means to force flash stock firmware, as us end users don't.

[Completed] GT racing 2 prompting invalid License in XPERIA L.

I have copied the source file of GT racing 2 in /Android-obb, but when i start it starts prompting an error message saying " Please check- Invalid License. Please Help/
Hi,
If you paid for the app, I'd go to the developers for help. If you didn't pay for it.... There's your problem. ?
This isn't a device specific issue, so you could register on XDA and ask for help here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
---------- Post added at 05:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:37 PM ----------
Also, I don't think you can move game files... The game looks for them where they were installed. Perhaps uninstall the game and download it from the play store again. ?

is there any other way because my internal app storage is just .98gb and the available is just lower than 200mb and after some apps it gone low even I disable some built-in apps like Google search , Facebook app, TWitter app even I have move to sd card option built-in so do u have any solution because I post in my forum in xda but no one give the solution
thanks for help
Hi,
Link2SD is maybe the best option, but you do need root. But you need root for most anyway. You can ask for help with it here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919326
Other than that, you'll need to wait for help in your device section, as xda Assist is here to help navigate the site, not for support.
Good luck!

Actually, I see this is your 4th time on Assist. And you've been shown your device section multiple times.
Please use it for help with that device.
Again, Assist is here to help navigate the site only... And you've been shown where to seek help.
Thanks for understanding, thread closed.
