I am new to this android world. I have a Lava Iris 349s. It has some really nonsense apps and features. So i want to format it and install a fresh copy of android kitkat. Can anybody provide me step by step guide to do so.

I would not flash anything that wasn't made specifically for your device, it could brick your tablet.
I found nothing for your device that wasn't very old and the links were dead, so no help there. You will need to ask for help here....
