Project: pick rooting tool for different phones - General Topics

I have a project right now where I need to create a way for someone to enter a phone model and be able to see what tool should be used to root it.
Are there any programs or anything that offer this sort of functionality?
I know that there are several tools such as Kingo that can root many phones with clear instructions.

[TOOL] TriRoot -- Triumph rooting made easy

Want a quick and easy way to root your phone? This tool uses the files included in your Motorola Triumph to grant it root privileges.
Be aware that I have not been able to test this on an un-rooted device, at least not yet. But I've run it over my Triumph at least a few dozen (hundred?) and doesn't appear to hurt it, so I'm almost ready to certify it safe. Standard disclaimers apply, you can read them when you start the program.
Requirements
A properly connected Motorola Triumph
Drivers already installed (pretty easy)
Windows (XP+)
Features
Simple rooting method
All in one -- comes with ADB if you lost yours

nice selection, to root that your going to need a program written in Chinese most likely since all the hardware for it is written that way but that shouldnt be too hard. before we start here
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT: by choosing to do any of the things I have written here for you, you assume full responsibility for whatever happens, I DO NOT and CAN NOT be held responsible for anything you do! I have provided you with a way to do what you asked. YOU assume full liability regardless the outcome.
1st. your gonna want to go to Google, yahoo, Bing, whatever one you choose and download a translator from Chinese to English (i assume you speak English obviously) anyways you need this to translate whatever program your gonna be using when you find it...
2. do a search online for your tablet model, be as specific as possible, version number, serial numbers, kernel version and you should find a bunch of links but they will be in Chinese ( this is what the translator is for) when you find the links in your search engine copy the writing to your translator and it should convert it to English this way you can see the description of the programs your looking at.
3. when you find one you think is the rooting software download the program and open to folder location, you should see a few folders, maybe an exe. maybe not but there should be names in Chinese on every folder, copy an paste the names to your translator until you find the name for the EXE. thats the program that runs it, you may also want to look for an instruction manual too via the same method because the actual program and script instructions are gonna be in Chinese as well but your computer should have no trouble running it you just wont be able to understand the instructions so before you actually run it for real on your device copy tose instructions to translator to see how to root your device, most likely the program is going to have choices you need to make just like and SPF program does LINUX or RSD lite, ect ect...
4. I know this is getting to be a long process but I did this with a laptop I was given 2 years ago and it worked fine after a few try's with different programs I found. you also have to make sure the software/hardware on your computer is compatible with whatever is on the tablet and the rooting program, if you cant find a rooting program thats compatible unfortunately this method wont work because the program to root will not work on your computer is its not compatible.
Good luck.

[Q] " DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit (v18) " rooting for the Atrix 4G(MB860) does it?
I not speak English. Everything is google translate. The conversation will be a little longer. Please note.
I use Ubuntu. I would like to work on Linux. I do not need a separate USB driver is aware of the fact. Configuration file was created.
"DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit (v18)" Can I use the rooting? My idea was supported from version 4. Version 18 seems to be even.
"DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit (v4)" is possible in the know. However, this is for Windows only. And my Atrix is the 2.3.5. (MB860) - kernel version : 2.6.32.9-00004-gfbc746e (In addition, my smart phone will be released in Korea.)
It goes down very large repair costs. My only one rooting for the success of smartphones Help.

The Lava Iris 458Q and your xolo q600 are the same device, if you are viewing this site through mobile browser or browser on PC then look for the "search all forums" search box, type in xolo q600 or lava iris458q and then go through your search results looking for everything on XDA for those devices. You might find something.

Thanks for quick reply ... I found 3 post regarding xolo q600
but I fear that am I able to do it or not..
Also I am researching more and getting confused about some terms like firmware, xposed frames...
Also is it necessary to install SDK studio from google before start to root ur device...
What is difference between ADB, SDK, Universal Drivers...
Also I am unable to find how to increase internal app storage permanently...
thanks again
If I get success it rooting and installing custom Rom then i will definitely try rooting another devices and learning more and more about android.

1) firmware is the factory installed operating system.
2) Xposed is a custom mod that works on most rooted devices, it let's you customize whatever ROM you have on your device to add new features, this is not required to root your device, it is something you use after rooting. Cross that bridge when you get to it, don't focus on that right now until after you are rooted.
3)Generally SDK is not needed to root a device, SDK is required for building things in android such as ROMs and apps. You won't need to know that until you learn how to be a developer.
4)ADB stands for Android Debug Bridge, it is a program on PC that is used to connect device to PC so that PC can be used to manipulate the device depending on what you are doing, basically used to pull data from the device and to push data to the device. There are more complicated things that it does as well but it requires experience to understand what those things are and how they are used.
5)SDK stands for Software Development Kit, it is used to develop software of all kinds to be used on android, again, you only need to know that if you become a developer and takes a while to understand and master.
6) universal drivers are general drivers that are used in android operating systems, these work the same as on PC, they allow the device to use the various pieces of hardware on the device. Just like PC, the device can't use any of its hardware without the drivers.
You are really asking about things that you don't need to know until AFTER you get your device rooted.
You need to focus on discovering if you have locked bootloader first and how to unlock it if needed.
Then you need to focus on the root method for your device.
Then focus on getting custom recovery
Then focus on finding custom ROMs for your device.
Without those things and those things ONLY, all the questions you are asking are doing you no good. You are asking how to perform brain surgery which requires going to college and you haven't even graduated school yet. You are basically putting the cart in front of the horse instead of the horse in front of the cart, the cart can't pull the horse, the horse must pull the wagon.

Manual root of Allwinner tablet

Hello,
Due to the issue with KingRoot that has been brought to the attention of everyone is there a way to root an Allwinner A83T tablet device manually not using an app.
ADB in linux would be my preferred method if possible. I have found many of the guides for rooting Lollipop devices are either obsolete or just do not work. It is even more difficult if one is trying with Marshmallow. Many of the windows scripts or programs downloadable here are either out of date or just do not work. for one reason or another. I updated the devices in question to Marshmallow but had to move back to Lollipop, after losing access to the internal sdcard. This was when I found out about KingRoot being suspect. Google seem to be making modding Android devices ever more difficult. I hope someone has a solution for this problem.
Thanks.
