Does anyone use the stock VZW Mobile Hotspot to connect their Playstation 4 to the internet? If so, is it reliable/dependable? I may need to use it for a day or so but don't want to get disconnected frequently.
I use foxfi and it works great. Stable and fast.

FoxFi asking for a password for certificate storage but it keeps saying my password is wrong...Is there a generic password? Which password does it want? Thanks.

Pay for the extra hot spot service. I don't believe there's another way around it if you don't root and install wireless tether app. 3.0 pre12 is best btw.

If you are rooted by now:
Use WIFI Tethering by OPENGARDEN .... Really easy setup + Widget works great.

I tried them all and have a hard time to decide which one! I guess if it works for you then you should stay with it. One may worked for one but not the others, probably depend on your setup. Example, the none root required, will work great for none rooted users, but it make no diff to us, cause we all rooted here.
I heard there is file such as tethering2036.apk or tethermanager2036.apk and if you delete it will it work is this true? I do not have the phone with me now so I can not check.
So what is everyone's favorite tethering method? Rooted/unrooted? I honestly haven't had the need to tether with this phone yet, but on my old device I was a fan of WiFi Tether and PdaNet depending upon what the situation called for.
I either use the built in mobile hot spot or foxfi. Of course modded the mobile hot spot so I can use it for free

I can't get Ninjump to work on my note after some updates. Its reaches the place of papaya log in and then everything turns black. Several people reported this on Play Store but no fix yet. Any way to fix this?

Works on my Note on stock ICS.
To be honest I had adblock and blocked that app on my firewall

I don't understand. You blocked the game on adblock for it to work?

I had adblock running. Meaning it may be that the ads are causing issues in your case
Perhaps you can try to play on airplane mode to see if it works?

I have cleared data, cache, force stop, restarted and still no success. I even deleted the custom host file still no success. Everthing turns black after loading the game, music still plays in the background. I'm running CleaNote v6.

Can someone help with configuring foxfi on Verizon.
I know it looks straight forward however the Verizon hotspot pops up in notifications and I'm a bit nervous they'll see it.

Just ignore it. Unless it is a message saying "Subscription" this or that, just leave it be.

FoxFi blows. Use a real tethering app, like Wifi Tether. (if you aren't rooted you need to grow a pair). The limit/cap thing is just stupid. It DOES work, but it's really just not worth stopping and restarting all the time.

Well it seems to be working just fine.
The icon is nothing to worry about if you use foxfi.

I have it enabled, have my wifi on, and 4G enabled, and when I download a large file, it doesnt seem to activate. Is this working for Verizon?
It has to be enabled BEFORE the download starts. But it works great
