Does anyone have experience charging the battery?
I was using the phone it went dry, as in
I did get the warning that i only have 10% left / 5 % left and then i kept using it until it pop up a message saying
"To prevent damage to the phone, it will now turn off"
and off it goes
but when i plug it back to the USB cable, it got no sign of charging, no light, or indication of any kind.
if i try to turn on the phone, only the Soft buttons lid up, but it doesn't do anything.
Also when i had it plugged directly into the wall, it was not shown as charging, when the phone is ON and running the OS.
but now that the phone is completely OFF, when i plug in the USB charger directly to the wall then it shows the Battery Bar @ 5% for only a brief moment and then goes back off

Yes, it always happens if you squeeze all the juice out of the battery. Be patient and let the cable connect. After a few mins, the touch buttons will light up. then after a few more minutes, the screen will light-up and show you the charging icon. By that time it reached 15%, you can already press the power button to boot the phone.

The same exact thing seems to be happeneing to me. Did you figure out how to turn it on? I charged it overnight and nothing has changed except that the battery status shows a full charge. I still can't turn it on. After I take it off the charger and replug it in, it shows 5% again. Thanks.
the problem with mine was just a cable issue, found another cable, and it worked fine.
it didn't like the after market chargers
Most of the time this is not cable problem... If your battery is down and you put in PC USB - it will light after... you will wait a lot. If you put it in AC charger it will light after while.
PC USB is 500mA, AC charger is 600mA or more.
thanks for all the advice. I did get it to charge and boot. I left the battery out of the phone overnight then plugged in the original charger and the soft keys lit up and aftr 25 minutes I was able to turn it on all the way. Quite a relief.
I recently bought a chinese tablet (Sumvision Cyclone Voyager). I found that it wont charge past 92%. After much research i discovered that the problem can be fixed by one of the following:
-removing the battery
-wiping battery in CWM
-Full discharge until off, remove battery, hold power 30 seconds, replace battery charge to 100%
But most of these things require removing the battery or using CWM. What if the battery is non-removable? Or you cant get CWM for you model?
FIX for LiPo non removable (very simple)
I found the fix is:
1. Full discharge until it turns off
2. Full recharge while off until it stops charging ( will prob get stuck at the last bit (92% in my case but when off it dosnt give percentage just keeps showing animation for last 1/3 of battery to be charged)
3. Remove charger and power on the device. Use it until it drops below 80%
4. Recharge again while its on until it gets stuck at X% (92% in my case)
5. This is the important part: while its stuck charging remove the mains plug from the socket on the mains while leaving the connector plugged into the device (dont turn switch off at wall actually unplug the ac adaptor from the mains socket)
6. wait 30 seconds and plug it back in to the mains socket.
-Leave and see if it charges. It may not work the first time. For me it worked on the 3rd attempt.
Well i've been looking for an answer for a while and appearently if you dont leave your phone on charge for a while and you put it in the charger its gonna start charging. Now im wondering if its charing because now i just put it in the charger in and it blinked once and when i held down the power and down volume for 20 seconds or less it blinked again but for 2 minutes it dosent show anything. So is it charging or not?
My s6 that i bought 3 weeks ago suddenly stopped charging after i left it discharging overnight. It is rooted and running XtreStoLite ROM.
I have tried charging via the wall socket, computer usb, with wireless charging and from powerbank. But none of these work.
However if i turn the phone off and plug it into the charger, the battery symbol with the lighting in the middle, displays for a brief moment then goes black.
It fixed itself, im unsure how but what i did was hold down the volume down button and power button for about 30 sec, forcing the device to restart several times, this did not fix it, however when i afterwards charged it with a htc charger i had FROM my powerbank it for some reason started charging.
Dear all,
I found an old Moto G (1st gen) and I want to use it as spare phone but it doesn't turn on. When I plug to charger, white led turn on (fixed) but phone doesn't charge even if I left overnight.
I tried: 120 sec hold power on button, 120 sec hold power on button + volume down, different chargers up to 2.4A, disassembly and left battery unplugged for 30 min, connect charger without battery. No way.
Any other suggest? I suppose that with battery unplugged and charger plugged the screen have to turn on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZhAabwi24M
so the problem is not the battery. or not?
Please help. Best regards
