[Completed] [Q] Need detailed step by step help rooting Motorola RAZR M 4.4.2 (XT907) - XDA Assist

After endless searching, many threads, you tube vids etc...I have come to realize that I need help before I root my device. I tried Towelroot (which I donated) to no avail with this version. I was just about to attempt going back to 4.1, however I realize that my brain has taken in far to much info and a mistake is likely. I do not have phone service due to it being locked to Verizon, trying to transfer my Net10 service but have to unlock first. So sorry for any aggrevation in advance but ANY help would be wonderful...Thanks, Melinda G.

Hello. A quick search came up with the threads below. Best of luck .

[Q] LG-D950G 4.4.2 Upgrade

This is my first post so my humble apologies for the lack of forum prowess. I have an unlocked ATT LG D950G to T-Mobile running a LG Flashed Stock 4.2.2 D950G10a version. It's rooted with Towelroot1. I have looked everywhere on pretty much all of the threads for either the .dll/.tot files for an LG Flash procedure or another procedure to force the update to 4.4.2. Has anyone successfully upgraded this phone from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 and if they have do they have the process in which they did it? Thank you for any help you can give.

[Q] Galaxy S4 GPE 4.2.2 Rooted updating to stock 4.4.2 or custom rom

Sorry if there is a definitive post elsewhere but for all my searching I cant seem to get my head round things.
I'm running a S4 i9505 4.2.2 Cf-auto root XXUAMDD with modified play store, im trying to update my phone to 4.4.2 or a recommended custom rom but worried that piecing together bits from different tutorials may result in an expensive paper weight. I'm not too bad with the technical things, have used odin plenty of times, I just need some help with what steps to take and in which order.
Thanks in advance

[Q] Mbm-ci of moto g lte 4.4.3

Good friends, first of all, forgive me if I'm posting bad but this is my first post ... I come to this great community for assistance to large developers that there are here.
My problem is this ... I have the bootloader bricked my Moto G LTE (XT1040), I found several statutes and have come to some extent in them that is when flash the bootloader (I've done with motoflasher and other files I have found, but it does not work), then the problem would come to be with the MBM-CI; I've found are for those who had android 4.3, 4.4.2 and 4.4.4.
And I had was the version 4.4.3 which none of these bootloaders grabs me and anything I find the MBM-IC 4.4.3.
Then I want to know who would be the one to save me from this by removing the MBM-CI of the flash 4.4.3 ... Or explain to me how to get that file from the flash.
Praise to facilitate it, I took 3 days without phone and what worries me more is that where I live not where to fix this kind of damage.
I beg ayudenme are 40,000 bs away (Here in Venezuela is a lot of money that and more for someone my age)
Eternally grateful to that I kick this

[Q] Pls Help rooting/flashing/new ROM Moto G (2013) XT1033

Hey there!!
I'm a newbie, would appreciate your help very much. Long ago I had rooted my Milestone 2 and installed a Cyanogen. But that was long ago and now I'm overwhelmed with so much information on this forum.
I've got a Moto G (2013), Dual Sim XT1033, bought in Brazil.
Update to Lollipop 5.0 has been one of the worst decisions, it works VERY badly now.
I wanted to get a new ROM. (Cyanogen 12? but I saw on their webpage my device is not supported, it also gave me that message when I tried to install thei apk)
It can be that or another popular one. The thing is that I dont know how to do it, and FAQs and walkthroughs assume I know a lot of concepts which I dont (like the difference between rooting and flashing my device) and procedures I am not aqcuainted with.
Please, has anyone got a starting guide? About flashing/rooting (?) my motoG and how to install (and which do you recommend?) the rom without much technical vocab..
Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Moto G- first you have to unlock the bootloader then root your phone then flash a custom recovery then you can flash a rom of your choice ( i recommend the stock optimized lollipop, has great battery life :good: - forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-stock-motorola-lollipop-rom-t3017510
Does steps for unlocking bootloader and rooting is same even after updating to 5.0.2, I mean same as steps that are available for moto G android 4.4.2 ?
I have moto G (1st Gen) bought in India updated to 5.0.2
Thanks in advance

[ROOT HELP PLEASE] Hi guys a noob needing help with rooting my Nexus 7 Lollipop 5.1.1

Hi guys & girls,
Another new noob making his first critical question, here's the low down. OK I have a Nexus 7 running 5.1.1 Lollipop, (WISH I WOULD HAVE NEVER UPGRADED TO LOLLIPOP FROM KITKAT) but anyway, I have tried several ways of rooting it. TowelRoot, KingoRoot, Nexus Root Tool Kit (NRK), etc...
I know I can downgrade back to a later version of my KittyKat. How ever I was trying to avoid that method (if it can be helped). My Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A it gave me a bit of trouble rooting it on behalf of it being an AT&T version. So enough yacking.. Here's my question, and any answer I will appreciate. I would like to know if there is an OFFICIAL way to root the Nexus 7? Or any late releases that anyone knows about, for rooting the Nexus 7 5.1.1 Lollipop, eather If it's a one-click method or PC method? I'd be happy with a PC method (if it can be helped). I'd rather a easy one-click method, we love those methods.
Thanks for any & all answers,
LaiD_BacK_MaNoR
Hey Again,
As I see no one was able to find a way to Help me Root my "N7", I was able to do research and upgrade my own CPU (My Brain) and get the job done myself and even managed to unlock the bootloader, on my own as well. Thanks for those who tryed. But it was a win, win for me bc I am now well advanced in the computer world.:good:
So if anyone else has this similar issue I will be delighted to help.
Thanks
