[Q] HELP: Samsung Galaxy Tab Terms and Abbreviations.

Hi. I'm very much lower than a noob, I'm very sorry if I ask questions that are very much answerable by anyone here.
**What are CDMA and GSM?
**How will I know if my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" (Wifi + 3G, from the Philippines) is a CDMA or GSM?
**Are there any other terms or abbreviations that you think I might not know? And what are those?
I want to install the Honeycomb Alpha 2.5 on my Samsung Galaxy Tab but I don't know if my Samsung Galaxy Tab is a CDMA version or GSM version.
So please do help me out here guys.

My Husband recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. Come to find out it's on CDMA network. I have unlocked the phone and rooted it. I need to know if it is possible to switch this cdma phone to gsm network?

Is there a way to unlock the Sprint galaxy s6 edge for AT&T? For free? I see people offering it for free on here but wanted to see if it was something like the razr where you edited the nv files or something.
