Multiwindow - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is multiwindow possible on moto g without rooting..?
Sent from my XT1033 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I don't think this is possible..at least I don't believe so. The minimum requirement is root as far as I know.

Small bug - XL have GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.

Why you didn't put it in development section

Similar hardware doesn't make it easier to port it. N4 has a snapdragon s4 pro while the XL has a snapdragon 400. To make a successful rom the device tree needs to be modified and most important, Google needs to release the full Android 5.0 source.

Why not just look at the OP for the candidates that you want to flash? I'm pretty sure most aren't pre-rooted, they require a separate SuperSU flash.
I tried liquid rom but that one is pre rooted so just wanted to know is there any other rom which is without root

Well mate. Nope CF-Root is reliable. It rooted my moto g on stock update 5.0 and the 5.0 script even worked for 5.0.1. So mate it is reliable go for it. Make sure your bootloader is unlocked!

Depends from device to device. My moto g needed to unlock bootloder in order to root and previous ones didn't needed it. Try this method.
