I have a tecno phantom Z phone running on ANDROID 4.4.2 MTK CHIPSET .
CWM recovery was installed on the device and its preventing OTA updates. any help please?

Sounds like you need to reflash your stock firmware, or at least your stock recovery. Unfortunately I cannot find anything helpful on XDA on that for your device. You may need to contact the manufacturer for files and instructions. You can ask here also,

Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device. Usually to backup an entire system, you need a custom recovery installed. Or for just backing up your apps, you need root and can use Titanium Backup.
For other suggestions you can ask here,

Also add more details, like the state of your device... Rooted, stock or custom rom, custom recovery ? Etc. Also, more specifics of how you are trying to upgrade and what exact errors happen. Update . zip is not usually associated with upgrading Android versions on most devices.

I rooted my phone and got a succesfull result. Then when i install a apllication for changing the font of my android, then turn off my android and when i turned it on, it stock on ots logo. What do i need to do? I want reflash it but i do not have that back up of stock rom and i don't know what can be compatible to my device. Please help me.

Likely you will need to contact your manufacturer for factory files and flashing instructions. Only use files made for your specific device, nothing else, or you could destroy your device.
You can register on XDA and ask about it here,

I have success create backup ROM from my rooted smartfren tablet wm8 , I follow instructions from :

And now I have wm8980s_signed_112714_111111.zip.
I want to help my friend at kaskus smartfren tab 8 community where some of them have a bootloop issue and some of them brick their tablet. My Minds is oke and running well.
My problems is wm8 is have no cwm installed, and there is no cwm recovery that match with this tablet.
So I need your helps how to flash that zip file to our wm8 devices that no cwm and in bootloop conditions ?

I don't think you can flash a rom without a custom recovery, but you can ask here in case anyone knows some way...

Hello, I tried flashing a custom rom to my Tonbux 5.7'' note 3 replica but it turned out bricked. I cannot find a single page which gives me the stock rom for this phone. I was an idiot and forgot to make a backup. any help with this maybe a rom you could provide me with? the phone doesnt boot at all but gets detected by the pc. (I used SP flash tool)

1280x720 display
1GB Ram+8gb Rom
MTK6582 Processor
