HTC one m8 not going past the bootloader(?) screen - Verizon HTC One (M8)

My phones battery died and when I charged and restarted the phone I am stuck on the screen that I attached a picture of. The issue seems to be I can't select any of the options given there. I can move through the options (fast boot, recovery, etc) with my volume button but I can't select any with the power button. When I press the power button nothing happens. I know the power button works because when I hold it down for too long I can turn off the phone and turn it on. Any help.? I don't mind factory resetting my phone if that's what it takes. On this screen my computer is not recognizing the phone here is a imgur URL to the screen I'm stuck on http://imgur.com/NUM9B9e

If your not rooted or anything...open HTC sync and click "repair" and it will run the official ruu on your phone. Should fix it no problem

Two things will prevent this.. .
Non-stock rom (custom rom flashed)
Corrupt internal partitions.

Bricked for good?

So I've managed to brick my Optimus 2x (which I later found out to be a G2x) and I can't get into recovery because I'm an idiot and I used rom manager and I'm freaking out because the phone's a day old and I've already managed to ruin it and yeah. I've tried a few of the un-bricking methods but it keeps telling me the phone isn't found (I do have the usb drivers in case you're wondering).
So, any suggestions?

Second and easiest method

Was unsuccessful, not only can I not access the S/W update screen, but OneClickRecoveryFlasher also fails because "bootloader download failed (bad data)
Sometimes you can access S/W update screen by pulling the battery, holding power and vol- button and inserting the battery. Continue holding the Button combo until it goes to S/W update.

Can you try this to recover? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590523.
If you used o2x method before your partitions may be messed up.

[Q] Cracked Screen! How Do I Get My Files Out Of The SD?

My HTC One S fell out of my pocket yesterday morning and landed head first on a stairway... The whole screen is shattered and neither does it turn on. When the phone is on you can hear when I receive notifications or calls. I just can't answer or anything because the touchscreen is broken also. Now, I called up and I am getting a replacement through asurion. I was wondering, is there a way I can plug in the phone to my laptop and somehow do something to get to access my internal memory so I can get my photos, videos, and etc? The power, volume, and the 3 buttons on the bottom still works.
Did you plug it in to see if Windows recognizes it...

Yes, Windows installed drivers (first time I plugged it into my Mac) and it still didn't bring up the SD drive in My Computer. That's probably because you have to enable Disk Drive on the phone. But I can't do that since the touchscreen is broken.

I guess this proves that the new MTP method for Jellybean has one benefit, lol, cause it doesn't require you to press anything, it automatically connects. Try runmankc's link.

I installed it. It still enters connect your android device with a USB cable to start. And I do have it connected.
All the buttons work. The power, volume, the back button, home button, and window buttons on the bottom light up and seems to work also. If I hold down the power button until all 3 bottom buttons starts flashing, if I press all 3 on the bottom while it's flashing, the phone restarts... Is there a certain pattern I can press to put the phone in some kind of mode or anything?

You could try unlocking it and flashing a recovery it wont be easy and you need help from videos so you know what you doing without seeing and once you got a custom recovery on there just boot into that and adb should work.
how can he do that with no usb debugging on and no screen

Can anyone please help me get back to stock i'm getting a little scared here
Just search for your device and you should find exactly what you need. For starters, go to the following forum and ALWAYS remember to flash the ROM that is for your carrier and phone otherwise you can run into some serious issues.

search for ways to go back to stock ROM for your device model Flash stock ROM ,its the most sure fireway to bring it back now:good:
Is your device recognised by your PC when connected to it? Try both on and off. If so, you can flash your stock rom or even remove any trace of Xposed that might be causing the bootloop using adb.

It stucks at the the twrp logo so I can't disable/remove it
turning off/on won't make difference because if I connect when off it will turn on and straight go to twrp screen
I'll try the pc method
flashed the stock firmware. now working everything.
thx for the suggestion.
