[Q] Upgraded to Andoid Kitkat and now Internal Storage is Half - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
I have my Samsung Note 10.1 (2012) with 32 GB internal storage, I upgraded to Kitkat using Samsung Kies and everything went very good, my applications and data were kept. The only issue I found was now my internal storage is shown as 16 GB and it is only using the 16 GB.
Can anyone help me on this issue? And give me tips to restore the other 16GB.
Thanks in advance,
Calvin

[Q] issues with internal memory and ROMS

Good After noon Guys, im fairly new to flashing roms. I have an Evo 4g lte and have installed (ROM) Sense 5 (4.1.2) Y10 & Y9 Cyan Blue Edition 2014-01-05
its great !!! love it.
my question today is that I have had issues with using the full 16 gb that is avalible on my Phone's internal memory. it seems that it doesn't matter which rom I use, I always only get 2gb internal memory and 2gb sdcard shown in the storage menu. with the current rom I have I see 14gb total memory but only 2gb is available. when I plug in to computer it only shows 2 gb not the full 14gb.
can some one explain to me what I can do to solve this issue thanks a lot Guys!:good:

Missing internal memory.

Hi guys,
Something strange happening (I guess)
On my 16 gb note 10.1 (n8010) I've got 11.66 gb of internal memory.
But only 7.26 is free.
What happens with the rest?
Or is this normal to have 4.4 gb internal storage used?
I've formatted my internal memory but nothing changed.
I understand that I am missing the 16 gb to 11.66 gb part. But why am I missing the rest?
So from 16 gb only 7.26 can be used used for storage.
I installed omega latest Jellybean ROM.

re-partition gt n7000 galaxy note

I need to repartition my galaxy note GT n7000 to extend the internal available memory from 2Gb to 4/6Gb. Currently i am running CM10 version on my phone. I installed CM10 using CWM.
Can some one suggest the process, I searched a lot and got some info, but was not clear how to apply it for my note.
regards
nithin
What do you exactly mean? How can you extend 2GB fixed storage to 4/6 GB?

my galaxy note gt n7000 has internal storage of 16 Gb out of which only 2 Gb is allocated for installing applications, remaining is for data storage. I ran out of space while installing applications.
so I would like to repartition the internal storage so that 4/6Gb could be allotted for installing Apps.

NO NEED FOR SHOUTING, we can read you very well
8g is the total storage space in the tab. A big part of it is used by the system to store the os and you can use only the remainder (which is about 4g). If you need more space i recommend getting an external sd.
