[Q] Group SMS issues on my OPO? - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am having some problems on my OPO's SMS system that's really starting to be frustrating. When I am present in a group chat eventually I will get an error on my notification bar that says, "Message not sent" and then I go back in the group chat but my messages were actually sent my friends respond back to me. I will post a picture of what it looks like. I clear the notification, and then when I receive or I send a text message, (group chat or individual) the notification will pop back up on the notification bar. To get rid of this pesky problem I have to clear my entire text message history then the notification will go away, but not for good. Once any of my friends in the group chat decides to send a text out in the chat I receive the notification once again.... It is very annoying. Anyone have any idea how to fix this??
Thanks in Advance.

previous text messages that are unread unless clicking on it in chat conversation!!!

Hello everybody,
Yesterday I installed HTC Touch Pro ROM update (2009)-Asia,ROM version: 5.07.707.2 and I disabled send notification bubble with registry key.
before changing the rom when I opened the chat conversation with someone and I got a new text message from that person, without closing the chat conversation when I sent a text message to that person the previous text message which I got shown(became) as a read text message.(actually at first it was unread but when I sent a text message it became as a read text message)
Now I open a chat conversation with someone and I dont close it and when I send and recieve text messages I have to click on the recieved text messages(or close the chat conversation and open it again) to sign it as a read text message, if not it is shown with a closed envelope besides it and LED Alert shows I have a new sms.
What should I do to fix this problem? I want to do something that when I answered a text message the previous text message that I got from that person does not show as unread !!!
Thank you.

One S sms bug?

Hello I just picked this amazing phone up yesterday and noticed that for SMS when I select I want delivery notifications on it does not show the messages delivered unless you have receieved sms notification on and then I get dual notifications showing as a check mark (normal) on the SMS I just sent and then I get one in the drop down bar as a notification telling me its successful. And when I turn the received SMS notification off I get no notifications at all for SMS being receieved or sent. But I do get the check mark on the SMS I sent... All I want is when I send an SMS, I want it to show it was delivered successfully with the check mark on the SMS alone. Not with a notification ringtone and drop down notification.
I know it was probably confusing but that's all I want. 2.3 did it no problem. So I know it can be done. Could be sense that's doing it too though.

SMS Test grouping?

If I send a text message to multiple people (with MMS turned off, so it actually sends SMS), it's grouping that text in it's own little section in the text messaging app, instead of putting the message inline with the rest of the conversations with the respective people. Is there a way to fix this? setting perhaps? It's very annoying!
Thanks,
--Glenn.
Because that is how group messages are handled...as their own conversation...you could try turning group messages off in the app settings...

Whatsapp Notification - LightFlow

For Whatsapp I have different LED settings for group messages and personal messages. However it seems that the notifications for personal messages are displayed instead of the group ones.
For example if I have a purple LED for private messages and white for group. The purple will still shine for all group messages
Does anyone else have this problem? The same happens with the vibration and notification sound.
Thanks very much guys!
I have the same issue.
A green light for normal WhatsApp messages and nothing for group WhatsApp messages, but the notification will still flash green when I receive messages from groups.
Note that I have disabled notification light in WhatsApp itself.
I have the same problem. Happened after I went to Lollipop.
Then I switched to a Moto X (2014), and still the same issue (group notification causes personal notification).
I'm having the same issue, this makes it hard to use Light Flow with all the group messages coming in. Suppose there isn't anyone who found a fix yet?
Making a profile for whatsapp group messages with everything turned off doesn't seem to work either...

I've got a fix coming for this very soon. Just finishing testing that group notifications still work when stacked up with other notifications. Whatsapp with lollipop actually raise several notifications for each message you see which is what causes the issue.

Gear S2 and Google Hangouts notification history

Ok so I just noticed something I would like if anyone could chime in on. When I receive a hangout notification on the watch, at the bottom of the message there is a "READ MORE>" button. Tapping this lets me read the hangout thread going much farther back than just the current message in the notification.
However, once you clear the Hangout notification, you cannot view it anymore which means you can't type into Hangouts until you get another message/notification.
My question is this, is it possible to re-open notifications after you clear them? That would be nice... then I could, in essence, initiate a Hangouts message to someone I already had a message history with, i.e. all my contacts!
No, once you clear them they are gone. Instead of clearing them, back out with the button and return to your watch face, then they will stack and still be able to be replied to.
Interesting same issue with WhatsApp but only when you get 2 or more messages from the same contact, if you click read more hoping to see the others unread messages watch goes bonkers back way beyond
