HOW TO FLASH​NEW USERS
-follow this step by step guide if you are:
A new user. Completely zero know-how about flashing
An old user but coming from stock firmware and wants to do a complete clean flash
An old and lazy user who likes complaining rather than reading
Requirements:
CWM Recovery by faqbly
-this is a recovery for flashing flashable zips such as ROMS, KERNELS, THEMES, ETC
Lava XOLO A700 device
-if this is not your device, stay away!
MIUIv4 ROM package
-obviously, please get it on 1st post
Prepare for flashing:
Backup all your contents, contacts, messages, notes, recording, porns, etc
Drink a glass of water and no matter what happen, never ever ever freak out
Flashing MIUIv4 ROM
Power Of Your XOLO A700, until it vibrate.
Enter CWM Recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Power key for 3 seconds or until you see XOLO logo.
Wipe Full Device, that means Data/Cache/Dalvik
Now, Scroll Down To Choose zip from SDcard, press power key
Again Press power key on install zip from sdcard.
Flash MIUI_XOLO.zip
You Are Done, Reboot Your Device Wait Till Boot. (Booting Can Take Upto 10 Min maximum)

Obviously on xolo a700. and I had followed steps I already used xtrance and lewaOs on it and I had many times flashed my Xperia S and Ion too. but this firmware is not at all workable. i tried it two times main issue is network and also the continuous error.

This ROM is tested by about more than 50, XOLO A700 user! And Reported to me that this is working without any prob!

cant do that even the tip of clearing data was very tough cause it constantly give android.phone stopped working error comes. and it was my cousins device he went back will test next version if there is any. I love MIUI so as I see it i downloaded and ran it but.... leave it. thanx any way

This is an UNOFFICIAL Build, so, it will not be supported from the official ColorOS Team.

I installed it and everything works fine except the app manager... When i press the middle button it asks me to conclude the action with google search or firefox search. Is there no app manager in the rom? Thanks for the great work.

Some friends of mine, reported that both The Panorama/HD modes are buggy.
This is related with OPPO's camera APP, i'll change that on next build and im also improving camera configs.
In The mean time, you can download, from The Play any other camera APP, in case you need HD/Panorama modes.

Did u use the kernel you released at the perfromace Kernel thread? Are you able to use stock darkmoon camera apk and music apk?

It looks very nice overall working, but seems some stuff not properly working:
- cannot change to custom ringtones, can find all custom ringtones in correct folder, but if I select them nothing is saved.
- touch hardware keys don't have vibrate feedback (cant find option to change it either)

dont forget is 1 build, so it takes a while until developer fix all bugs..also dont forget that the rom may not have some stock default features and have additional features that stock doesnt have..touch hardware keys doesnt vibrate on wiko rainbow also, but it light up as you see on the video review..ringtones you have a option to choose from sd card..anyways all feedback is appreciated..

Yes all that is correct, but unfortunably, choosing from sd card, or using 3rd party apps to use ringtones located in sd wont work at all. I can list all ringtones, I select I can preview them and save selection. But unfortunably it allways returns to "Colorful day" ringtone not keeping saved selection.
I'll be waiting for next updates.

Flashed and tested a few hours. Looks nice, but unfortunalellt no customization with Gravitybox. I miss feedback of the Bottom-buttons too.
Performance seems to be the same as stock. Short hangs when all my apps where installed, .... could be better.
I'm looking forward to test new releases.

My custom kernel is compatible with ColorOs, however , you'll need to change kernel rmdisk, becouse ColorOS uses its own Ramdisk...

flash the rom correctly by wiping "clean to install new rom" using philz and for playstore use this gapps only from opengapps.org i.e(ARM>5.1>PICO).
If u use any other gapps u will face more weird issues

There isn't port anymore. This is first CM11 ROM
Let's continue with this and accept this as a first CM11

Hi All , big thx kadjar for supporting this device
I flashed your Rom to my device today and seems to have all ok except some bugs
for now > 2 Bugs = Phone freeze when using video recording , you must remove and put battery again , & the second one is not big problem it's only rebooting when turning AirPlane Mode ON
1-Flashed stock rom
2-Rooted with iRoot
3-Install Busybox-38.apk
4-Install Rashr.RecoveryTools-2.3.8.apk
5-Install twrp-2860_kylevess.img using Rashr
6-Reboot to recovery
7-Full Wipe
8-Flash cm-11-20160106-UNOFFICIAL-kylevess.zip
9-Flash open_gapps-arm-4.4-micro-20160109.zip
10-Reboot & all is OK
waiting next release with bug fixed

PS:It is available to download by OTA App but there is a mistake. You have to follow this steps to download it by OTA App. (valid for BETA-1 users)

"otaid": "SiniTurk-cm11-kylevess", to "otaid": "cm11-UNOFFICIAL-kylevess",
And this is for the BETA-2 users; I've forgotten the change the time of ota.prop. So it tells "There is an update". To disable it;

While reporting bugs; about camera app, try to delete data of camera app and if it's still here, let it know to us.

This camera app has own decoder/encoder so it takes. Good idea to take video.

A : You need install root browser/file manager app, then go to systems/app, there are 4 additional camera in CameraDir folder, choose one of them, install manually, or make it flashable zip if failed while install the camera

RIL on single SIM is working, but I found some bugs:
1- Calls are working partially, you can make calls but can't answer an incoming call because there isn't any in-call ui
2- SMS are not working, and app gives FC, even installing any other messaging app doesn't work
3- ROOT is not working, but flashing SuperSU is enough to solve this.
Anyway, this is a great ROM, super smooth, thank you for your hard work.

First, thanks for your review, looks like all issues you've reported are same like my port on L9, there's no InCallUi, you can make a call, but there's no UI, no option to end the call, SMS not working also happened on my L9, I still try to fix it.
About rooting, all miui roms need flash SuperSU to get root access.

After 3 day of usage i noticed that some apps don't start at boot (like seeder WhatsApp foldermount ecc)

Waiting: Mi Tools Fix, Msim(RIL) Fix, functions all system

Plz will you fix Msim ril and make this ROM for daily use

I'm still working on to fix RIL issues, please be patient, and also make all features working on dual sim, cuase my device is dual sim
And please don't ask update about Lollipop/Marshmallow base, cuz it need Linux to do it, and I'll never make it, except you can do big donation so I can buy new Laptop running on Linux, I only have Laptop running on Windows 7, and the spec wasn't good enough to install Linux.
So once again, don't ask about update the Base rom, except you can do donation to make me upgrade my Laptop.

On home screen, The bottom app icons(setting, app store, tools, security) are not accessible. It cannot be moved or open. Fix it too.. And in Moto E dual sim model, both the sim cards are not working. Anyway thanks for your hardwork.. keep going..[emoji7]
