Hey guys...
I need some help with my xperia x10 mini pro...
I installed a aplication on my xperia ( Android Overlock )
And, i changed the LCD Sensivity on the aplication,
and, the android overclock says: "You need to Reboot Your Device".
Ok,I rebooted the device and now he wont turn on,it stops on the Sony Ericsson Logo...
And, i cant connect my xperia with my computer anymore...
Please,i need help!
Check if your device offers some kind of secure start up mode, where only system apps run, so you can remove the overclock/density app.

but,the xperia starts to vibrate and it reset.

Hello everyone . I have successfully rooted the XPERIA J but after installing the CWM mentioned in the thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2033114
My Xperia can boot into recovery all right but it doesnt turn on in NORMAL mode . When I press the power button the SONLY LOGO comes up and then the phone turns off.
I had to repair it using PC Companion. Can you tell what the problem is . I changed the model number in build.prop too but it didnt help.
Can you please provide a working CWM for Xperia J ?
Need it urgently for installing CM10.
Thanks in advance.

that cwm only works on .18 & .28 fw. thats why most people like me with unlockable bootloaders are stuck on primitive stock fw no one has developed a proper cwm for locked bootloaders yet

JUST INSTALL PC COMPANION.AND GO TO UPDATE OPTION.THEN GO TO REPAIR OPTION.THEN CONNECT U R PHONE....AND REPAIR THROUGH INTERNET. Thats it!!!!
IF U LIKE IT...PRESS THANKS!!!IT COSTS NOTHING!!!
it doesnt let me connect to the pc companion cause it says that the phone has a code lock and it tells me to remove the code lock but thats my problem i cant take out the code lock,is this companion solution the only one or(as i hope) there is the way to hard reset the phone directly from the phone?
thanks a lot
Try this. Turn the phone off. Hold both vol up and vol down. While holding it, press power on.
Now using:
Sony Xperia tipo ST21i
stock 4.0.4
11.0.A.4.22
(rooted, locked bootloader)
Current problem:
Cant get past installing flash drivers in xp.
dear bro we have only screen lock (like pattern lock) so we want only hard reset to phone not firmware update you suggest us for update by pc companion your idea is not wrong but its very long process and need high speed internet but in now days almost android phone have bootmenu key ( power.volume up down camera home etc) and using this keys we reset the phone easily and within seconds ......so why we go for pc companion ????
No. Sony do not have this kind of recovery in stock unrooted rom. If you did root it and have installed CWM, then you can hard reset from it. The only way is to use pc companion - repair.

Hey guys,
I have a xperia E (C1504)
I forgot it's screen lock pattern, entered no Google account before so that cannot be used to gain back the phone.
I want to hard reset it bt the reset method all over the Internet none of them is working even I tried flash tool bt it says that "bootloader cannot be officially unlocked".
To connect to pc companion I need the password. So basically I want a way out to hard reset this piece.
I need it very urgently.
Any help would be appreciated. Thnx in advance

Hi there,
I have this old device a friend gave me. Her father passed away and unfortunately the phone is still locked, which means we can't use the phone at all.
I emailed Sony Support, they told me to use Xperia Companion and fastboot mode to reset the phone, but unfortunately the phone is not supported by Xperia Companion anymore.
I managed to unlock the bootloader, but don't know where to go from here. Any way I can make this old thing fly again?
Thanks & Best Regards
