Looking for the most stable CM11 ROM there is out right now... But I see so many different varients including the official nightly version that I don't know which is the most stable version for daily use for everything including gaming and multimedia as well as the normal use of text data phone calls and occasional gps use... Please if anyone could help that would be great... Right now I'm currently running the stock debloated and rooted version... And one more question is there a difference in performance between the stock and cm11...

I use this CM11 rom everyday. It is stable and everything works for my use case. GPS, mobile data, WiFi, bluetooth etc all work.

Hi,
I'll be getting my brand new Xoom Wifi (EU) next week. Now that there's an ICS rom with camera and hdmi, I want to upgrade to ICS. I have some experience with rooting/flashing the Hannspree Hannspad but just to be sure. The steps to go from stock to Team Eos Wifi Nightlie (wingray/MZ604):
- root
- install clockworkmod
- flash zip from sd
Is this correct ?
Thanks

I am about 90% sure that's correct. Not feeling to well right now and its been a while since I flashed from stock. I am sure someone will correct me if necessary.

You can use the guide, below. I recommend that you read the 1st post thoroughly and at least read the last several pages as they may be somewhat relevant to your situation.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction !
Don't upgrade to any ics rom if you are planing to test drive or daily use the Xoom. You will not be able to play games that have 3d. Only native apps will work (some). I think its the build and not that its a new OS...but its a nightly so you can't complain. I'm going to relock my Xoom and wait for the official release. There is no real point in using a custom rom if you are at the newest OS and the horse power is great for gaming and working. There are plenty of apps that will give you customization without root. Overclocking is not that notorious but will drain the baterry faster so there is no gain. ICS looks awesome and devs are really genious but I think the rom will not be useful until the official update comes out.
I'm coming from the Hannspree Hannspad and on that tablet I've used all kinds of roms (different Honeycomb flavors). I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. From what I've read in the forums the current build is a fully functional ICS rom. Can someone shed a light on this ?
Games or apps that require 3d doesn't work. Even soul craft that is a ics compatible game. So its not ics ...its the rom. I'm not complaining its a nightly but people saying its a functional build...well it is if you stay with the stock apps and native made apps. But for me its not. List of apps that doesn't work that I use. AutoCAD,Photoshop, gta3 , every gameloft , dead space.... some other apps work but sometimes fc or refuse to open and have to reboot. Some will say its not the rom but devs not upgrading theyr apps for ics but I have seen games working and then not in every ics build. So there's that.
Most of the application works. gameloft's game is not working currently.
I m nw on teameos aosp build29 n i m very satisfy with this rom. It is extremely smooth n fast. camera is working now too.

Actually the nightly builds are quite functional for daily drivers. It depends on what you do with your Xoom. I'm not that much of a gamer, so I don't care much about that. Photoshop Touch works fine, but can't connect with Creative cloud (at least a few builds ago when I tried), most everything else works fine. Not all apps have made the changes needed for compatibility with ICS yet, so not really an Eos ICS Nightly problem.
All went smooth. Running ICS now! Heaven. Thanks a lot!
Edit: should cifs work out of the box? Using cifs manager but cannot mount shares
Edit 2: When upgrading to a new nightly: just wipe cache & flash zip ? (sorry can't post in the correct forum yet).
I have installed couple of ROMs with old and new base-band ,ginger based , ICS bases and JB based and all ended with viber crashing while talking and my device stays unresponsive for like 10 minutes the only way to get viber working is by using the stock firmware with old base-band foryo based

But for it worked well with some nightly of CM7 (I can't remember the exact version). May be you can try a few and check if it works for you too.
Hi guys,
This is Viber's rep, I'm here to assist.
@HTC Venom - Unfortunately Viber is not fully compatible with custom ROMs. :/
Do you have the latest Viber version (2.3.6)?

Viber

I always keep it up to date , though its nots a rom specific , but I managed to run it great with stock RomS
Hello, all
I have been looking around for ROMS to update my phone with (currently running 4.1.2) and the reason why I stay on it is because of its stability and 0 issues that it gives me. I've had it for a long time now, and as I was browsing through these new ROMS, I am seeing that they share the same problems and bugs (ex. bluetooth not working etc) and I was wondering if there are ROMS higher than 4.1.2 that I could rely on. I've tried 4.2 ROMS before but ended up flashing back my nandroid because it gave me various issues. Are there roms out there that I could use that would give me a stable experience? Thank you in advanced.

If you want near zero issue try to stay with current stock rom as much as possible (current released is 4.3, not 4.4), Give this a try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2600305
hi guys, i need to flash our p500 for the first time, the phone's rooted but i don't want flash 1000 times before find a good a stable rom for daily use, someone can tell me what's the best rom for p500 whit gps working and wifi? tnx and happy holidays!!

Had same problem, now I have
http://forum.xda-developers.com/opt.../rom-cyanogenmod-11-0-lg-optimus-one-t2828536
I had problem with all 4.0.4 ROMs that you cannot see caller ID (name) -takes some time to see it. This problem is ok in older ROMs but in 4.x.x ROMs are very good features. In 4.4.4 I have not this problem, only in somes case if system is under big load.
Hello.
I have a Galaxy Note 3 currently running the Vodafone official Lollipop ROM. I find it very sluggish and would like to speed it up.
Would I see any benefit in rooting my phone and going to CM13 or an alternative Marshmallow ROM ?
I have 2 apps that I use constantly - IBM Verse and VPNCilla, both of which I use for work. Would both of these apps work
on a custom ROM, as this would be a deal breaker if they did not.
If all of the answers to the above were yes, where would be the best place to download the necessary ROM etc, as it has been a while since I have done this.
Many thanks,
Simon

Yes marshmallow is more smooth relative to lollipop.
As for your apps it depends on the ROM, if the ROM you are using has a VPN bug it means you won't be able to use vpncilla properly ,just check known issues of the ROM before flashing to make sure
XDA is the good place to find development
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3238064 try any other if you don't like it ,lots of marshmallow based ROMs out there nowadays

Can you recommend an alternative ROM to the CM one, as it states on the link that was sent that there is a problem will Call Audio, which is a problem for me, as I use the phone to make calls.
Thanks.
