I would reflash the latest version of the recovery, or use another recovery. I personally use TWRP and have not seen this issue.
Is this for all ROMs or a specific one?
recovery
may i know - Wipe User Media - Stand For ? Wipe Internal Storage ?
Do i just have to install the .img whit cmd?
Cmd? You mean connect your smartphone per USB to your (windows) PC and use the CoMmandLine to use fastboot.

Just flash the rom reboot recovery then check if your recovery is still there.

Was about to flash from the OP, flashed this instead. Recovery (TWRP) still there after rebooting recovery.

Been trying to get the last piece, big part, for two days now.
Fuuuq! Did the BigPart partition and forgot to back up my current ROM, so when I attempt to reinstall I don't see my .zip plus when I reboot. I get the OS not installed.
Edit:
I'm all good! Fastboot flashed the HRI66_Stock-HC ROM and let the it update up to KK.

I still use it
I haven't built any new ones because the official TWRP has adb working now too. I prefer the older version though, it seems more reliable with backups, buy honestly haven't tried the latest official.
