Please help save my phone ha! I was trying to turn my verizon htc one m7 into a google play edition. When flashing the RUU it changed my bootloader from the stock white bg one to a black google one. I couldn't ever get the RUU to work right, it always would show "google" with the little lock at the bottom then just loop. So I tried to go back to my viperone rom but thats in some weird loop too. It loads, says google, then viperone boot logos. Then shows the lockscreen. But when I unlock it shows the green htc logo on white then reboots.
Is this because of the google bootloader vs the stock old white htc bootloader?
I am using the latest twrp, wiped everything when reinstalling viper but no change. Help!
EDIT* im reading that the GPE doesn't work with the verizon CDMA version. And reading about reflashing firmware it looks like the firmware/bootloader on my device now is probably not compatible with it being a cdma verizon version. So does anyone have a link to the cdma verizon firmware I can reflash and see if that solves my issue?

I rooted and S-offed my G/F's Desire to unbranded the UK vodafone version so that she was on stock, and thus would get updates like normal, i did this by flashing a RUU 1.47 - thus removing root but leaving S-off.
Her dippy brother thought he knew what he was doing and flashed the new 2.10 RUU so that she'd have sense 3.0.
It Apparently all went well, but then just hangs on the white HTC screen.
Can anyone Offer any help on how to fix this?
Edit: Fixed it, just flashed the 1.47 RUU again - sorted

Mate there is a software for flashing HTC phone via PC. I think you don't have cwm NCIS u flashed Ruu. So from the link get that software and install HTC drivers in PC. install that software and flash as cwm.forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=794638

I've sold my HTC One S and need to reflash it to stock. It was originally on Orange UK.
I can't find the Orange UK rom or RUU anywhere.
While I don't think the buyer will know or care what ROM it has, the HTC boot screen saying its running a software build owned by HTC doesn't really help.
Has anyone got any ideas of what I can do?

OKAY,
1. Try flashing stock recovery hopefully the initial boot image shall be gone ELSE
2. Save your CID, change it to generic CID like 11111111, run 2.2 RUU(EUR firmware or your firmware if available) (by this time you should have manually flashed stock recovery, and bootloader locked), after this your phone is completely STOCK! If wanna return back to orange, unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery, gain root and change the cid back to original! than flash stock recovery and bootloader lock!
Hi, I have a stock HTC One S, I downloaded the recently released ville OTA .zip and placed it in my phones /sdcard , and also unlocked the bootloader per HTC Dev's instructions.
I can get into the bootloader, but now I don't know what to do. Recovery starts with a green circle but turns to a red triangle with an exclamation point. What do I do next? Please provide complete details, I don't understand RUU's. Thanks in advance.
hi guys first time poster. I have a HTC One X Global edition. I was trying to root the phone and something went horribly wrong! Now I am stock in a boot loop and I can only go as far as the HTC White welcome screen. All I want to do now is flash my stock firmware and get my phone back. I have relocked to the bootloader and now am just trying to find my firmware! My CID is: VODAP021. I would really appreciate somebody's help. All i need is the firmware download to flash onto my device correct? I just cannot find the firmware anywhere ? Or is there another solution?
Alright so I rooted my phone around February and installed CM12.1 but because I want to get a replacement from HTC due to my friend dropping my phone and cracking the screen, so I need to unroot the device so I can use the warranty. Looking around there are some methods but they seem to not work correctly for my phone. And because I am a total dingus, I accidentally relocked the bootloader and now I can't reflash a custom recovery. I have tried installing RUUs from different threads on this site via hboot but they seem to not work. I don't know if anyone can help me if you can I really would appreciate it and would like to get this fixed as soon as possible. The CID is VZW__001 and the main OS on the bootloader says 3.28.605.4 but the box says 1.55.605.2 so I don't know which one is the correct one so if someone could clear something up and give me a link to a correct RUU for my phone that would be amazing. Have you tried re unlocking the boot loader?
