The new free version v3.1 of EveryWAN Remote Support is available from Sparus Software.
EveryWAN Remote Support Personal Edition will enable you to remotely view and control any Windows Mobile device from your PC using a local ActiveSync connection (via a USB/cradle or Bluetooth). It provides just a taste of the powerful capabilities of the full EveryWAN suite and - even better - this personal edition is free to download and use!
It fully supports Windows Mobile 6.5 devices.
Improvements in the free EveryWAN Remote Support Personal Edition:
- Selectable pencil colour for "white board" feature. Previously this was restricted to blue.
- Use keyboard shortcuts in the application, with the option to disable these shortcuts if required - The disable option is useful where conflicts may arise between local and remote functionality.
- Option to include recording of device skin in screenshot function.
- Improved File Transfer Tool: Find a file on the terminal - no need to navigate the file tree if you know the file name
- Opening simplified on the PC for a terminal-based file
- Added new skins: Sony Ericsson X1, HTC S740, HTC Touch 3G, Eten DX900, and others
- Improved Remote Display skin creation tool:
* ASR key codes.
* JPEG support
* Right-click a skin to edit or delete
Many more improvements in the Enterprise version (connected to EveryWAN Mobility Manager gateway server) like:
- New collaborative tool Text chat - the help desk and the user can use this chat client as an alternative means to communicate in areas where the VOIP function is not practical.
- Improved display terminals connected, which can now:
* Search user by their name or partial name match
* Expand / Collapse the group tree
- Periodically refresh the user list automatically
- User configurable display option, allowing sort and display of device information – e.g. device model instead of serial number.
...
You can now download EveryWAN Remote Support.
You are welcome to give any feedback on the product. I like feedback on our work and I can improve it for next version if something is wrong or missing.
Where's it gone?
Quick one on EveryWAN RS..
Links to the file seem broken, any idea what's going on?
The full suite seems pretty solid and might be worth looking at for one of my projects but atm I could really use just the RS PE for my own phone..
Anyone have a copy of v3.1 they could link up for me?
Cheers
Hello,
ServerAuditor application is available on Google Play now (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.server.auditor.ssh.client). We released it a couple of days ago. We are linux developers mostly and sometimes would like to have remote access through remote devices. This is initial release and more features are coming. Client is implemented from scratch and it isn't a clone of some opensource SSH client implementations.
We appreciate any feedback which would have to make our application easier to use as we believe it is possible to have convenient mobile SSH client.
Version 1.4
It's been a while since my latest update. Now we completely reworked the UI and added several features like port forwarding. Please also note that an app has a new URL in the market.
Version 1.2
- Aliases are finally available.
- A lot of new cool color schemes.
- Incredible copy-paste implementation. Allows instant search of copied buffer in Google or Serverfault.
- A lot of bug fixes and improvements.
- Colours support and connection grouping
- SSH scripting and ability to execute one command on several servers for easy cluster managment
- Port forwarding
- Smart command and filesystem navigation (we aren't 100% sure how we will exactly implement this, so some tests needed, any ideas are appreciated).
Version 1.1
- Full xterm support
- Incredible improvement of the rendering speed!
- Close all connections functionality
- Various UI improvements
- New option 'Background connection's timeout'
- Hackers keyboard is supported
- Redesigned help page
- Bug fixes for certain Android devices
Version 1.0.2
- Crash on Nexus fixed
- Import keys functionality implemented
Version 1.0.1
- We tried to make access to control keys more convenient than in existing SSH clients
- Meta-actions (like shake for CTRL-C and Volume buttons are used).
- Easy connection and keys management.
- Gestures like swipe up/down/left/right are used for replacing corresponding terminal buttons.
We would like to know which features by your opinion are most important and shortcomings of current version
Thank you for your time!
Dmitriy.
Please check for new update.
BEST ssh client out there! Much better, much more up to date than Connectbot.
Thanks, Jewremy!
We have just published Server Auditor in Amazon app market (http://www.amazon.com/Crystalnix-Se...qid=1344677892&sr=8-1&keywords=server+auditor).
Are there any plans to support Tasker and/or Intents, so the SSH client can be launched, connected before Tasker (or any other automation program) launches a task? Being able to disconnect and close the client would be crucial as well (this last part is something ConnectBot can't handle afaik).
Hi, ppc_dan.
We are going to release next version with support of terminal colors soon. At the moment we have several feature requests (like scripting support, grouping, etc). Thank you for your suggestion, I think we will try to implement Tasker support within our scripting support task.
ServerAuditor has gained a huge update. Please find the most significant changes below:
Version 1.1
- Full xterm support
- Incredible improvement of the rendering speed!
- Close all connections functionality
- Various UI improvements
- New option 'Background connection's timeout'
- Hackers keyboard is supported
- Redesigned help page

Enjoy!
This is a great app. My only suggestions are to add the ability to use aliases. It would be nice since a lot of my connections are also remote connections with a FQDN so they all look the same but the port.
Also I'm trying to add keys but i cant seem to figure it out. I have tried to attach both a public key and a private key. (created by puTTy) with no success.
Thanks again for the app.

I have the same problem. I've imported a private key that is in OpenSSH format and attached it to a connection. Authentication fails and falls back to asking for password. The same key works great when using Bitvise on my laptop.

Might have to do with version of Android. My original HTC Desire with 2.2 won't work. But my Transformer with 4.x works with the exact same key.

Port Forwarding
in the OP it says that Port Forwarding is possible.
Can someone explain how I do this? I can't find the setting anywhere...
thanks!
Hi,
I recently bought a Bluetooth heart rate monitor to use with my Verizon Galaxy S3. It uses Bluetooth 4.0, and I found out later that apparently almost no Android phones (including the S3) include support Bluetooth 4.0 (at least as far as I understand this). I've been trying to search for info on this and haven't really found anything except it's not currently supported.
Does anyone here have any idea of how close support is? I've seen some suggestions that it might be in Jelly Bean, but I haven't been able to verify that yet. Also, I guess just having BT4.0 support isn't enough, it would also need some sort of heart rate monitor profile, so if you know anything about when this might be included I would be very grateful!
Thanks,
Jon
Wow I am shocked at my results of findings on this. I was also under the impression 4.0 works. I wanted a smart watch.........
Samsung does know about this issue, here http://goo.gl/TgAFA (very very long link)

I hadn't found that before, but it doesn't surprise me. What I haven't been able to find out is if this is something the developers who create custom ROM's can add this themselves, or they will have have to wait for Samsung (or Google?) to add it?
Interesting, and Bluetooth 4.0 is what Apple is touting to use as a replacement for NFC - it would probably behoove Samsung to get this working properly (sounds like they are responding positively in their developer forum).
From the manual:
Bluetooth
Your phone supports Bluetooth® 4.0.
Bluetooth profiles
Bluetooth profiles are specifications for services supported
by individual devices. Profiles improve the ability of different

Is there a way to enable the "PAN" profile on The HTC One X running ICS?
Under the settings of the specific paired device, there is no PAN profile available to select.
Someone suggested to edit the build.prop file.
Any suggestions if this would work?

PeerDeviceNet connects your mobile devices (phones and tablets) through WI-FI or WI-FI Direct network to enable sharing across devices. It allows a group of devices share web pages, contact information, pictures, videos and other documentations.
Features:
1. Safe direct connections.
Your devices connect to each other in direct connections. Nobody can connect to your device without your permission or active participation. All connections are secured using TLS/SSL.
2. One click connection setup.
In most home WI-FI networks (which support multicast) or using WI-FI Direct, Simply pressing "Search and connect" buttons on all peer devices will connect them together. You can also connect devices by entering ip address.
3. Easy to use
PeerDeviceNet extends Android's standard "send and share" capability to remote devices. You go to apps which "own" the data you are interested (such Contact app for contact information, Gallery app for photos and videos), select or show the data and click "share" or "send" button. PeerDeviceNet will be among the list of targets thru which you can send data.
You can choose multiple data items to send, or a whole folder of photos to send at the same time.
You can choose to send data to one, a few or all connected devices.
4. Flexible multitasking.
All devices participating PeerDeviceNet can send data to each other simultaneously. It can safely run in background while you are running other apps. You can add new data to send at any time.
Support android 2.2 and up.
market link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xconns.free.peerdevicenet
PeerDeviceNet is also a framework. It provides reusable components and local services which can help developing connected mobile applications. You can use PeerDeviceNet connection manager to connect your devices, and reuse the secure connection features. Via PeerDeviceNet, your apps can send messages to peer devices using high level Android intents and messengers; or communicate thru IDL interfaces to gain fine grained control of messaging and device connection behaviours.
More details can be found at web site: http://www.peerdevicenet.net .
Comments and suggestions are welcome. Bug reports are highly appreciated.

There are a few differences from Kies:
1. Kies depends on computer. you connect devices to computer thru USB or wi-fi, upload data and sync to other devices. Similar to cloud based sharing (iClooud, dropbox), you upload files to could and sync to other devices. PeerDeviceNet use peer-peer direct connections among devices to allow them share files and data directly, without computer or server in middle. You even donot need external wi-fi if devices are wi-fi direct enabled; you can connect the devices directly.
2. PeerDeviceNet is more for ad-hoc connection and sharing, not for "syncing". If you want to share some photos and videos with friends or document with teammate, you just need a simple "send" function, PeerDeviceNet is for that.
3. PeerDeviceNet is also a free runtime to enable connected mobile apps. You can use it write mulit-player GUI apps or multiplayer games. There are some sample projects and tutorials at web site: peerdevicenet.net
Thanks for comments.

PeerDeviceNet did use WI-FI Direct as one way to connect devices. It adds flexibility of multitasking on top of plain vanilla wi-fi direct. You can send files and receive files simultaneously. If you are sending large video files, you can let it run in background, start others apps; and add new send sessions at any time.
Also majority of devices out there do not support wi-fi direct (from what i read, even new generation of kindle fire do not support). PeerDeviceNet allows you connect these devices thru wi-fi and share data with the ease of one-click connection similar to wi-fi direct.

With FreetzMobil you could control various features of Freetz. You could query the state of the memory, swap, mounted devices and log files. Also you could view the status of the daemons and change it. The internet connection could be reestablished and the box coul be rebooted.
Newest features: Status of SMARTmontools, OpenVPN and ppp-cgi, diversions, telephone answering machine, alarm clock, ring blocker, wlan (guest, 2.4 & 5 GHz), Lan4-guest, dect, capi, USB remote access, mediaserver, ftp-server, samba, night timer.
This app contains English and German localisations.
Requirements
You need a Fritz!Box by AVM which uses a firmware based on version 1.2, 2.0(rc) or trunk of Freetz.
The security level "0" has to be set, see http://tiny.cc/a4qzcw
The connection uses the Freetz web interface, which runs mostly at port 81. To use FreetzMobil via the internet you have to forware this Port and use DynDNS. To set up this forwarding use the AVM-Firewall: http://tinyurl.com/5whw56r
Speed
The processing speed depens on many facotrs. First the connection: UMTS has a higher latency than local WLAN. Also the Fritz Box itself could slow down. A FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170 has a crucial slower cpu and only a quarter of memory than a AVM FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7390.
DONATE: If you encrypt the connection with SSL (via stunnel or lighttpd) it will a bit more slower.
Donation
No self-promotion in the app.
Access cia encrypted HTTPS is available
More than 2 devices could be created
You support this app and further development!
