Hi everyone,
I have a Ployer momo9 III tablet and I recently flashed a new ROM. The installation was successful and the tablet was able to boot-up to the main screen. The problem now is the touchscreen is not working (i can't type the keyboard or swipe the screen). I tried plugging a mouse using a USB-on-the-go converter and it was working fine.
I have run through the other similar threads but most of them involves custom ROM. And there were others that mentioned something about installing touchscreen firmware but i can't make sense of what the discussion is all about.
So let's cut to the chase. My questions:
(1) other than flashing the ROM, is there any other steps that i might have missed out? Example: driver installation, etc
(2) Now that the touchscreen is not functioning, what are the other options available for me to revive the tablet? I have tried flashing a custom ROM but it doesn't work. Maybe the ROM was not compatible.
(3) Appreciate if anyone would share a ROM that works on the Ployer momo9 III tablet.
FYI, i got the ROM from their official website (http://www.ployer.cn/cn/download_Gujian.aspx?DownloadID=63) but i have to admit that i am not sure if it is the correct ROM despite it labeled momo9 as it has several models to the momo9 line-up. I have tried contacting the manufacturer to get confirmation whether the ROM published on their website is compatible with my tablet but unfortunately there is no response.
Thanks in advance!!

Want to install JB on this tablet. Search is no help. It has ICS 4.02 installed.
Moved to General Q&A.
Have you had any luck finding the Android USB drivers for any of the iRulu devices?

I would like to bump this, would be more than happy to brick the device to get it working. My company is looking at this for a great replacement for a laptop to configure web devices through the Ethernet.
Tools for flashing JB to Allwinner devices
I am looking for the same as well. I've got the AN101 but I haven't been able to find the compatibility pack for mine but I am assuming you guys have found the main thread for JellyBean on Allwinner devices here?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821398
Searching for my device hasn't been fruitful yet. Hopefully it helps you guys.
BTW my device came rooted out of the box so I am not as focused on USB drivers as I am finding a compatibility pack to flash JB over top of ICS. still need a cable but might not if I can flash everything from the sd card. Just need to flash CWM, then the new ROM, then the compatibility pack, then GAPPS. Should be good to go once I find this damn compatibility pack.
Hello there everybody!
So I've recently bought my phone "Huawei G750-U10" running on this ridiculus MT6592 chipset.Since I just could not stand the stock 4.2.2 JB ROM I decided to flash a ported version of "Huawei G750-T00" KK ROM for my device (found it on some German website I guess "android-hilfe.com" if I'm not mistaken).Any way I flashed the damn thing after so many difficulties and literally EVERYTHING has gone better since 4.2.2 except for the fact that I cannot make calls due to the IMEI problem.Wifi works more consistantly ,bluetooth speed has improved slightly, and normally on 4.2.2 I'd have only around 800 MB of free RAM but It's increased to 1.1 GB of free RAM.I mean it's just pissing me off knowing that such a thing so tiny can ruin the day.I've Googled my problem , searched every each site you could think of but I don't seem to be able to get anywhere with it.The only thing I've not dared to do was reflashing a downloaded stock rom again (that just seem a little bit frightening) so to put this in a nutshell I've 3 questions:
1-Will I be able to fix this problem at all?
2-If so any working solutions for this specific version?
3-And will I be able to regain my baseband through flashing a downloaded stock rom?
P.S: Please post newbie-friendly comments.I'm not a pro! xD
Thanks for your sincere help in advance.

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Short answer, no.
Long answer, there has to be a lot of similarities between two devices in order for them to be capable of sharing the same firmware (or ROM). Bare minimum, they must have the same chipset and partition layout, or you will end up hard-bricked (something noone ever wants). The rest of the hardware has to be the same (or similar) too, or you will get a bootloop after installing, or less often, a feature that won't work.
The only time I have seen a ROM closely matching two devices is when two models are made by the same manufacturer, and even then, there are subtle glitches in the function of that ROM for the other device (such as auto-rotate not working).
At any rate, you can create an account, and post a thread in > Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting asking if there are any ROMs, or plans for ROMs for this device.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hello everyone,
I'm using "Alcatel One Touch POP C5 5036D". The problem is, this phone is so slow that it takes about 30+-seconds to open up any app or function. i tried some custom Roms but all have some bugs or i don't like them. i searched many times but couldn't find an easy way to install stock rom but an Official Tool that installs stock firmware from their server & it takes so long. Even couldn't find a single rom that's fast enough & works everything perfectly. As i have mentioned earlier returning to Stock ROM is such a pain.
Now i'm asking for help to all you Developers, please can you make it easier for this phone users to install stock firmware like we download the Firmware package & install it with SP Flash Tool or something like this? Please it's my heartiest request to you all if you can, make this thing simple or make some ROM that really works fine for this phone users & oblige us.

Hi,
Thank you for using XDA assist
It looks like there is no dedicated forum for your device. However there is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can try to ask to get the expert's help
Good luck.

Hello everyone,
I'm here today to SEEK HELP. I have bought a variant of Wiko Slide 2 aka Cloudfone Excite Prime here in the Philippines. I wanted to make my personal back for this device that is flashable via SPFlashTool. Or make ".img" files for short. I already know how to that on my previous devices but that was KK having 3.4.6 kernel. This is my first LOLLIPOP device that is why I needed some advice and help.
My questions are:
1. How will I know if my bootloader is locked?
2. Is it necissary to unlocK the bootloader so that I could make full back up?
3. Can I directly back up this via MTKDroidTools(the most convenient back up method I ever tried for MTK)? Since it is using different kernel.
4. How do I make custom recovery or CWM for Lollipop(kernel 3.10.x) based?
That would be all for now. Please help me I really don't know stuffs for Android L since it is different from older versions. Thank you :good:
Hi,
I can't find anything on your device here on XDA, aside from this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/help-root-wiko-slide-2-t3279083
I doubt that will help you, so I suggest you try asking all of your questions in one thread created here,

Good luck!
