Dear Developers,
I've got the Zopo ZP980+ and i'm kind of a noob on this things. My previous phone (Huawei) is fully broken after messing around with several ROM's so I need some assistance.
If I want to flash a custom rom, by example the Archidroid ROM, do I need a special build for my device? And there are kind of a lot forums on XDA, so what would be the right place to ask things like this? (There isn't a subforum for the Zopo smartphones)

Hello Everyone,
this is my first thread so be gentle,
I was searching for various custom ROM's for my not extremely well known phone the Lenovo A706_ROW,
Anyway I found this interesting, ( need rom . com / download / minirom-s5-style/ )
(I could not post the link as to prevent spam but you get he idea just look it up, just remove the spaces or google it or something)
I wasn't sure if I could trust the site confused and info as this is my only phone and will not be getting a new one for a long time,
so if anyone has had a previous experience with this site ( and hopefully this ROM )
I would appreciate it if you could share it with me
And your opinions about the ROM and perhaps more ROM suggestions would be nice

I was thinking if anyone using Lenovo a3300gv porting android 5.0 rom for this device.Besides,there is no extra forum for the mentioned device.So i have a request to the moderators if they can open a forum for android developing for the mentioned device an the tablet section.It will be really helpful for the device's user to find new things for the device.Also I am a noob .So suggestions are always welcomed.

Custom ROM's are specially tailored to the device, so you will need to find a developer who has the same one. However, I couldn't find anything of that make and model.
At any rate, create an account, so you can post in the rest of the site. Particularly, you will want to the [HELP THREAD] Ask ANY Question. Noob Friendly thread of the > General discussion > Questions and Answers forum. Be sure the share the same specs of the device as you did here, so they know what they are working with.

Hello.
I would try the above links first. You may find others with the same tablet. Otherwise (and this has been done for other devices, even popular ones), you may need to give a device (same make and model) to an interested developer (as they don't like to build blindly).
Not a whole lot of options, but that is something you can tease out (if there are more) on the General Q&A forum.

rather than taking all this headache do you think installing a ROM of a tablet that shares similar specs will help or would it brick my tablet and I would also like to help people like you i can help in apps can you recommend me where can i find threads about apps

Glad you are interested in helping out!
The > Android Development and Hacking > Android Apps and Games forum contains many apps, and a few questions regarding apps. But really, (it seems) most app questions will go through to the > Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum (the one I linked before - sort of a catch-all question forum for rare devices and not particular to a device at all).
With regards to the tablet, one with similar specs (read....chipset) can help a developer out as a starting point, but the ROM will still need to be customized for that device to avoid bootloop.
Time to release you out into the world! The Purpose of XDA Assist is to point those who need assistance in the right direction, not to be a helpdesk (which I am fine with providing a little extra information, like the above paragraph ). With the forums mentioned in this thread in hand, you should be off to a great start with XDA. Take care.
Hey guys, I just wanted to ask how I may go onto flashing Android onto this Chinese Fake Iphone.
What i've gathered so far is that this fake Iphone has sometype of Android already on it. I just want to know how I may go to reformatting and flashing a new rom on it.
