[Q] Looking for someone who can answer some questions! - Other Tools & General Discussion

Hi there,
Unfortunately I have little understanding of the working and making of applications. A friend and I came up with an idea and participated with a ING and Google Jumpstart event in Amsterdam to expand the idea. Unfortunately there was no contact who could help us answering questions regarding the making of an application. Simply explanation of the idea: The FriendsZone app, an application for events like festivals where everybody loses their companions on the event once in a while. With this app you can find your friends and family on the event site.
At the moment I am very busy with my own study Leisure Management and I am unable to find someone in real person who can help me with this idea and maybe help me with further contacts.
I am hoping I will find the right person on XDA but any question or hint is welcome!
Thanks for your time!

A bit more explanation of the idea:
We have been going to events and festivals for many years. And once in a while everybody lost their friends, boyfriend, girlfriend or even a family member in the big crowd on the event site.
Why are we always trying to reach them by calling them even if we know you are not able to hear them because of the noise or the music? You are looking forward to the event for days, weeks and sometimes even for months and on the particularly event you are wasting your time with useless searches to find the person you lost earlier. How useful and nice would it be if you know where they are in just a couple of seconds!?
The FriendsZone application will resolve one of the biggest irritations on events. With this application you are able to find your friends on an exclusive map of the events by GPS and Wi-Fi. You can accept people and place them in your own group like "Friends" "Family" or other groups that you can rename. You are always able to block your GPS system so you are in control of your own privacy.
On the event map you can place a self made meeting point to meet with another person or a group and continue the party!

Adding Background Noise During Call

I am quite pessimistic about this, since I have already searched around but found no positive result... And yet, I thought it would be worth a try asking you xda guys about this: Is there a way to add a background noise whilst during a call? For example, you could be in a conversation with someone telling him that you are on the road, with sounds of traffic etc. supporting your claim, while in reality you would be in the couch of your living-room...
There are apps doing this trick for other platforms (e.g. symbian), but I haven't found anything for WinMo yet... Any ideas?
yeah, i'm still searching for a "call cheating" for windows mobile too....
I 've been searching for this since win 2003. still can't get one.
If someone here could do that, it will be great...

That's when they use their second mobile to call your fixed line at the same time

Cheating on your wife/gf/bf maybe? How do you know they cannot trace you via GPS? Just a thought....
There is an application named SounderCover providing this function for Symbian S60 phones, but I don't know if there is a version for WinMo.
I've been looking for something similar except as a prank application.
A bit like Phone Jacker. The application dials somebody, and then presents the user with an array of buttons. Each button speaks a different bit of text over the phone.
I've seen something similar to this on a friends iPhone, but it can't actually dial out and make calls. It just makes sounds, so you basically have to hold your mobile against another phone.
Please let me know anybody if you've come across anything like this.

[APP][4.0+] ProjectX: Stick to the place and have your updates

I've got an idea recently what if I want to see pictures from the places not from the person. Unfortunately I didn't find any good implementations of this simple idea. To tell the truth, I had found two projects but I found them too complicated and not really serving the simple idea Stick to the place and have your updates.
Here is how my implementation works. First, you have to subscribe to any area you want to receive notifications from:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Notice that after area is selected you'll be asked how often you wish to receive notifications from this particular area.
Basically, that's it. You may have as many subscriptions as you wish.
When new picture is made in this area you receive a notification.
In order for system to satisfy users there should be some way for the new pictures to populate the service. And this way is making one picture when user opens this application where ever he is located at the moment. Making any street view picture for the user shouldn't be a problem. Besides, it's not about art.. it's only a snapshot of what is actually surrounding you at the moment. To avoid annoyance on app start I added friendly option to skip making a picture. Obviously there are some situations when it's not convenient to make a street-view picture although user is curious to see what is this notification he received about.
Anyway, when picture is made or not you're getting an access to the map with all markers. Any new notifications will be put on map automatically and there's no need to make any new snapshots.
Also there's a way to filter markers in case you want to see only a certain markers on the map:
Get it on GooglePlay: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.project_x.pavel.myapplicationx
(SORRY IT'S NOT FORMATTED AS A LINK AS XDA-DEVELOPERS DOESN'T ALLOW TO INSERT LINKS FOR NEW MEMBERS)
Please feel welcome.
Give it a try.

[APP][Material Design] Relish, discover new places to eat and invite your friends!

What's up guys, we're very excited to launch our Android app, Relish! It's a social dining app that seeks to make getting your friends or coworkers together for lunch or dinner dead simple.
It's completely platform agnostic. Your friends/coworkers don't need the app, have to care about the app, or even have an Android device to let you know if they're down. You simply create an invite, select from your phone contacts, email contacts, or twitter followers and Relish takes care of the rest in the background, super fast.
Your friends respond the exact same way they were invited. You get all of the RSVPs right in the app.
SMS & Email
Here's what text and email invites would look like to your friends

They can simply text back YES or NO, or alternatively click Accept or No thanks in the email and you will be notified within the app.
Twitter
You can also invite your friends on Twitter the same way. They'll receive an invite tweet message from @relishInvites, and can favorite the tweet if they're down, or just ignore it if they're not. All tweets are deleted after 24 hours. Just like text & email you'll get a notification in the app that "Jane Doe has responded to your invite!"
You can also send cash to your friends right in the app, for those lunch outings where your bill comes and someone is short on cash but has a card available. We've integrated with Venmo directly to allow you to split your bill and send some money to your friends right at the table.
The social dining space is a bit of a graveyard, and we think Relish has a lot of potential to be a strong player in the space. We eventually want to integrate reservations via Opentable or Yelp to allow you to book your reservation after everyone has responded to your invite

Excellent app mate, are there any possibility to see which sentences or phrases are repeated in the chats?
Sent from my XT1042 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Glad that you like it, that's always nice to hear.
As for the sentences and phrases, while it would theoretically be possible to add such a feature, it would require a lot of computing power (at least a lot more than a modern smartphone has) to do this in a reasonable amount of time. As you might have noticed it already takes a little while to analyze larger chats and this would make that time even longer.

[APP][4.0+] Mushi - Connect with People Anonymously

Introduction:Mushi helps you to connect with like-minded people by letting you express yourself and exchange thoughts, without giving away any personal details.
Description:We all face different challenges when finding new friends on the web. On social networking portals, you have to know the person in order to find a place in his friend’s list. On the other hand, dating portals display your pic and other details for the world to see. On chatting portals, you might be anonymous, but you would waste a lot of time finding people with similar interests or might run into pervs.
Mushi was created with all these things in mind and is a great way to meet new people. It works in two simple steps:
1) A person posts a small message to tell other worldwide users what he / she is seeking.
2) People who want to chat with the author accept the message. Chats are completely anonymous unless you choose to mention personal details. The User is able to chat with any person on the globe.
The posting and accepting of messages from the message board is restricted to 4 per day. However, once you accept a message or vice versa, you can have a one-on-one conversation without any restrictions.
