does anyone know how i can fix this or if it is a known fault?
It will start on it's own by swiping up on the lock screen

Im running Glorious Overdose V2 but I had this issue with other roms as well for some reason my touchscreen sometimes doesnt respond. In order for it to start working again I have to lock and unlock my phone sometimes it happens frequently and other times it doesnt. Any tips on how to fix this issue?
Sorry no tips on how to fix, but I'm running stock and it happens to me too. I though it might have to do with my crappy screen protector or me somehow messing with the optical trackball, but it seems not since you're experiencing the same issue.

Nope
I tried the app and it didn't help at all and sometimes my phone also starts randomly selecting as if I touched it.
Its a hardware problem. Samsung claims its a software problem but I doubt it. It happens to me all the time and I've posted threads about it as well.
What I have found is that any sweat or liquid on your fingers that gets left behind on the screen causes it to act sporadically. All you can do is constantly clean your screen when the phone is locked.

i have this problem, but i have noticed its only after iv gotten my hands wet. i kinda figured it was 1$ screen protector.
My screen would do the same thing until i bought one of the sk screen protectors. Haven't had that problem since.
So my phone has started to get massive wakelocks after it crashes when I use the camera sometimes. Pic attached of battery graph. Any suggestions or anyone else with this problem?

Hi everyone, first post on xda
I have an issue with my s4 mini.
At random times when my phone is locked and i try to wake it up the screen stays black but my menu and back buttons still light up like normal so also when i push the power button again the lights also go off. The only solution is a restart or battery pull.
Has anyone else had this problem and does anybody have a solution? Thanks in advance!

Don't worry about that. Those tipic grafic glitches are usual in a lot of devices. I have a Xperia L and it is happening to me nowadays. Don't Worry!
LUCK!

I'm not really worried but it's just a real inconvenience when i have to restart my phone 6 times a day... it's not life threatening but it would be nice if that would stop

Hi, from i had my Xperia z5 everything was 100% up until 6 months in whenever the fingerprint scanner would stop working intermittently the signal started getting worse and worse. I was just wondering has anyone managed to find a way to fix these issues through rooting? Or without sending it off. If it can be fixed without sending to Sony id rather do it just. I have searched the forums but can't find any fixes as such. Thanks for any replies:good:
flash latest european firmware and wipe everything
Would this solve the fingerprint issue?

If it's a soft problem just flash over the latest Ftf, It should fix it, but if it's an hardware problem we can't do anything sorry
