Hi guys,
All of a sudden my dad's phone is behaving weird. I am not able to access the playstore and gmail. First of all the playstore was asking for a google account to be associated. And when I tapped on add it crashed. I went to the settings->Accounts and sync->add account and there was no google account option. I'm not an android user so I'm unsure if I remember this right but there should be google account option to be added. I tried to hard reset the phone but it does not seem to work. I mean it is not getting formatted fully as I still see the superuser. Btw I had rooted this device but I can't remember with which method. As I said earlier I'm not an android user so I'm not much into it. Dad came to me with this problem and I'm still trying to figure it out how do I get it sorted. Please if anyone can help me with this I would be grateful.

Good afternoon all. I need either a bit of help or some suggestions. Since there is no official Verizon Lg G Vista thread I thought this would be the right place. I had spotify on my old Droid Razr M and I just upgraded yesterday to the Lg G Vista. I have all of my old apps back but when I try to open spotify it is just a blank screen and the phone does nothing. Is there any way to move the app to the SD card maybe? That is the only fix I could think of. I would like some suggestions on how to fix Spotify not running. Thank you!

You may want to do factory reset then install the app from play store without restoring any backup of the app.

unfortunately i had uninstalled the launcher , as i was getting rid of some installed themes ..... the phone went blank ... all apps disappeared and when i restarted the phone ..... only the android logo still remains ........ i did not know this would happen ....
how can i get the phone to go pass the startup screen

I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device. You likely need to install the stock firmware again. You may need to contact the manufacturer about that and flashing instructions. You can register on XDA and ask for help here too,

Hey, new user here.
Please guys if there is anyone who has found a safe and phone specific rooting method for this phone please help. I recently got it as a gift from China. Changing the language does not get rid of the annoying Chinese text on certain apps i cant even delete. Furthermore, no Google Apps come with the phone (i guess as a result of China hating Google).
Also, is it possible to use other similar Lenovo rooting methods or do i risk bricking my brand new phone?

I have a simmtronics xpad freedom tablet running on android 4.2.2 . unfortunately I uninstalled my mediastorage.apk app from the system by using link2sd app. So I'm having a lot of problem now like I cannot set ringtone, music player not working, camera functioning improperly. Please anyone help me to reinstall. I've the apk backup of the app but its not installing. It shows app not installed after showing installation popup.

So Today I rooted my tablet. Nx700qc next book 7 I did all the XDA things or whatever. Then I wanted to move my apps to my SD card so I got an app. But here is my problem it made me install a nodded version of gplay. Now I can't use gplay. I tried everything. Installing a new apk clearing the cache data etc I went as far as resetting my tablet but now there is no google play icon even! Its not on my tablet! What can I do to totaly reset everything I unroofed reset but now I am left with tab with no apps and no gplay please help my parents will kill me :crying:
