I wonder if we can build Safestrap 3.75. Maybe we'll be able to flash CM and ktoonz like on jfltevzw. Who cares if we don't have full-fledged TWRP or CWM, we just want some damn freedom. If anybody is willing to do teamwork on it, I'm totally in bruh!
P.S.- TouchWiz is really pissing me off. Officially the most horrendous skin over ANY version of Android!!!

Until someone builds something later than Safestrap 3.75, the answer is no. Anyone willing to work on it? If we do build it, we gotta find out how they built it on the VZW S4, and kinda port it over to d2vzw. Big Red can't stop us now!!!
samsung galaxy i535 verizon dead bootloader due to safestrap
i have installed safestrap in samsung i535 verizon 4.3 vrucml1 lock bootloader. After creating rom slot i have installed custum ROM. Restarted device after Samsung logo it show black screen. I pulled out battery and reinserted it and pressing power button no responds from device its need JTAG .after repairing dead boot I entered in download mode and flash official 4.3 vrucml1 through Odin. The ROM is installed as usual but after reset device show black screen without show anything like Samsung logo. Its again need JTAG. 3 time I try to installing official ROM through Odin its installed successfully but after reset the device bricked.and need JTAG services. Please help me.thank u very
Only See 1/4 of Safestrap Screen (s3/i535)
I've tried a few different times to install Safestrap but the only thing I can see on my i535 Safestrap recovery screen is the top left of the Safestrap screen. My S3 is running 4.4.2 NE1 (kernel 3.4.0) and I've tried Safestrap 3.62. 3.71, and 3.75. I've tried flashing back to NE1 and starting over a few times but no joy. Any ideas?

Your on a locked bootloader, you can't flash custom roms. You can flash safestrap and run specific touchwiz roms only

Chainfire has not updated his CF-Root kernel for latest JB ROM versions.
Have a look at PhilZ-kernel instead.
This is a rooted stock kernel (so quite similar to CF-Root kernel), but with a nice touch CWM recovery.
You can flash the kernel tar file in PDA section of Odin, but Phil3759 provides his kernel also as signed zip file, which can easily be flashed in stock recovery from your external sd card (without triggering the custom flash counter).
I recommend to flash the kernel zip file, as this will auto-root your phone.
Just read the kernel thread ... at least the first three posts.
If you are not sure what kernel version you have to flash, just ask in this kernel thread ... you only have to post your current ROM build version number (Settings > About phone > Build version).

(To post in dev thread, you need at least 10 posts on xda.)

Please don't flash the recovery only to the SGS2 ... it won't work.
On this device you need to flash the kernel including a recovery.
So download this kernel zip file ... if XWMS3 is your current ROM version.
Flash it from external sd card in recovery and this will auto-root your phone.
(Flashing the tar/md5 file with Odin won't automatically root your phone.)

Fonts are too big
Recovery is working fine, but the fonts are too big & I can only see half of the text. But its not a big deal for me as I have used CWM previuosly on another android device.
There is one question....Can I make Nandroid backups/restore???

Hello, this is herna from XDA Assist.
Regarding what you are trying to get, we can provide anything, as we are a forum where people connects and share its work, but we as XDA, don´t provide those kinds of things.
As far as I could search, your device does not seems to be a very famous one inside this forum, and I could not get even any other thread related to this device.
As far as I know, I doubt there is a CWM/TWRP for this device, you should Google it, and maybe you can be lucky and find some other place where someone got any of those recoveries to work on your device.
In case of the rooting thing, I would try Kingroot app, but I don´t promise this will work, just is the easier way to get it working without having a recovery.
I´m sorry of any of these are the news you were expecting, but this is all the info I have and all the info I can provide.
Spend a nice week, and wish you get both of your problems resolved.

I rooted my phone using Kongo root and I installed a custom recovery and now running on CWM recovery. Till then everything been working perfectly and it's all was just a piece of cake. then I downloaded gapps and lolipop, placed them in my external storage, went to recovery mode, cleared cache and clear to factory settings, cleared dalvik cache, but when I went to install them. I get the same error from both of them and it's like this "This package is for device : ms013g; this device is ms103g" I tried plenty of roms out there and gapps versions including lolipop versions and checked blisspop rom too I got the same thing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong ? Or its just my phone maybe I'm downloading roms for the wrong phone ? I would appreciate anyone's help in here. It's the only place I would come to
