You will need a custom Rom that's built for your BL.
If you flash a JBBL rom on a KKBL phone, it will not boot
If you flash a KBBL rom on a JBBL phone, it will not boot

hello. let me first apologize if this upsets anyone. i have been following threads, forums, and googling as much as possible and now I am utterly confused. I have the droid razr hd xt926 4.1.2 running 9.30.1. My questions are:
1. Can the bootloader be unlocked?
2. Can I safestrap and if so what version should I install?
3. If I can install safestrap what roms can I download?
4. What in the world are these mod things I am seeing?
Please help me understand. Alot of these posts for this phone are dated back to 2013. Some posts I've read indicate that I should first unlock the bootloader before safestrap... the which safestrap was designed for locked bootloader..I think. And safestrap v3 is not compatible with safestrap v2? which do i install? are all roms ok to download after I do? Can I get lollipop or cm12 roms to work? I do not want to brick this phone because it has to last me just alittle while longer. I currently am rooted with towelroot and have a locked bootloader. Again..I'm sorry. I tried following the threads and it just confused me more. Thank you in advance for all your hard work and I am greatly appriciative of all your time. Noob or Boob..unsure.

What can I do?

Do I need an Unlocked Bootloader ?
And I'm from México and I've read that I could lose my 4G internet service if I use a firmware that's not from my cellphone company,
Is it possible to downgrade from kk to jb bootloader?
Please I wanna know if it is possible. I have a unlock sim code and I need go stock, but the only rom available is sotock android 4.1.2 (with 3.0 kernel, Im o 3.4).

By any chance could i get a link to the 4.5 jbbl rom instead of the 4.6?
Hmm I guess not.. I don't know how I never uploaded older builds of jbbl or I must of removed them to not clog storage on drdevs.. Sorry about that but I guess not . All the more reason to be extra descriptive of bugs you find and I'l try to fix 'em.
Cheers anyway the reason I asked is because i own two razr hd's (xt925) both currently running stock kitkat uk build ota.when i install any kkbl rom i get This package is for 4.4 bootloader E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_SD/roms/pa_moto_msm8960-4.6-BETA5-20141022'.
And when I try jbbl I get the same but this package is for 4.1 bootloader.
So what bootloader do I even have
I have tried 4 of your builds,cm11,omnirom none of them install on both devices I have also tried it on twrp 2.8.1.0,2.8.0.0,2.7.0.0 and Phil adv cwm,cwm 6.0.3? . The problem is probably something wrong with my razr hd but I really need to know what it is . Please could you help PS I have downgraded to jb and the jbbl is working fine but there's no 4.5 on jbbl

Bootloop
Hi guys. Umpteenth time i tried to flash my xt926 with my favorite os miui, but i just have a bootloops, with moto logo.
I did all necessary wipes before and after flash, and i tried without wipe after flash but result is the same.
During flashing i have some message like md5 check skipped or failed, cant remeber all text.
Give me please precious advice, how to solve problem.
I had miui on defy+, and i can say that miui is the best that happened with android.
Recovery- last twrp, kitkat.

About 5 min I see motorola dual core technology boot logo, reboot and logo again. What I did wrong?
Wanted to check if anyone knew about a gsm build of miui for JB...I really liked this roms interface but couldn't play with it much as the sms is screwed up.... USSD codes for my carrier wont work... There seems to be a bug concerning Mobile Network Settings on Latest Validus 7 Rom.
The MObile Network settings are just force closing.
Logcat is in the attachements, i hope you will find the problem
Cant flash with KK bootloader
Greetings! I am trying to flash the lollipop build onto my xt926 and TWRP 2.7.1.0 is reporting that it cannot flash because it needs bootloader version 4.1, is this supposed to be correct? My bootloader has the following info on it : "10.9B(*) (sha-61146a2, 2014-05-02 03:15:48)" and code 3 of course.... also, what is the recommended recovery for this firmware?

Dude, this is a Build for the JBBL, not for KKBL.
It is will not work
So I'd need to get back to the JBBL before I could use it? Why isn't this developed on the newest bootloader?

Yes you need to.
Why not using CM12?
The Rom isn't developed for KKBL because the Developer owns an Atrix HD, which does not have an KKBL.
This Rom is an MSM8960 Rom, not primarely Developed for XT925/926, but Primarely for Atrix HD.

Xt926 root problem.....i know im sorry
I used 1.2 droid razor hd to root my phone. In step 1 the first 2 items failed but the rest were okay. Now phone doesnt work it starts up but I cant get to do any thing once getting to the start...any ideas? thought i read enough but i guess i didnt. help

I got one or two questions about this tool:
Since i can't find any SBF's for my XT925 anymore, i can't reverse back to stock.
Will this tool allow me to get back to Stock?
When i got back to stock, can i OTA up to KK?
And last question, will my pictures be deleted?
Hope that u guys can answer these questions for me, i love my phone and i want it to be on the most recent firmware

Thats true, haven't known this site till today.

It doesn't seem to have any european roms for the 925.
Am I just looking in the wrong category?

There are Files for the 925, but still no eurpoean, i guess.
I think i have been away for too long, i just want to downgrade my phone so i can OTA it in any way to 4.4.2 and then just leave it like that. Things seemed to be easier 2 years ago...
