have done quite of bit of searching/googling/asking , without any luck.
wondering if anyone had information/link to a way to remove google play-everything from a touchwiz rom.? every ROM built for my att sghi747 has google added into it.
i could probably delete from my file manager but not sure if i would get it all.
any help/direction/advice would be appreciated.

Hello all, I am looking to see if anyone has the installer apk's for gapps, gmail, vending etc. for android 1.6. I'm trying to get a tablet up and running and I accidently deleted them. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!
Hi,
the easiest way would be to extract it from e.g. the CyanogenMod/DRC83 Base ROM.
DRC83: h*tp://dx.infernix.net/DRC83_base_defanged.zip
CM4: h*tp://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/update-cm-4.2.15.1-signed.zip
(Sorry for the links - I have'nt enough postings to publish URL's )
Extract the ZIP-File and search for the APK's in system/app. BTW: Which Tablet are you using? You could download the original ROM and extract it from there. I'm not sure if the Vending.apk/etc. from the HTC Dream runs on a tablet.. Theoretically - yes.
Greetings,
Nathan
Hello all!!
Thought it might be a good idea to start a thread for everyone to post G APPS, ZIPS, FIXES, and of course APPS!!
NO PAID APPS / OR COPY RIGHTED MATERIAL PLEASE....
Many times flashing between different ROMs it is a pain to search from the phone to find the right " stuff " to add to a new software.
Idea is to post them here in one easy to find location. Please list as much info about the item you post as you can.
Best regards,
Chris
P.S. MOD'S please remove / delete this if there is any issue.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, CREDIT THE ITEMS DEVELOPERS!!!! OPEN SOURCE MEANS OPEN SOURCE, BUT IF YOU WORKED YOUR BUTT OFF, YOU DESERVE CREDIT!!!
Someone wanted a new font, here is a thread with a flashable font zip, it does work on cm7, just applied it!!!!
And not to mention several cm7 themes and extras!!!!!
Enjoy!!

guys some one please help me... i dint get th answer i was looking for...please help me
All you need to do is the install amazing Brut.all's amazing Brut Google Maps from here
.
Since you're not rooted, download and install the "maps4.6.0.4686-brut-renamed-tagged.apk" You'll still have the original one and this one next to it, which has a red Brut sign on the icon.
I hope Brut.all will update this amazing mod soon. But for now, if you want a port off Google Map 5, I came across this one. Though I have never tried it myself becasue it doesn't support custom stored tiles for offline use.
Hi all,
I hope this is the right area to ask this question but does anyone know where I can get the old version of apk's. I guess I'm looking for something like oldapps.com or oldversion.com but for apk's.
The reason is that a few of my favourite apps have been updated and the newer version isn't necessarily better.
Very recently I've found an app ('android assistant' but I'm sure there's more) which will backup the apk to the sd card which will help for the future if this happens again.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Nial.
Many file sharing sites have older versions. Just google "download app_name.apk" and you should get a long list of available versions.
Hello everyone,
I want to know how to get to have the reboot options (Reboot, Recovery, Donwload) on Marshmallow (Nexus 5 or other) stock rom on power menu without being obliged to install a custom rom or any type Xposed modules (which apparently do yet working on this version of android).
Threads exist here and there on the forum but for other versions of android and all talk of a framework and android.policy.jar modifications.
If android.policy.jar easily found on these older versions of Android (the file found in the framework folder), in Marshmallow rom impossible to get hold of it. :crying:
I think that this file has simply disappeared from circulation and was replaced by something else, see that his features were incorporated elsewhere ...impossible to find information on the subject despite long searches !
Is someone would be kind enough to please bring some informations and explain how to do that? that would be awesome !
Thank you in advance for your answers.
I think you might be interested in the world.

Hello everyone,
One to answer? I'm really surprised and disappointed!
No one can answer that? With the number of developers or modifiers that there is anywhere on the forum? :crying::crying::crying:
Come on guys, we need your lights!
Reminder to all those who know!
I use this app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=phongit.quickreboot&hl=en
Hello and thank you for this first response.
Unfortunately, it does not answer my question.
I already know this app that I use every day.
I want to know what changes to make on Marshmallow stock to bring up this reboot menu, as you might do in other previous versions.
yes I like digging my head ^^
