I work for a wireless company and I saw posted as coming a Motorola XT 1225 64gb. I wonder if this could be a gsm version of the droid turbo for verizon. Anyone knows?

Yeah that's definitely an international (or possibly just BR) version of the DROID Turbo!
Well, I am almost certain that this is an international version of Droid Turbo:
1 - Recently Anatel (the equivalent of the FCC here in Brazil) approved a smartphone with model number XT1225
2- Some Brazilian websites are stating that they were invited to an event on November 5th. If you look at the attached picture you'll see the back of a device which looks like the Droid Turbo.
3- The same website I took this picture from is stating that the smartphone will probably be called Moto Maxx because we once had a Razr Maxx which was just a rebranded version of the Droid Maxx from Verizon.
4- Knowing the market here in Brazil, I will be EXTREMELY surprised if I see the exact model you showed being sold here because it has 64gb of storage. For us, the only device that has this option right now, is the iPhone.
BTW, you just made my day! I was really hoping the Droid Turbo would come to Brazil and practically confirmed it! Thumbs up for that!

Confirmed: Motorola RAZR will be their 1st device with a "Bootloader Unlock solution"
Confirmed:
Motorola RAZR will be the first Motorola device to come with a ""Bootloader Unlock solution""
...but the option can be removed by operator's request
This means SIM-unlocked WORLD VERISIONS of the RAZR will have the bootloader unlock option, but some carrier (cough*Verizon*cough) phones won't

At least Motorola is offering a solution, now we just need to get rid of these stupid carriers polices

Hi... I have purchased motorola.. I am quite satisfied with it... Also I want to know about Razr now... How is it?
have preordered @25.10.11 - Depending on the latest news my german version will be unlocked and has no LTE on Board. (you dont need LTE in Germany, cause Tmo and Vodafone are not yet completely LTE ready)
For me its the hottest phone ever... i love steel, glass and kevlar. The galaxy nexus is to plasticlike for me.
Will write a short review when it arrives..
does this mean that only RAZR will have an unlocked bootloader or will all the new motorola handsets have an unlocked bootloader..??and does it in anyway affect the chancesof my Defy getting CM9 (because people have been saying that its difficult to put CM9 on defy because of the locked bootloader)??

Guys, I'd like to buy a Moto Razr Maxx HD too - I'm from Ireland, and so far I could not find any shops, any news portals, where anyone has info about how to get it outside of the US. There is no such thing like international Maxx HD, or what?
I'm looking forward to buy it, but I dont know, where can I get it.
On ebay, they only ship inside the US. Outside US, I could not find any offers, especially not sim free models.
If anyone can help me out with information, I'd be really thankful.
Cheers!
Anybody?

I am from Singapore too and my colleague and I have been following this for quite some time.
I have contacted Motorola-USA and Motorola Singapore about it. However they all have no idea when it will be available in Singapore.
I also have emailed a few retailers about it. So far no replies...
can verizon cdma work in singapore?
From what I see, the phone (you must unlock it) will be compatible with our network except LTE.

There is nothing in the Verizon version that keeps you from using it on a GSM network outside the US. It's unlocked internationally and locked to our dometic carriers, like AT$T and T-Mobile.

Hey
I emailed both, Wind Mobile and Motorola Canada, asking if and when will Moto G be available on any other carriers in Canada. Got same reply from both:
"We don't know." LOL
From what I've read some reports said Telus had a months head start, some said two months, before other carriers get it. So that puts it around holiday season or in January... Hopefully Wind will be one of them.

Unfortunately the name "Droid" is a trademark of Lucas Films and Verizon (not Motorola) has purchased the right to use the Droid name. So you you will never see a phone named "Droid" anything on any carrier except Verizon. IMO that's why even though the Moto X fits right in the line with the Mini, Ultra, and Maxx, it didn't get the Droid name allowing it to be used on other carriers.

Right but lots of times Motorola will release something similar on other carriers. Like the Atrix. Doesn't necessarily need to be called "droid mini" or look identical but I wish there was an att equivalent!

Amazingly, they do flash. I just flashed NON-HLOS.bin, then ran "erase modemst1" and "erase modemst2" and then flashed fsg.mbn. My radio now shows as the same radio on my AT&T Moto X. I then added the "phone" APN.
Very disappointed to report that I'm still not getting LTE on the mini on AT&T.
Too bad. Worth a try. Would have been awesome if it had worked, but I guess it just doesn't have the correct bands, even with the AT&T radio flashed. If anybody else has any ideas, would love to hear them.
You will get LTE in areas that have band 4 active. I have it some places and others not.
The at&t bands are different then Verizon. And as the mini/ultra/maxx was made exclusive for Verizon....... You may never have luck. Sorry about that. If I had better news for you I would let u know. Even with a locked boot loader, you can still flash a lot of things

In metro areas you have a better chance of picking up band 4 on att. Most areas are not band 4. T-Mobile is (for the moment) exclusively band 4.

Since today, can be purchased from motorola Mexico, starting from $5,999.00

Can anyone confirm the Moto X Play sold in Mexico is the dual sim version? It's unbelievable how confusing Motorola's model # and specification pages are.

The mexico model should be good to go here in the states and be unlocked. I would also be interesting in a 32gb model. If someone has an address in mexico we can ship to and then ship it back to use here...thats all we would need

Is that because you have one in hand or just from the motorola.mx website? I chatted with the motorola latin america support and they said at the moment only the single sim version is available. If you go through motomaker it makes no mention of dual sim, nor in the any of the description content. You only see dual nanoSIM in the specs.

The experience with T-Mobile was really good, this phone has AWS band for T-Mobile 3G and all the bands in LTE for T-Mobile and AT&T, and even some Chinese LTE bands, and I guess this phone is really good for a backup phone, I still love my Nexus 6, but this phone holds his ground pretty good.
