tried a few. it seemed that the Beastalk 4.4.4 once had it, but after I flashed to try a few others then got back to it, the icon of recording calls disappeared.
Any suggestions?

Carbon has a setting for it in the dialer. I haven't used it personally so I can't comment on how well it works though.

Google Hangouts -People Can't hear me
I'm having the same problem. I have a samsung galaxy s3 (AT&T) - d2att. I'm running the cm-10.1.0-RC2-d2att rom. I can hear and see everyone fine. They can see me but can't hear me. I've tried using the front and back camera. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Don't know what to do.

Hmm I'm on CarbonRom which is CM based. Wonder if its a CM issue.

I think i s CM. My wife has the same phone. Hers is not rooted and it works fine on her phone.

My brother called me from his HTC One (I was on my computer) and his mic wasn't working either. His is 100% stock..but for him it seems to sometimes work, and others not.

I have the same problem with my s3. If I use google hangouts I can hear the person I call but they can not hear me. If I use a wired headset they still can not hear me.
Now if I use a bluetooth headset They can hear me perfectly
I have updated my N8010 to 4.4.2. I was really hoping that it had the Google search feature where you say 'ok Google' like my S4 has, but it doesn't. I was wondering if there was any way of getting this feature onto my tablet?.

Its there on my N8010 on kitkat, there is a voice search app in the app draw and I can also access it through the google search widget

google voice never ever work on devices w/o sim card, but flashed with roms and mic files designed for devices that have simcard (reasons are far too long to discuss here....so accept it)
i mean u can never be able to have correctly working any mic applications on if you flash n8000 rom on a wifi only n8010/n8013....
so try to flash n8010/n8013 roms....
or there is another way...
u can struggle several weeks till you repair the issue and be happy that u had done it by yourself...

That doesn't really make sense because if you click the search bar at the top left and then say 'ok Google' it works fine from there. It's just not always active like it is on my phone. Oh well I can put up with it as it is without any worries.

mine works perfectly, no extra battery drain, no bugs to report.
Most of you know that CM11s on OPO breaks snapchat, for those that use snapchat on a regular basis on a OPO, what rom do you use for it to work?
It works fine for me on CM 11S.
Also working fine here on CM11S R33, I'm running Franco r15 if that makes a different (it shouldn't, but you never know)

Yes, stock CM 11S... works fine usually. A couple of times (not often) the camera stopped working, but rebooting fixed it.

Worked fine for me, I was on 33R. I don't have it anymore, but it worked well. No freezing or crashes
Works fine on stock. Although recording on front facing camera is buggy for me. The video becomes distorted upon playback, almost as if the video has been squashed inwards from the sides to reduce the size of the video.
Anyone else ^ ?

I can use it fine. Run into the camera swapping issues one or twice a week. Reboot fixes it though. Orientation though. That's another thing. Never got it work properly.

I remember this notification sound coming with the Moto G, but once I factory reset it, I cannot find it anymore. It may have been the hangouts video message notification, not the hangouts message. Like how hangouts call ringtone is different from hangouts video call ringtone. It went something like "dododododo " but with a clicking sound.

Thats weird, since all firmwares come with the same ringtones, as far as I know... Some carriers add propper ringtones in some cases, some of them are used on tv ads and so.. But I cant imagine why you'd have that misterious ringtone that has gone forever..

I did flash my phone to what was supposedly stock firmware. Maybe that firmware didn't have it. Or I'm crazy and it is from somewhere else.

You know what????? Thats an old Hangouts ringtone... When those new material design version of hangouts came up, they brought those new ringtones... Thats what happened, newer versions of the ringtone replaced the old one you were looking for.. I remember I use to have it some time ago... Glad to see you found it!!

Just enable Facebook app installer and it should work. Don't know why they have it tied to that. I hate facebook.

No it didn't. No updates solved anything. Strangely enough, I can hear the chimes and I can install everything Oculus-related....
oh well, I guess I'm going back to 5.1.1 nandroid backup.
EDIT: aaand it's working perfectly on 5.1.1 COJ5, cf-rooted.
