[Q] moto g asia kernel - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
I am looking for a stock kernel and radio.
I have noticed while searching them on xda that there are many of them
and i am confused in which one to flash.
I am currently on ASIA RETAIL 4.4.4 stock rom
rooted.
I also wanted to know the way to flash a complete stock rom ,kernel and radio via recovery
I am asking this because I don't know whether I am right or not.
I usually flash the complete one flash-all.bat
the one which flashes the mode, erase date and much more.
I would like to know are there any short way like by just flashing the rom, kernel and radio.
instead of going the long way.
I like to customize my phone with custom kernel.
I would like to have the stock downloaded as the back-up
if in case something goes wrong,or if I feel that stock is good,or anything but just a back-up.
please guys please help me in getting the stock rom, kernel and a radio as a flash able ones.
I have seen few on xda, but I am confused in selecting them so I am posting this thread.
STOCK ROM LINK THE ONE I AM USING PRESENTLY :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700502

[Q] which stock rom for that phone?

Code:
about phone
Model : gt-i9003
firmware version: 2.3.6
baseband version: i9003jxkp3
kernel version : 2.6.35.7-cl982987 [email protected] #1
build number : gingerbread.jpkph
*#1234#
PDA : i9003jpkph
phone: i9003jxkp3
scs : i9003ojpkpc
build info : tue feb 21 12:11:26 kst 2012
i think that makes it jxkp3 ...
so, I rooted the phone with JXKP3-CFROOT-25-05-2012.tar but started to get really bad battery life and regularly got screens of death, so I flashed unroot.zip but it didnt remove CWM and decided to get back to unrooted stock with stock recovery...
in the stock roms thread I can't find a stock jxkp3
so what should i use?
also which custom roms and kernels to use for good battery life and no SODs?
also any stable fully functioning ICS roms yet ?

you can download your stock firmware from sammobile.com..
And for custom Rom.. there are many good and stable custom Rom's there in development section.. you can install any one of your choice and requirements..
And there is no fully functional ics Rom as of now.. but cm9 is available Which is almost a daily driver now.. if u wish you can try it too..
Sent from my fingers to your face using xda premium.!
thanks...
any idea which custom kernels are the most stable and good for battery life ...
Your stock ROM is JPKPH, the middle eastern version released in february 2012.
would any moderator be kind and close/trash this topic.... It's irrelevant now
thanks

The first thing you need to do is to upgrade to the latest twrp big part, then to get the latest CM11 Kit Kat rom. The latest upgrade was March 17,2014

[Completed] [Q] A few questions about bootloaders and kernels.

Hello,
I want to flash CyanogenMod12 and then flash this kernel, http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/kernel-render-kernel-aosp-lg-roms-t2803929, but I need a JB bootloader.
How do I check which bootloader is on my phone?
What is the correct way to flash a bootloader?
Does my baseband version matter when flashing ROM's/kernels/bootloaders?
I have the LG G2.

Hello, this is herna from XDA Assist.
Regarding what you are trying to get, we can provide anything, as we are a forum where people connects and share its work, but we as XDA, don´t provide those kinds of things.
As far as I could search, your device does not seems to be a very famous one inside this forum, and I could not get even any other thread related to this device.
As far as I know, I doubt there is a CWM/TWRP for this device, you should Google it, and maybe you can be lucky and find some other place where someone got any of those recoveries to work on your device.
In case of the rooting thing, I would try Kingroot app, but I don´t promise this will work, just is the easier way to get it working without having a recovery.
I´m sorry of any of these are the news you were expecting, but this is all the info I have and all the info I can provide.
Spend a nice week, and wish you get both of your problems resolved.
