I need help to edit xml on I8552 (samsung Win) device
When i edit by notepad++ the code be only caracteres sintax or NUB NUB expression and trunch

Nobody help but after more studies i was understand so right now show to beginners...
For read and modify anywhere XML arq its requisits to start:
1) Apktool
2) Java plataform
3) framework, Tw-framework and systemui installed on apktool repository in others folder
4) Next step on script decompile your apk and open the project xmls with notepad++ or another editor
The codes will be decrypted.

When i decompile a android game apk it only decompile the smali, and then it stop when it try to decompile the resources, any fix?

hello XDA it feels so good to be finally part of the family.....
Now i have been following XDA for a while now.....everything i know ive learnt i got from here and i appriciate it a lot so thanks.
I have a mt6572 S6 clone that i bought for developing practise....ive been trying to mod status bar....
i can now properly decompile and recompile apk and jar files, but I have a problem my mtk device policy.jar doesnt have classes dex, only have METAINF file....so how do i mod it if I cant find smali files I have the same problem with system ui apk, no smali files
the phone runs on aosp rom, rooted. I'd really appreciate the help.

How can I protect and an APK program from being modified by any program editer such as (advanced apk tools)????
P.S: I don't want to edit or modified any JAVA CODES.
I just want to prevent anyone from decompile the APP???
