Hi all, glad to be a new member of XDA Dev. I have a serious problem, my sd card suddenly stopped working and can't be recognized not only by my phone but also by my PC. Fortunately i haven't lost photos or music because i have a backup for these files, but i lost a .vcf file with my contacts and lost all of them..is there any way to find this file? Thanks in advance

File manager apps can reading it. I attached to PC but pc not reading any storages. Help me please. (sorry me for bad English)
Did you try formatting the cards (not on your pc, but from your phone)?

The app that you tried might not be supporting the s5 clone.
So i would recommend you to uninstall that app and then reboot your phone.
There is a change that your problem might be fixed.

hi developers, i have a htc one dual sim 802w (m7_cdug) running lollipop. my mom had the same phone as mine so i took a lollipop backup, renamed it, and then restored it to my phone. the problem was that when it was done, i went to my sd card and copied an apk file to my internal storage but it fails saying ''something went wrong while copying google now launcher.apk''. it wasnt only that file that had the problem. i tried doing it by my laptop and i get the message after it fails that my device has been disconnected or is corrupt. well, my device is connected so the only option is that its corrupt. what do i do? pls help (asap). i cant even play my favorite game which is minecraft pe!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. If the sd card fails on your device and pc, did you use a stand alone sc card reader on the pc?, then your sd card is corrupt. The only fix is to reformat the card. You'll of course lose everything on it during the format

Hi guys,
Big problem here.. My sister had a problem with her phone, and
she ask me to put custom rom on it. The phone is Samasung Galaxy S3 mini.
So I told her to move here pictures to external hard disk, and she did.
I preinstalled the phone and formated the SD card to be clean.
Few days after this she called me with panic in her voice and said
that some folders that she moved from the SD card to the external drive
are empty. And When she copied the pictures she got no error message.
Just did not checked them for sure, and now very important pics are gone.
Is there any way to recover this pictures guys?
Any ideas will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Recuva is Best Sotware. I have also recovered images by Recuva.
Stellar Data Recovery
Stellar Data Recovery is the best software when i need recovery operation.

Don't use the phone! Just plug out the external SD out and put it into a computer. Next download Recuva and use it's deep scan feature to scan for deleted files. This may take a while (up to 5 hours) but it's the best possible solution.
Note that not all files can be restored.
